Chapter 2343: Chapter 2337: Head Injuries Should Be Taken Seriously

"I got injured on a mission; it’s nothing serious. Your sister said it would be fine after a while." Gong Wuyou assumed Qin Jiale was asking out of concern for him.

"You need to be careful with head injuries; it’s an important part of the body and can’t be taken lightly." Qin Jiale had heard his sister earlier, but he knew that this meant Wuyou didn’t plan on resting properly. This kind of behavior is unacceptable; thinking you can just do what you want is dangerous for an injured person. What if there are long-term effects, what would you do then?

Qin Jiale thought about these things from an outsider’s perspective and was genuinely concerned about them. After all, no one chooses to remain sick; everyone wishes to be healthy and comfortable, right?

"There’s nothing to be done about it; I’ll be more careful in the future. Thanks for your advice." Gong Wuyou was well aware, but what could he do? He hadn’t planned for this. But with his bad luck, his first such mission ended with a major accident, and he was quite frustrated about it.

"Principal, someone is here," Chu Molin interrupted the lively chat between Qin Jiale and Gong Wuyou.

"How do you know?" The principal hadn’t heard anything himself, so what was Chu Molin basing his assumption on?

"Knock knock."

Before the principal could finish his thoughts, within five seconds, there was a knock at the door. This left him incredulous as he glanced at Chu Molin. Was this kid really that impressive, or did he possess some extraordinary ability that the principal was unaware of?

The principal got up to open the door, still pondering how Chu Molin and his mercury manometer had known someone was at the door. It wasn’t until he opened the door and saw the person outside that he figured it out.

"Principal, I’ve brought the exam papers." The teacher, seeing the principal at the door, lifted the folder in his hand.

"Come in." The principal nodded and let him enter, listening to the sound of the visitor’s footsteps. Were the steps too heavy, allowing Chu Molin to hear them, whereas the principal was old and hard of hearing? Because of Chu Molin’s words, the principal began to doubt his own hearing. If Chu Molin heard this, would he burst out laughing? After reading a book given by his wife, Chu Molin had developed keen hearing and could detect sounds even from several meters away. However, he didn’t feel the need to share this; he just needed to understand it himself without announcing it to the world. It wouldn’t be favorable for them, so he chose not to speak out.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" The visitor blurted out upon seeing Chu Molin.

"Exam." Chu Molin wasn’t too aloof to speak, summing up the situation in just two words.

"You’re taking the exam?" The teacher looked at Chu Molin after hearing his words. If it were him, what exam would he need to take? The last time he tested, the teacher was present, and those results were the best he’d seen in decades. Hearing Chu Molin’s words now made him feel like he might as well leave.

"No." Chu Molin brevity left nothing else to be said.

"You should’ve told me sooner; I thought our hard work over the past night was wasted again." Upon hearing this, the teacher was relieved. As long as it wasn’t him, because he already knew Chu Molin would pass without even trying.
