Chapter 953: Cyclone Guild Branches
Chapter 953: Cyclone Guild Branches
Midnight Crane, Skylar, and Bloom didn't have much against the Floral Branch.
But because the Floral Branch had invited two external force players, namely Lin Feng and Lunar Wraith, they all collectively hated them.
Who didn't know that these two were the most outrageous and bold players in their Northern Plane?
Others might try to take advantage of their Super Guilds, but these two completely stepped over them and trampled on their pride and reputation.
Aside from the so-called town's opening, the fact that Lin Feng had even boldly targeted the Malefic Order Guild was a slap to their faces.
It would have been fine if the fight was private, but the matter became so publicly heated that people started to question if their Super Guild status was still justified in the Divine World.
After all, the Divine World was a completely different VRMMORPG compared to the past games. All the mechanics and dynamics were fundamentally different.
It was to the point where even a random start-up guild could potentially rise to the status of a first-rate guild.
Take Silver Wind and Tyrant Fist Guild, for example.
These two guilds were originally unknown, but after achieving some fame and records, they managed to soar and became a force to be reckoned with.
However, nobody could deny the fact that the fastest climber was none other than the Vanguard Guild.
Having confronted numerous first-rate guilds, followed by a Super Guild like the Lethal Corp, they had proven time and time again that they weren't some small fry.
Previously, many were even laughing at their incompetence, especially the Reaver Guild, which had been beaten black and blue. But now, nobody dared to laugh at the Reaver Guild and even found them pitiful.
Who could have imagined a small start-up guild to be that frightening?
It was to the point where even Midnight Crane, Skylar, and Bloom felt their position and status were threatened. Hence, they had colluded with the other Super Guilds in this particular trial to eliminate them as soon as possible.
Alas, they were lucky and managed to escape a wipeout immediately because of the unexpected battle royale that teleported everyone randomly.
Moreover, with the rebellion of the external force players, they seriously couldn't afford to waste their time searching for two players specifically when dangers roamed around.
They could only play it safe and eliminate the external force players they encountered while roping in more of the Super Guild members to their side.
Collectively, the trio had already eliminated over 40 players, but they couldn't deduce whether the other eliminated players involved the two main targets in their list.
"There are more red dots on the map. I suppose we should just focus on eliminating them." Skylar suggested.
"We need to end this battle royale immediately." Bloom chimed in, her gaze locking onto Midnight Crane.
Upon hearing that, Midnight Crane could only agree to them. He was arrogant and rude to those beneath him, but to those on a similar status to him, he still remained amiable and respectful.
"Alright, it's just 3 red dots, but it's better than nothing."
With that being said, the trio began their journey, whereas on the other side, another group of players was embroiled in danger.
This group of players all had the Cyclone Guild Emblem on their chests, but with the keen eyes, one could tell they were from the Tornado and Lightning Branch.
"Damn it, how are we this unlucky?"
"The signal that we tracked shows that Floral Witch went this way, so how could we have stumbled across a boss level monster?"
At this moment, both the leaders in their respective branches were fuming in anger.
Fernando, leader of the Tornado Branch, glared angrily at Kelso, who was the leader of the Lightning Branch.
"Are you sure your spy didn't betray you and send you false information?" Fernando questioned.
He was truly skeptical of Kelso's intel and wondered if the latter had been played and managed to drag him down.
"Previously, your spy leaked the information and managed to move the Malefic Order Guild, but they were then caught and expelled from the guild."
Kelso's eyelid twitched slightly when he was reminded of the spy incident within their Cyclone Guild again.
"Do you want to die, Fernando?" He clenched his fist and sneered, "If it weren't for your side being so careless, would my spy be caught by Floral Witch? Now, even the Guild Leader got involved and chided me heavily. How dare you accuse me of having false information now? If anything, I seriously doubted your side of being competent!"
Fernando frowned, but didn't retort further. Indeed, it was true that due to their sides being careless, Floral Witch managed to capture the spy.
Although none of them suffered any big losses and only the spy was sacrificed, it was still a slap in the face to them.
While they were at the peak of their conversation, they managed to escape from the monster but stumbled across a tiny monster colored in a mixture of purple and dark.
"What the heck is this?" Kelso frowned and immediately ordered his people to attack it.
Just when Kelso's men were about to unleash an attack, the monster suddenly twitched and sent out a beacon of signal.
"Crap!"
Fernando was unsure what the monster was, but he would be damned if he didn't think this monster was calling for reinforcement.
Almost immediately, he was about to warn the rest to retreat, only to realize their movement had turned sluggish.
Moreover, their attributes seemed to have decreased. By now, even an idiot could tell that they have been ambushed.
"Damn it. What kind of summoned creature is that?" Kelso gnashed his teeth and hurriedly formed a defensive circle. The enemy's whereabouts were still unknown, so the best response was to group together and defend. They were all experienced leaders and knew not to panic and run around impulsively.
"It's the kind that will send you to your graveyard!" Amidst their shock and bewilderment, a voice echoed from afar.
As Kelso and Fernando shifted their gaze, they spotted two players donning Stealth Cloaks, completely covered from top to bottom.
