Although individually the Goos weren’t that big of a threat, because they always stayed together, nobody would ever fight a single one of them, but dozens if not hundreds at a time! They also acted like some sort of colony, connecting their minds and instincts as they became giant masses of unified cell-like slime, this was a frightening ability that apparently earned this subspecies of Goos their name, “Colony Goos”.

Colony Goos were smaller than the average Goo even when they became of high Tier, their strength lay in their numbers and their ability to reproduce very quickly. Although they were also good for the environment and everything, if too many were made, the Oasis People would come here to exterminate a few themselves.

Their slime was not only good for the Crater Jungle, but also for the people, they extracted their slime and boiled it, purifying it into a blue colored cream and oil, used for the cleansing of the body and to keep the skin smooth, while protecting from bug bites.

Their oil was exceedingly good for washing hair, as it left it silky and also with a protective layer of special components that protected it from bugs and other insects that are air or infested the head of people.

Therefore, Agua tried to simply see the good side of this, they’ll be able to get a lot of these materials, which are quite rare now in the village. But she didn’t want to ask her friends to give it away, so she started hunting on her own to gather the slime from the Goos, without having to rely on asking for favors.

“{Aqua Serpent}! {Sapphire Cannon}! {Aqua Bubble Trap}!”

She conjured many Water Attribute Spells at once, conjuring giant snakes made of water that wrapped around her foes, cannons of boiling water that shone like sapphire jewels, and bubbles of water that trapped and drowned foes inside. Goos couldn’t drown though, but they were crushed by the bubbles own internal pressure squeezing them.

Meanwhile, in the other side of the cave, Aquarina tried out her new Trident weapon, unleashing giant torrents of spiraling, highly pressurized water that blew up dozens of Goos every second, piercing through their Colony form with ease.

And when they tried to sneak behind her, Leviathan would help her by freezing the monsters and turning them into giant statues of red, orange, and pink color, the primary color that Colony Goo had.

“This is too easy!”

She studied the power of Undine’s Weapon Form, and how it held many incredible abilities. One of them was the power to transform any Water Spell or Skill she used through it into a powerful physical and magical attack.

Also, it could increase the power of such elemental attacks by ten times! Making them overly devastating! However, the bad thing was that it drained a lot of spirit energy out of her.

Aquarina on her own could devastate the Goos, but her friends also wanted a piece of the pie, so they joined in the battle to grow stronger through hunting monsters.

Even if the monsters were weaker, when so many were exterminated in a hard battle where they put their lives on the line, their bodies were eventually going to react and develop.

And so, they pushed themselves to their limits.

“Take this! And this! Haaaah! {Holy Soul Hammer Arts}: {Nova Smite}!”

Silvia exhausted herself as she pushed her powers to her limits, creating a third hammer and then a fourth, using all four hammers enchanted by Khepri into mechanical hammer weapons, which released explosions of golden flames and light upon hitting a foe, and even included propulsors on their back to hasten and strengthen her blows.

Meanwhile, she also practiced the management of Mana within her, trying her best to control it properly and not let it spill all over the place. Khepri helped her out by strengthening her body beyond her limits with her Partial Mechanical Armor.

She smashed dozens of Goos at once, hundred dying before her power, as she spread shockwaves of light everywhere with her signature move, Nova Smite!

BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!

While doing this, Justicio was also fighting on his own side, devastating his enemies with his overwhelming physical prowess and huge body, which became at least twice as big with his insectoid armor.

Resembling a giant golden colored rhinoceros’ beetle from afar, Justicio fiercely charged forward, using his long insect wings to propel himself, he swung his golden orichalcum axe, infused with his own insectoid armor, allowing him to create something similar to a Soul Weapon.

“{Orichalcum Soul Weapon Manifestation}: {Insectoid Axe Of Ruin}!”

By using the orichalcum of his armor and his axe and controlling them into fusing together, he managed to create his Soul Weapon ahead of time, giving it a vessel instead of letting it manifest on its own like Silvia could, as Justicio’s talent over Soul manipulation weren’t as big.

However, with this giant axe alone, he was able to easily destroy large groups of Goos at once, making them explode into pieces as his axe attacks released explosive shockwaves of mana everywhere.

“OOOOGGHH!”

Among the Goos, he was quickly surprised by a giant black colored one, another Goo King of Tier 7! However, Justicio didn’t step back but faced it head on, jumping forward and using his wings to help him rotate in midair, spinning with his axe at the front.

“{Insectoid Axe Arts}: {Rhinoceros Beetle’s Horn}!”

By spinning forward and thrusting the axe to the front, his aura transformed, becoming black and resembling a rhinoceros beetle with a gigantic spear-like horn, impaling through the Goo King and dozens of other monsters behind him.

BOOOM!

The Goo King died as its core shattered into pieces, another few dozen Goo met their demise against him as well, Justicio’s Mana was already going down, but he didn’t give up yet either.

The only way to grow quickly was to push himself to this extent!

“Oh wow… They’re really doing it…”

Pyuku didn’t felt like fighting anymore, only watching from afar in silence as his friends slaughtered everything.

Eventually, after roughly an hour, they were finally done.

Aquarina calculated around seven hundred Goos left, and Agua said it was an okay number, before they left, they stored as much of the slimy substance as they could.
