The space around Kyle and Swamp Dragon solidified again, and they found themselves in a building.

The ceiling of the room mimicked a beautiful night sky with several stars shining through the nebulae.

The walls were a dark blue and had several diagrams on them, including the diagram of the Array of Stars.

“Welcome to the Array of Stars, my lords,” someone said as they appeared in front of them.

When Kyle looked at the person who had appeared, he was a bit surprised.

It was a beautiful woman, but that was not the surprising thing.

The surprising thing was that she had the aura of a True Crusher.

And yet, she had called them lords.

Another interesting thing was her outfit.

She wore the uniform of the Array of Stars, which consisted of either a long dark blue dress or a dark blue shirt with dark blue pants.

However, instead of the symbol of the Array of Stars that every uniform had, the symbol on her uniform only had the outer three rings, making the symbol seem rather incomplete.

“Please,” Swamp Dragon said, “you are far more powerful than we are. We should be referring to you as senior. We are not your lords.”

The girl just smiled politely. “You should not refer to me as senior,” she said. “You are part of the Array of Stars. I am not. I’m merely acting as a guide, servant, and assistant.”

‘Ah, she’s a temp!’ Kyle thought. ‘Makes sense. Would be weird to dump administrative work onto the members.’

“Strength is absolute,” Swamp Dragon said. “As a stronger Seeker, you are worthy of our respect.”

“Swamp Dragon, you’re making things difficult for her,” Kyle said.

Swamp Dragon looked at Kyle with a raised brow.

How would being respectful make things difficult?

“She probably has orders to treat us with respect. Being polite is good and all, but if you keep referring to her as senior, her employer might reprimand her.”

Kyle looked at the woman. “That’s just an assumption. If that’s incorrect, feel free to correct me.”

The woman just smiled. “Upholding proper etiquette is part of my duties. Please, refer to me as Assistant.”

Swamp Dragon realized what was going on and sighed a bit.

His morals told him that he should respect a strong Seeker, but he also knew that paying too much respect might make things difficult for Assistant.

“Then, I must apologize for my rudeness and refer to you as Assistant from now on,” Swamp Dragon said.

“Thank you,” Assistant said with a polite smile. “Am I correct in assuming that the two lords just came from the Star Seeking?”

“Yep,” Kyle said casually.

Swamp Dragon nodded as well.

The woman took special note of how Kyle acted.

On Earth, Kyle’s conduct would have been very normal. Most people would talk very normally to a temp. Their wording and tone wouldn’t be different as if they were talking to a proper colleague. It was just basic respect and politeness.

Just another human earning a living.

But in this part of the Array of Stars, this kind of conduct was rare.

Most members were like Swamp Dragon. They saw a stronger Seeker and showed their respect.

Another big chunk of members would act distant and a bit superior when they heard of Assistant’s status. They wouldn’t be outwardly rude, but the way they looked at her and talked to her would just show a bit of dismissiveness.

“Then, I shall be your guide and show you around,” Assistant said.

“Thank you,” Swamp Dragon said, resisting the urge to call her senior.

To Swamp Dragon, it felt unnatural to refer to someone two Realms above him as Assistant.

It felt demeaning.

Assistant nodded and gestured to the door.

The three of them walked out of the hall, and while they walked through the hallway, Assistant introduced this branch of the Array of Stars.

“This branch is responsible for Searing Phoenix Galaxy. The Star Seeking you must have come from was also held for this Galaxy.”

Due to the way the Supreme World was built, galaxies in the traditional sense didn’t exist.

There were no huge gatherings of planets with lots of nothingness between them.

Everything was kind of evened out.

Because of that, Galaxies were not named after a certain constellation of planets but after whoever controlled them.

It was kind of like countries on Earth. While some borders of some countries also happened to overlap with natural barriers, most countries just had arbitrary borders. If one walked across the border, things wouldn’t seem very different unless they entered a town.

“Searing Phoenix Galaxy is named after the Searing Phoenix Immortal, who has established and conquered this Galaxy,” she continued explaining.

The three of them entered a random room while Assistant kept explaining.

The room only had a single machine in the middle of it.

The machine held up a complicated, shining sphere that showed several symbols.

“This machine is a complicated interface that grants you your status. You must interact with it as soon as possible after your arrival since you only have a temporary membership. Please keep in mind that this interface is directly connected to the Chief Overseer. The Chief Overseer is the lord who manages this entire branch.”

“How strong is the Chief Overseer?” Kyle asked.

“Every Chief Overseer is in the Universe Realm,” Assistant answered.

“We met someone very powerful in the Star Seeking,” Kyle said. “That person should have also been in the Tenth Realm. Was that the Chief Overseer?”

Assistant shook her head. “The Star Seeking is run by headquarters directly. As far as I am aware, the lords overseeing the Star Seeking are all in the Void Realm.”

Swamp Dragon’s eyes widened.

People in the Void Realm were considered powerful even in the Immortal Dimension.

“Please,” Assistant said, gesturing to the interface.

Kyle walked towards the interface without saying anything.

As he approached, his perception connected with the interface, and a humongous screen appeared in Kyle’s vision.

The next moment, writing appeared on the screen.

“Welcome to the Array of Stars, Meteor Hammer.”

“Please, verify your identity.”
