SSS Ranked Reincarnation: Dark Dragon Legacy

Chapter 432 - 432: Lumis Region

After speaking with Silva, Ophelia decided to speak to people here. She was their goddess after all, and this might be the last time that she got the opportunity to actually see them. Order would surely not allow her anymore, and that was a fact.

Silva, on the other hand, decided to leave and catch his breath. He flew high into the sky and looked down on the world.

“Peaceful, isn’t it?” He heard Lily’s voice come from behind him. He looked behind him, saw her flying there, a soft smile on her face. She came forward to his side.

“This world is beautiful,” she said, “and now that we finally saved it, it can start to regrow. But something tells me you won’t be available for that,” she said.

“Yeah, I can’t, even if I wanted to. My presence here for an extended time caused harm. And beyond that, Ragna is coming,” Silva said.

“So what’s the plan now? How do you plan to go?” she asked.

“Well, to deal out more power and better adventures. Argon is saved, and though it might be hard, it’s time I finally left,” Silva said.

“And who will be coming with you on this journey? I’m pretty sure not everyone can follow you,” she said.

“Yeah, I don’t even know what’s out there, or if I can protect everyone from it. I don’t plan to go with everyone, just you and Drake,” Silva stated.

“What about the others? Fang, Gallan, the rest, your sister, Quin,” she asked.

“No, everyone else can stay here. They have to rebuild Argon, and not only that, I’m on the run, and as hard as it is to say, I can’t bring them along,” Silva stated.

“Sigh, I guess that’s true. They won’t be happy with it though, especially Dawn,” Lily said.

“Yeah, Dawn… I don’t think she’ll allow me, but I won’t bring her. Dawn is someone I trust the most; she’ll be the one that will take the lead of Argon,” Silva said.

“Alright then, so when do you leave?” she asked.

“As soon as possible. There is no point in dragging it out for long, I’ll only be delaying the inevitable,” Silva said.

“I understand, but rather than take me and Drake alone, take along Dawn. She is the closest to you, and I feel you should bring her along,” Lily said.

“If you feel that strongly about her coming, then that’s fine. She’ll come along with us,” Silva said.

[…]

A few days went by. Ophelia stayed, waiting for Silva to get ready. The news caused a mix of feelings with everyone. They had been together for such a long time, so having him leave was something that they didn’t want, but they had to let go.

They understood that he needed to leave, and that he couldn’t allow them to follow due to certain things.

Silva didn’t want to leave them. He had memories with every one of them, but now it was time for him to go further, and the nostalgia wasn’t enough to hold him back.

Silva, Drake, Lily, and Dawn stood with Ophelia, facing everyone. And only now, as he stood facing them all, did he realize the amount of people he had gathered over time.

The friends, the family, everyone so far. The story of Argon wasn’t coming to an end because he was leaving for a little bit. There were people here that had seen it all with him and were going to continue from where he stopped.

Silva took a deep breath. “It’s funny, now that I look at all of you, I can’t help but feel sad and happy at the same time.

I really want to stay with you all, but my time has come to an end. I could stand here for hours and speak about how each and every one of you has impacted me, but that would take ages, so all I can do is this.”

Silva bowed, a full ninety degrees. Everyone was stunned. He rose his head with a soft smile and slightly glassy eyes.

“I guess this is goodbye,” he said.

“Wait, what about Snow?” Quin yelled. “You dumbass, the kid was handed to you, why the hell do you want to leave her here?”

“Snow? I thought it would be best for her to stay with you guys,” Silva said.

“You already left Elsa, your first daughter, and now you want to leave the second? You set a really terrible dad, brother,” Quin said with a sinister smile.

Silva sighed. He looked at Snow in the hands of Elsa, and then spoke, “I guess she deserves to come,” he said.

Elsa brought her up and handed her to Silva. He took her into his arms and stepped back.

Ophelia looked at him and he nodded back at her. Then with one final wave, a beam of light struck down and they vanished, leaving Argon, not for the last time, but to start a new journey as he tried to reach his greatest goal.

What was out there for the dark dragon, he had no idea, but he was still going to brave through it.

[…..]

When the light died down, Silva opened his eyes in a vast open space, looking at the swirling cosmos below.

“Where is this?” he asked.

“The beginning of your journey. There is strength in every world that you see out there, so use them to grow,” Ophelia said.

“Uhm, is there any detail we should know of?” Silva asked.

“Well, I’ll be sending you to a place known as the Lumis region. It’s a place filled with planets and worlds, where everyone has the goal of becoming the strongest.

There you might come across gods, immortals, Supreme Magus, Martial Gods, and more,” Ophelia said.

“Uhm, shouldn’t you explain these concepts more to me before we leave?” Silva asked.

“You’ll figure it out after you get there,” she said with a smile, and then with the snap of her finger, a portal opened.

“I have someone there that I have informed of your coming, so be careful and listen to him,” she said.

Silva took a deep breath and walked into the portal, followed by the rest.
