Raze let himself rest for that full day, no visitors, no speaking to anyone. They all thought he was sleeping inside the locked room, well no, he wasn’t.

The entire time, he was inside the library catching up on everything that he hadn’t done in the last few days. He used his mana in the book again and now the background was about fifty percent done, he was still eager to find out what would happen when he was done.

And also, he started learning something new, Earth Magic. According to the novel, Earth possessed one of the greatest defenses, which should be a common fact. He had been putting off learning a new element for so long because he had been busy, but after the fight with Eliath, he realized that he desperately needed to up his magic and strength as a whole.

What shocked Raze was the fact that he had become so fast at learning. He managed to master the basic Earth manipulation in only a few hours and learned spells all the way to peak rank two in only a matter of hours as well.

It was a stupid speed level, but he loved it, and if this was the current speed he was at, he was excited to get into more and more stuff.

When Raze was about to leave the library for the day, after concluding everything that he had to do there for now, the librarian suddenly came down, a black book floating beside it.

When it arrived in front of Raze, the book floated over to him. He grabbed the book, curious about its contents, and then opened it. His eyes widened in shock when he read what was inside. It was an actual method that could work in the turning of abominations back to humans, detailed down to the lowest. It showed how the souls could be infiltrated and unravelled back to their original state.

Raze was stunned when he read a bit of it. He looked at the librarian, “How did you get this?” he asked.

It turned around and looked at all the shelves and books, some years Raze had never even touched because of just how massive the floor was.

“This is the dimensional library, the coming-to-be-there of all knowledge. You shouldn’t be struggling against an easy task.” It spoke in the same distorted voice.

“As far as I know, every issue you’ll face is solvable inside the first two floors of the library, just look.” It floated up and then flew away from him.

Raze stared at the book for a good while, his eyes lingering on the pages, “Have I been subconsciously limiting the library?” he asked himself. Sure, he had learned a ton of crazy stuff from the library, but had he been limiting what it could really do in his head?

He had to take out a ton of books to learn about abominations, when he could have easily had this. He wasn’t angry about the fact that he learned all that stuff, he was mad at the fact that he was possibly missing out on the best part of the librarian due to the fact that he was limiting it.

With this in mind, he decided to ask a few questions. “Librarian, I have a few requests to make,” Raze said with a grin plastered on his face. It flew down and looked at him.

“Your grin is always scary,” it said.

“Ack, even you?” he asked, acting like his heart was broken.

He looked around the library, and then asked, “Can you tell me exactly how many books or media of information or whatever is in the first two floors of the library?”

The librarian twisted its head to the side slightly, “What do you need the number for?”

“I just want to know,” Raze said.

[Second floor, 60,000,000]

The library spoke rather than the librarian and Raze instantly froze. His jaw dropped, seventy million in total? That was one word, outrageous. Even if he read all his life, he could never read it all.

He never thought the floors were so massive, and he was here ungrateful that he couldn’t reach higher floors.

“I see, so I have been underestimating the dimensional library. I forgot when it said it had infinite books it meant infinite.”

“Wait what? The number went up? I didn’t see any books added, or the library even change, what the hell is happening?” Raze asked, genuinely confused.

“More books of floor one knowledge have been gathered, and they have been put in the library. The dimensional library does not just go up infinitely, it goes sideways to add.

The reason you’re only seeing it go up is because that’s what your mind can easily accept. Each floor is constantly expanding, gathering more and more knowledge that fits the level of that floor.” The librarian explained.

“This is blowing my mind now,” Raze said. “So all the books I can see now, they aren’t all the floor has?”

“Exactly, yet you can’t see them all, but you can find whatever is available in the fifteen million that the floor has to offer. When your mind is capable enough, the library will allow you to see what you need to.” It added.

“I see, I’ll stop asking questions for now, I feel like my brain just got slammed. That being said, I have a question. Is there any book or something that I can use to ensure I can stay alive in dangerous situations, something that can be my trump card?

Also, I need help, maybe a book to clone myself and also summon some sort of help,” Raze said.

“There are, but the books you want are the type that you progressively have to read the contents of their newer volumes in higher floors when you get there. Wait a moment, and I’ll get them all for you.” It said, flew away and returned a bit later, holding three books, but it handed one to him first. It had a red star crystal on the back.

“This is called Azteck Script, Volume One. A hundred thick blank pages, each one will be bound to your life. When you die, a page will be filled with the information of how you died and burned away, allowing you to stay alive.

But you can no longer die in that exact way, or it won’t record for a second time. And when all hundred pages are used up, you’ll be held face to face with an ancient being known as Azteck to carry out the trial of life. Surviving allows you to gain a hundred more pages, and access to the second volume that unlocks a new realm of escaping death. Though it only applies to physical death and nothing more.” It added.
