Before the sisters could react, Li Ang continued, “This deal is fair and just. Were your dreams of the future merely two souls with nothing, spending their days in an illusory space? If that’s the case, why bother striving? Why not just get by with subsistence back then, and indulge in virtual entertainment? Save money, save resources, and live just as indulgently.”

“Easy for you to say. Did we even have that chance back then?”
