Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2153 No leads.

Chapter 2153  No leads.

“One woman is missing.”

Serion’s expression changed at that report; he turned towards the being who reported, wanting to ask more,

“Wh—”

However, before he could complete his question—

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

Their surroundings shook again.

It started with the skies roaring in anger, almost as if they would fall apart. For a moment, the people frowned, confused as to what happened, but then,

The ground shook with a rumble, as if it was about to crack open.

An effect that every single one of them felt.

The Light Borns froze and stared at each other in shock; even Serion was no exception.

“Again…?”

One of them narrowed their eyes, finally breaking their silence.

“…”

Serion spread his wings wide in silence, balancing his body as the world around him trembled. Unlike others, he didn’t react as strongly; his mind had already started speculating different reasons as to why it was happening.

“The Universe! It is reacting again!”

“Again!? What is happening!?”

“This is—”

As panic began to spread and the rest of the people began to realize what was happening, one hundred and twenty-one radiant ‘Divine Towers’ that were spread all over Gracevale swayed gently, and enormous golden sigils buried across the city lit up one by one.

The ground beneath every building began to glow with sacred runes. Massive pillars of light shot upward, connecting sky and earth.

The defensive Artifacts of Gracevale—the creations given directly by the Supreme World of Light—had awakened on their own and, in an instant—

WHOOOOOOM

From every corner of the world, waves of holy energy erupted, turning into a silent, suppressing wave that spread all over Gracevale, and—

The trembling stopped instantly, and the rumbling skies turned silent.

Even though the Universe outside was still trembling in anger, Gracevale, in less than a second, had calmed down to the point that people who weren’t sensitive enough wouldn’t even realize that something had happened.

Of course, this wasn’t the first time it had happened; the Universe had reacted many times in the past few years, and the defensive system had activated every single time. The people had pretty much gotten used to this sight.

But not today.

Today, the Universe’s reaction had an effect on Gracevale.

The entire place, especially the Hall where the Light Borns were gathered, was deathly silent.

The people looked up, trembling, still kneeling on the ground. The Light Borns landed one by one, their wings folding softly.

And with a grim look on his face, Serion turned towards one of the Light Borns standing beside him and—

“Find out what happened.”

The other Light Born didn’t waste time responding either; he quickly took out the artifact he used to contact his subordinates and asked for a report.

Within three seconds, the answer came.

An answer that lightened the Light Born’s heavy expression.

“A Lowest Level World named Greenmarch has disappeared. It is not a big deal.”

He reported.

While someone at their level knew how the disappearance of a World—no matter what level—decreased the total amount of Energy in the Universe and ultimately weakened it, in the end, it was the Universe’s problem, not theirs.

If anything, more than thinking about how the Universe was affected by it, the Light Borns were angered by the fact that while they were investigating the enemy here, he was targeting some other world far away that had nothing to do with it.

It was clear that the enemy was trying to mock them, and the Light Borns, who had never once felt that way in their long lives—they were enraged.

Of course, not every Light Born thought the same, especially when one of them heard the name of the World that was devoured.

“Greenmarch?”

He asked.

Everyone turned towards him, and the Light Born who gathered the information nodded,

“Yes, it is a Lowest Level World in the Fercry Sector.”

Seeing the Light Born’s expression, Serion frowned.

“Do you know about this world?”

He asked a strange question. How could a Light Born know about a mere Lowest Level World? Even his subordinates wouldn’t look into such worlds.

But shockingly—

The Light Born nodded.

“The missing woman I mentioned before—”

He began. Serion nodded, remembering their conversation that happened just before the rumbling began,

“She comes from Greenmarch.”

He reported with a grim look on his face, and the rest of the Light Borns had the same expression as him.

“Are you saying that the only lead we had is now gone…?”

Serion questioned with a solemn look on his face, and the Light Born nodded, the grim look on his face not fading away.

“Do we have any other leads?”

Serion questioned as he looked around, but…

No one said anything.

“I had planned to find the woman or investigate the world she came from.”

The Light Born shook his head.

“What if we investigate the worlds Greenmarch had relationships with? It doesn’t matter how strong or weak the relationship is; I am sure we will get something out of it.”

Another Light Born raised her voice, suggesting a way forward.

Serion looked at her and—

“I will leave that to you. I need an answer within an hour.”

The woman nodded and disappeared without saying anything.

Serion then turned towards the rest,

“Anything else?”

He questioned, wanting a solution to the problem.

“I will investigate all of them again.”

One suggested.

Serion nodded, giving permission. A few more suggested other things, and Serion permitted them all. He knew every single one of them was capable; as long as there was even the slightest lead, they would follow it till they got to the very end of it and got something out of it.

Just that…

They couldn’t find anything.

Even after half an hour had passed, no one found anything. The enemy had left no trace at all; it felt like they were looking for an enemy that did not exist.

And the worst part?

Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz

The Supreme World of Light was now contacting Serion—

The Light Infinity wanted to know what he found.
