Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2026: The Universe is not a Child.

“Father!”

Aeliana quickly hugged her now, once again young Father as tightly as she could. Azriel hugged her back with a light smile on his face, constantly patting her back to calm her racing heart.

“Why didn’t you say anything…?”

Aeliana, who was finally in her father’s embrace again, cried.

Azriel opened his mouth but no words came out. There were too many things in his mind. Nux hadn’t returned for five thousand years and honestly, Azriel had assumed the worst. His daughter was already devastated and he wasn’t brave enough to share his own situation with her.

Yes, it was an extremely selfish decision, but Azriel couldn’t do anything. He couldn’t let his daughter suffer more than she already had.

Nux understood that feeling. This was also the reason he stayed silent; he just stared at Azriel, who, after a while, stared back at him, and the two nodded at each other.

“You sure caused a scene.”

Azriel spoke up. Nux, however, stared at Aeliana who was still hugging her father and,

“I doubt you get to say that.”

“…”

Azriel couldn’t retort.

The two laughed a little and then,

“Thank you.”

Azriel expressed his gratitude.

No matter what, the fact remained that Nux saved him.

“I guess we are even now?”

Nux smiled.

Azriel saved him once when he appeared in front of the Supreme Infinities who were trying to look when he devoured a world for the first time.

That act saved his life and now, he was even.

“I won’t help you again, Father-in-Law.”

“Likewise.”

Azriel nodded arrogantly.

With his dependency on the Universe now over, his path ahead would be quite simpler. He was the first man who formed a Law that shouldn’t exist in any way since the Universe just didn’t allow its formation.

Azriel wanted to see how far it took him.

Nux wasn’t any different either; he was quite curious as to how strong his Father-in-Law would be once he became a Primordial.

Yes, even now, he was looking forward to their spar, just that deep inside, he knew even if Azriel became a Primordial, the two of them could never fight simply because the Universe would then sense his presence and act.

‘I will still win though.’

Nux thought inwardly as he stared at his Father-in-Law.

He then chuckled and shook his head; even now, his mind was constantly thinking of ways to somehow comprehend his Father-in-Law’s Law.

“I heard you formed your own Time.”

While Nux was thinking all this, Azriel questioned.

“I did. Different Universes have different Time, so—”

“So your Universe needed its own Unique Time, I understand.”

Azriel nodded, making Nux frown.

This… wasn’t something just anyone would know…

Knowing what he was thinking, Azriel laughed lightly,

“I have closely inspected our Universe for thousands of years now. I may not know much about other Universes, but if it is about this Universe, I do know quite a bit.

How else do you think I formed my Law?”

“A Law to be completely independent of any Cultivation Bridge, huh…”

Nux muttered.

Just thinking of being able to follow any Cultivation System without any hindrances or bottlenecks at all…

It was… quite liberating.

Azriel smiled.

“So? What’s next?”

The Vampire questioned.

“You already got Time, what’s left?”

“Light, Darkness, Balance, Chaos.”

Nux answered instantly and a wry smile appeared on Azriel’s face.

“So the Energies of the Four Supreme Energies, huh…”

“Indeed. I have tried to look for them in other Worlds, from the Lowest Level to Middle-Level Worlds, but no being has formed a Law related to these Energies.”

“That’s not true.”

Azriel shook his head.

“There were beings who formed Laws related to these energies. The Supreme Worlds just recruited those people and their families, something they accepted readily.”

Since he was connected to the Universe, the amount of things he knew was quite a lot as well.

“So every single person accepted that offer?”

“Not really. Just that those who didn’t were erased.”

Azriel shrugged.

Nux nodded casually as well.

Azriel then stared into his son-in-law’s eyes and,

“I will still say not to go against the Supreme Worlds right now, especially now more than ever.”

“Hmm? What does that mean?”

Nux frowned.

“The Four Supreme Worlds have formed an alliance.”

“Huh…?”

Nux blinked.

“They formed an alliance? Why?”

“To find the Universe’s Child.”

Azriel smiled wryly.

“For thousands of years, they have been doubting each other, but since the Universe wanted to get rid of me, it shared that the Anomaly is someone out of the Four existing Supreme Worlds and is still growing stronger.

So those people are out to hunt down the Universe’s Child.”

“Why would the Universe do that?”

“To get rid of me, of course.

I had turned into a deadweight, remember? Anomaly was gone, I had no more use and waiting for me to perish on my own was a pain, so it decided to use them.”

“Then how are you still alive?”

“Because the Universe was hiding me.”

Azriel laughed.

“Huh?”

Nux frowned; he had absolutely no clue what his Father-in-Law was talking about, and Azriel knew that.

“We cannot tell what the Universe is thinking. I have been trying to understand it for thousands of years and I have failed.”

“I thought the Universe was childish.”

Nux muttered, and Azriel shook his head.

“It is not childish, it’s just…

Its perception is different than ours. If it was a child, then one of the Four Supreme Worlds would have taken over the entire Universe by now.

A child, no matter how strong, cannot remain in existence for trillions of years.”

The Vampire spoke with a solemn look on his face.

Then, he glanced at Nux and returned to the topic,

“Anyways, what I am saying is, be careful of the Supreme Worlds; right now, they are at their strongest.”

“Don’t worry, I will first target Chaos.”

Nux answered.

Azriel, who already knew who Nux was talking about, answered.

“It won’t be easy; even the Universe cannot detect him.”

Nux, however, just grinned menacingly.

“That’s the fun part. I don’t need to detect him. I already know where that man is.”

Azriel stared at Nux for a moment, then, he nodded.

“I wish you luck.”

“Thank you.”

Nux’s grin widened.

“I will see you soon, Father-in-Law.”

He spoke as he bowed his head, then, with a wave of his hand, he disappeared and appeared in front of a Middle-Level World.

It was now time to join the War and this time, they weren’t just going to join it.

They were going to flip it over and over again.

It was time for the entire Universe to know about the Leander Family.
