I opened my Dungeon System Status, something I hadn’t checked in quite a while.

“Huh, that’s a lot of information,” I murmured, nodding slowly. “You’re right—there’s an empty floor we haven’t developed yet. I had been planning to turn it into the Desert we’ve been putting off this whole time. But giving it to Armageddon as a gift… maybe that wouldn’t be so bad.”

“Hm, if a Goddess like her settles there and transforms the floor into her Divine Domain or Divine Realm, it could bring tremendous benefits, Sylphy,” Yggdra said thoughtfully. “Imagine the power she would accumulate and harvest on that floor. It would flow back to your Dungeon, greatly increasing Dungeon EXP and Dungeon Energy. And that’s without mentioning the Divine Treasures she could create there, which we could harvest.”

“Hmm, perhaps we could… but I don’t know. I just don’t trust her!” Alice protested, revealing an unexpectedly zealous side—or perhaps a touch of jealousy.

“Um, but why, Alice?” I sighed. “She’s my Familiar now. We have a literal Soul Contract, and I revived her… You really can’t trust her at all?”

“Listen, Alice,” Yggdra said gently. “I understand your reservations toward her. I share them too—she wasn’t originally trustworthy, and her reluctance to truly redeem herself is concerning. But if we want to follow the path we’ve chosen, we will have to make sacrifices and form unlikely alliances we never would have considered before… all for the sake of our goals, our dreams. Do you understand?”

“I… I know…” Alice sighed, visibly moved by Yggdra’s wise and measured words. “You talk as if you’re so much older than me, when you’re really just Sylphy’s age…”

“I technically share the age of the other trees in my forest,” Yggdra explained with a soft smile. “And that forest has now spread across more than half of Cloudia. Not only trees, but many other plants have connected themselves to my Soul.”

“Okay, I get it,” Alice conceded with another sigh. “But we get some of the Divine Treasures too, right?”

“Hmph… I’m willing to share, but I won’t give you everything I create,” Armageddon replied. “Deal?” She extended her claw toward me, waiting for a handshake.

“We get seventy percent of everything you produce,” Alice countered immediately. “Or we’ll kill you again.”

“What?!” Armageddon growled. “I won’t give you that much! It wouldn’t even be worth it for me! I’ll yield… twenty percent!”

“Sixty percent!”

“Forty!”

“Fifty-five!”

“F-Forty-five!”

“Fifty. And that’s my final offer.”

“Ffff… Fine!”

Armageddon seethed with frustration. Alice had grown noticeably sassier—or was that just my imagination? Either way, I supposed it came with growing up.

Nonetheless, we had secured an excellent deal.

“If we can harvest the Divine Treasures she creates on Floor Six, you can use them in your Cauldron, Sylphy,” Alice said, smiling brightly.

“Right! That would be incredibly useful,” I agreed, nodding with enthusiasm. “So far I’ve had almost no way to obtain divine materials, but this sounds like an amazing opportunity!”

“It is,” Armageddon said with a wicked, satisfied smile. “You’ve truly gotten lucky having someone like me, hmph…! Now show me where it is. Once I settle in, I will expand my Divine Soul, establish a Divine Domain, and anchor it to reality, forming a Divine Realm. After that… well, many things will change. I’ll need more power. You’ll supply the necessary Mana, I hope.”

“I can do that,” I assured her. “Don’t worry—the Dungeon has plenty of overflowing Mana too. You can absorb it all. That way we won’t get Miasmic Beasts spawning so easily if you consume the excess.”

“Hoh, gladly!” Armageddon replied, her cocky grin widening.

Perfect. With this arrangement, Armageddon could solve that persistent problem once and for all. She would drain the excess MP from the Dungeon, preventing Mana Overload from corrupting into Miasmic Nests and spawning those infuriating Miasmic Beasts.

Those creatures had the ability to distort space inside my Dungeon, leaving it vulnerable to interference from the Evil God of Dungeons. He had even managed to open a Demon Gate before—that bastard.

“Then let’s go. Hurry.”

I led her to the sixth floor, guiding her through the first five as we descended. The fourth floor resonated strongly with her; she showed genuine interest in its volcanic landscapes and fiery expanses, but ultimately she shook her head.

“Too much Dragon Energy and too many Dragon-type monsters,” she explained. “They would clash with me and disrupt my Divine Domain. I’m not interested.”

We continued to the fifth floor afterward—a breathtaking world of snow-covered peaks, ice-flower fields, and crystalline beauty. Visiting this place always filled me with peace, and I found myself wishing I could bring Aquarina and my friends here someday, maybe to relax and gather the materials they needed.

Armageddon, however, despised it.

“Ugh! It’s so cold here! How can you stand this temperature?! I’m freezing to death! Hurry and show me the place!”

“Okay, okay, calm down!”

I scooped her up in my arms—still in her small form—and enveloped her with the warmth of my Fire-Attribute Yggdragon Aura.

Finally, at the end of the fifth floor, stairs appeared amid a snowy field ringed by a garden of frozen blossoms. We descended, reaching our destination after half an hour of exploration. We could have teleported, but I wanted her to see the entire Dungeon.

“I must say, it’s even emptier than I imagined,” she remarked, staring blankly at the vast white void. “How did you create such a seamless empty space here without it collapsing into the void?”

“I… don’t really know?” I admitted. “It’s just how the System handles an unused Dungeon floor. We once obtained a Dimensional Crystal that could open Dungeon Gates. I forged it into a bracelet, and after using a System Seed as an ingredient, it merged with the System itself.”

“Ah, I see… What is that item?” she asked curiously.

“This one,” I said, showing it to her.
