Chapter 1074: Vivian’s Familiars
Chapter 1074: Vivian’s Familiars
Vivian couldn’t help turning around in the middle of reading a paper. She found Nathan and Charlotte, but their expressions contrasted with each other.
Nathan looked exhausted, as though he had just experienced hell. On the other hand, Charlotte was smiling from ear to ear after Nathan sated her curiosity.
“You two… Don’t tell me, have you done it?” Vivian squinted her eyes. Although Charlotte had been calling Nathan ’Husband,’ she knew they hadn’t gone to that step.
But their expressions were something that would appear after that step. There was no way Vivian wouldn’t expect it. After all, she had seen this expression from Melissa multiple times.
Though, Charlotte was different from Melissa. Charlotte tilted her head, but her smile remained the same. “Should we, dear husband? I’ve forgotten that we should do it.”
“That would have been much easier than what you forced me to do earlier…” Nathan let out a long sigh. He helplessly shook his head and explained, “I was satisfying her curiosity, not whatever you’re thinking right now, Master.”
“Oh!” Vivian nodded in understanding. “So, why would you come here?”
“Actually, I’m here because of your specialty.”
“My specialty? Research?” Vivian frowned. “Are there any researches you are interested in?”
Charlotte was more adept than her in terms of research, so it would have been fine to just discuss it with Charlotte. That was why Vivian was slightly confused.
“No, he’s talking about your expertise regarding herbs.”
“Oh? Why though?” Vivian crossed her arms. She was still a bit skeptical because she didn’t know what Nathan wanted to do.
“Is it alright to discuss everything with you, Master? I’m planning to explain all my plans regarding my own domain that can accelerate time, meaning it will accelerate the growth of herbs.
“I remember that the world tree you gave me in the past came from your familiar…”
“Oh!” Vivian thought for a moment before summoning all her spirits.
“Mistress?” Alisha tilted her head in confusion. Even other spirits were confused as to why she summoned them at the same time. Vivian rarely did it unless it was something important or a battle.
But since Nathan was before them, they knew it wasn’t a battle.
“You have met him, but I haven’t really introduced all of you.” Vivian extended her hand. “How about a simple introduction? There’s something important to discuss, so…”
“I understand. If that’s the case, should I come first? You already know me, but let me reintroduce myself, Young Master.” Alisha smiled. “I am now a high elf thanks to you. My name is Alisha Veren Krinsk. I’ve been bestowed the name Krinsk upon my evolution to a high elf. I can do a lot of things, but now, my specialty is my bow.”
“Oh!” Nathan nodded with a smile, happy for her evolution as well.
Another high elf stepped forward. They had worked together in the past, though it was mostly because of Vivian’s request. But she had recognized Nathan from that time on that tropical island. Nathan was the only one who managed to dispel Dikkleus’ complex barrier in an instant.
She politely nodded to Nathan. “My name is Silvania Lei Vushne. Vushne is the name that was bestowed by the world tree upon my birth as a high elf. I can do magic and magic circles, but I’m more interested in puzzles such as barriers.”
“So, it’s my time?” The druid smiled. He placed his hand on his chest while bowing to Nathan. “Pleased to meet you, Young Master. I’m an ancient druid. My name is Ran. I have long abandoned my name and use the name ’Ran’ because I ’ran’ away from my own name. Hahahaha. I just love seeing the trees grow.”
“…” Nathan blinked a few times. He didn’t expect that this old man loved to joke around.
“It’s my time!” The dryad raised her hand. She was probably the most cheerful and carefree of them. “Me, Luxia! I can talk to the plants. That’s all!”
All of them then turned their heads to the last familiar. She was probably the strongest familiar among them. Even Charlotte had to be wary of her.
An emotionless woman politely nodded to Nathan. “I am an ancient spirit, specifically the spirit of the previous world tree. I don’t have a name, but the mistress usually calls me Neft.”
It was no wonder they were so polite to her. It turned out she was the spirit of the world tree.
Nathan nodded politely.
“So, what’s this all about, Mistress?” Alisha asked.
“You should ask him.” Vivian pointed at Nathan.
Nathan gulped. Now that everyone’s pressure was on him, Nathan had to word his project carefully since he definitely needed their help.
It felt like he was talking to an investor from the story he had read before. He stepped forward. “I’m planning to make a domain. Because it’s my domain, my time element will be the foundation of my domain. In other words, I want to accelerate and decelerate the time within my domain.
“The type of domain I’m looking for is the Composite Marble from the combination of Subspace Type Domain and Reality Integration Type Domain.
“I’m not sure if you already know about it, but this domain will be similar to the current Land of Death. There are two purposes I have in mind.
“The deceleration-type subspace will be perfect for training or maybe absorbing the ena from cores. The acceleration-type subspace will be used to grow herbs.
“My understanding of herbs is lacking. I believe herbs will be more potent as they increase in age. Hence, this will be beneficial to the herbs.
“However, I want to consult all of you to see how I should proceed with my domain.
“For the time being, I have an innate ability. That innate ability will become the pillar of my domain.
“In other words, my soul contract will become a title deed from the world itself. In other words, this is private property that is bought directly from the world. And I should have certain freedom in manipulating this domain.”
