SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 374 The last ones

The demon kings and heroes stood in the valley of blood, discussing what they would do after this.

Suddenly, they all felt a strange and scary energy wash over them, an energy that they seemingly knew but were not sure what it was.

Storm looked in the direction of the empire. “Something has gone wrong,” he said, trying to make his voice seem far calmer than it was, but they could all hear the slight panic in his voice.

“This aura, I have felt it before,” Daegon said.

“What is it then?” Storm asked.

“I don’t want to say it, because if it is what I think it is, then we are doomed—all of us. There will be no saving us.

I felt the aura close to one of the newest forced portal sites, and it was still unstable. The aura beyond the seal, the energy beyond the veil, the energy used by the demons,” Daegon explained.

“Are you meaning to say a true demon might have come into our world?” Storm asked. Everyone had a panicked look on their face as they stared at Daegon.

“I don’t know, and we can’t be sure if that is what it is, but it seems familiar,” Daegon said.

“You are pretty much correct.”

A voice sounded out of nowhere. They immediately turned in a rush to see who it was, and they saw a man standing there—white hair and blue eyes.

Immediately, White Fang and Elaine saw him, and they called out, “Silva!”

“No, no, no, I am not him,” the man said and started walking toward them. “But I do know Silva, though he doesn’t know me.

I am more than just a simple human. I am a being not locked down by time, space, or reality,” he said as he walked closer to them.

“Cut the crap talk. Who are you, and how are you here? Whatever you say will decide if you live or die,” Storm said.

“Storm, leader of the heroes, the one who would not allow his own daughter to have a life and has now forced her into a life she doesn’t want.

It is no wonder she ran into the arms of Silva and decided to make a deal with him. Silva offered her something that you, her father, took away from her. He offered her the chance to find her mother,” the man said with a smile.

Storm got enraged as he heard the man talk. He didn’t know how this man managed to know all that about him, but hearing a stranger talk about his family issues like that made his blood boil.

He was also furious at the fact that this man said his daughter was with that demon king candidate now. That was impossible. He would rather kill her than allow her to do that.

“I don’t know how you know all that, but you have one last cha—” Storm tried to speak, but he was cut off as a hand appeared on his neck, ready to snap it.

He looked up and saw the man looking at him with cold eyes. “Do you really believe your strength is enough to force me? You weak-ass human,” he said with a cold voice.

Boom!

Storm was sent flying by a sudden force from the hand. His body flipped and turned in the air. He landed roughly into the ground and rolled for a bit before coming to a stop. He forced himself up, managing to get back on his feet, the rage in his eyes still evident.

“Heroes, Demon Kings—you all bear these concept names, but you never really understood what you were. Well, now I might as well tell you, because you all will be dying soon,” he said in a joyous tone.

They all looked at him, unsure of what to do and how to go about it. Should they attack, or should they not? They didn’t know what path to take now.

“Hmm, I see that all of you are thinking of ways to kill me, but I’ll ask you to be careful now, for the first person to move without my consent will have their head blown off.

You lot are very dumb. I’ve watched you for years now, unsure of how you would carry out your dumb hero and demon duties.

I thought you all would be smart, make the right choices, but the pride has all gone to your heads, not allowing you to do things the way you should.

If you didn’t have any pride, you all should have known right from the beginning that Silva was not normal. He was a boy—a boy, you blasted humans—yet one day, he turned into the most feared creature to exist.

Yet you all watched him grow and become what he is now. Though it’s a big shame that you all will never get to see what will become of Silva and this world.

You all are failures. Because of you, the hero and demon king cycle has ended. The job will no longer be passed on—it all ends with you.”

“What do you mean it ends with us?” Daegon asked.

“Have you not been listening? Or did I forget to tell you that the demon seal has been lifted and demons have begun to come out in the empire?

Yours truly has set them all free in your world. And since the demons are free, there will be no more curses, and in a few days, the demons will cause the celestials to also be free, and then there will be no need for you humans or other races.

After all, you all will be dead in days. Sorry, days are a lot to say—give it a day, and that will be the end. I only came here to warn the saviors of mankind,” he said.

The heroes and demon kings finally understood what they had felt and what had happened. They looked at this person in shock.

“I was not the one that did it, to be honest. Your emperor was actually the cause. I think your best chance at survival would be Silva, but you’ll still try to kill him either way,” the man said and vanished.
