Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 450 Display

Kyle wore his heavy armor and jumped into the Deepwind.

As soon as he entered, he felt his body being rapidly pulled by the current.

After adapting to the speed and current, he simply drifted with the current.

Deepwind didn’t have any corrosive properties. The damage it caused came from pure force and friction.

As long as he went with the Deepwind, the damage was minimal.

Kyle had planned to escape in the Deepwind instead of simply digging through the stone because of the Winterfire Empire’s Transcendents.

There was a possibility that they were waiting around the World Peak, focusing on the ground to check for vibrations of digging.

Could they feel someone digging through the ground at a depth of almost 70 kilometers?

Probably not, but Kyle wanted to make sure.

As Kyle shot through the underground, he looked at the ceiling above him.

‘Reminds me of these crazy people that dive into a hole in a frozen lake and pop out in another hole. That shit is terrifying.’

“Everything alright?” Sebastian’s voice appeared in Kyle’s mind. Fresh chapters posted on nοvelfire.net

Kyle glanced at his shoulder.

At this moment, Sebastian was between two huge metal plates on Kyle’s back.

In essence, he had been integrated as a layer of Kyle’s armor.

“Yep,” Kyle transmitted back. “The current is pretty slow, and I don’t want to surface too soon. Might take us a couple of hours.”

“Okay, just tell me if anything is out of place,” Sebastian transmitted.

“Sure.”

Kyle was swept towards the east by the current.

From time to time, he had to redirect his trajectory since the Deepwind was pulling him downwards.

Luckily, the damage to his armor was almost non-existent since it was made of the perfect Rank S Materials.

While Kyle was being swept away, he also focused on understanding how Deepwind worked.

However, he quickly realized that there was no point in trying to understand it.

The way its Ether worked was chaotic, messy, and random.

Of course, there was an actual logic behind its workings, but the fact that it looked messy just meant that Kyle’s brain wasn’t fast enough to decipher it.

Well, maybe his brain was fast enough, but it would still take forever to understand it, and he had better things to look at.

First, he wanted to finish comprehending all of metal’s properties.

Then, he would take a look at wind.

After that, he would take a look at fire.

Finally, when he got to that point, he could maybe take a look at Deepwind.

For now, Deepwind had to wait. A couple of hours passed.

‘We should be beneath the Grand Ocean by now,’ Kyle thought. ‘Just a couple more minutes, and it should be safe to resurface.’

But then, Kyle noticed something.

The Ether in the direction in which he was going seemed very strange and chaotic.

As he focused on it, he realized a couple of things.

First of all, the Ether had a lot of heat. In fact, it was way hotter than magma.

Second, the Ether had a solid structure, which meant that something solid was there.

Third, there was no Wind, Fire, or Metal Ether there, which was quite surprising.

After all, this was still the domain of Deepwind, and Deepwind contained a lot of Wind Ether.

On top of that, something that was this hot should include some Fire Ether, but it didn’t.

“It’s going to get a bit hot now,” Kyle transmitted.

“What? Why?” Sebastian asked.

“I think I just found anti-water or anti-ice,” Kyle transmitted.

“Can’t you just go around it?” Sebastian asked.

“I could but… I kinda wanna look at it,” Kyle said.

Sebastian didn’t answer for a while.

“This is made of Rank S Materials, right?” he asked.

“Yep,” Kyle said. “It can withstand the heat. It will just get a bit hot.”

Sebastian sighed. “Fine.”

Kyle smiled and went to the hot spot.

As he got closer, he noticed something.

The hot thing in front of him had been giving off so much Ether that he hadn’t sensed what happened around it.

When Kyle got closer, he realized that the stone ceiling had vanished.

Instead, there was water.

It seemed like the Grand Ocean was quite deep.

Several bits of Ether created a colorful display as the Deepwind came into contact with the highly pressurized water of the deep ocean.

The water vanished as it hit the Deepwind, and lots of different kinds of Ether were released.

The Ether was swept forward, right at the hot object.

As soon as the Ether hit the hot object, it changed and stabilized.

It was now identical to the Ether of the hot object.

By now, the surroundings were getting incredibly hot, but the armor did a good job isolating everything.

When Kyle was just a kilometer away from the hot object, he came out of the Deepwind and entered the ocean.

His Ether Senses attuned to the new environment, and he could finally see everything clearly.

In front of him was a solid and gigantic mountain of ice.

It was almost a full kilometer tall and an unknown number of kilometers long.

Technically, it was not a mountain but just a huge sheet that was very thick.

The water that touched the sheet of ice immediately turned into steam and shot upward.

But then, the humongous pressure compressed it into a liquid again.

This created a powerful and chaotic current.

As Kyle looked upward, he saw another “ceiling”.

This was just regular ice.

“Should be safe for you,” Kyle transmitted as the metal on his back parted.

Sebastian came out, and as soon as he saw the display of Elements in front of him, his eyes widened.

A huge wall of purely white ice was in the middle.

A stream of black Deepwind entered the bottom of the sheet.

Colorful Ether appeared above the stream of Deepwind and entered the ice.

Water turned into steam, shot up, reached the sheet of actual ice, and turned liquid again.

Equations shot through Sebastian’s mind as he came up with a theory.

Yet, he was too stunned by the beautiful display to share it with Kyle right now.

For now, he just wanted to look at nature’s display.
