Chapter 1752: New Divine Equipment From Goddess Sylphy 1

Seeing Aquarina so decided on learning how to fight with a staff, Undine let out a small chuckle.

“O-Okay, okay, calm down a little… Hahah…” Undine found it funny, despite how much she knew about Aquarina, there were things that still surprised her about her.

She had assumed Aquarina would just ignore the staff or, later on, try to use Alchemy and Forging to turn it into a different weapon like a sword or a dagger, or even a spear.

But Aquarina wasn’t going to desecrate a staff created by her goddess, so she naturally simply decided to use it as a secondary weapon of sorts.

“Staves are among the most basic weapons everyone know how to wield, you know? S-So I think I can handle this, yeah…” Aquarina muttered. “Um, but why a staff though…”

“Probably because you choose to be her Saint rather than her Hero,” explained Undine. “Saints are always magicians or priests that use staves or wands to enhance their magical potential…”

“O-Oh… So if I choose hero I would’ve been able to get a sword?!” Aquarina gasped. “Damn… Oh well, it’s too late to care. And well, I am not going back on my decision either way!”

“Can you check what it has? Does it have a status screen?” Wondered Undine.

“Hmm, let me see…” Aquarina squinted her eyes. “System? Can you show me the staff, the diadem, and the ring’s information right away?”

And then, one after another, three information windows appeared in front of Aquarina.

“Huh?! It’s a whole status- wait, it’s the best type of equipment!” Aquarina gasped. “That’s why I felt like I got stronger out of nowhere… By holding this staff my stats increase! It even comes with two abilities… Wait a second, are they similar to the Skill I got? Huh…”

“Interesting…” Undine nodded; she could also see these system windows. “That description at the end is funny.”

“What?” As Aquarina read it, she furrowed her eyebrows. “Oh… “Delicate”, huh? Maybe this will be the first time ever a Saintess with muscles appears in this world.”

Aquarina felt mildly irritated by the description but decided not to care as she looked at the other two Status Screens in front of her, the diadem and the ring.

{Item Description}

A Divine Diadem created by the Heroic Divinity, Sylph, bestowed to her beloved Saintess. By wearing this, the Saintess will always be defended from harm by a powerful Elemental Spirit Guardian, as long as she has the Mana for it.

“Oho, this one is interesting, a guardian, huh?” Aquarina wondered, reading the item’s description in fine detail as she smiled and nodded. “Alright, how do I summon this thing?”

She placed the diadem on top of her head, it was of a nice gold and orange color, and it looked gorgeous over her head, as if she were some sort of tribal princess.

Aquarina has never been fond of jewelry, even though her mother had told her she would look gorgeous with some gold and shiny jewels, she had mostly refused because she thinks they’re bothersome.

She only accessories she wore were made by Sylph or her parents or Felicia and were imbued with magical abilities and boosts her stats. Just like this diadem, or the ring she was holding in her other hand.

“Let’s see… Spirit Guardian?”

FLUOSH!

And then, something manifested out of the diadem.
