"What’s going on?"

The people were gathering at the Demon Banner Army’s headquarters, not just the soldiers but also the citizens.

They were all confused as to what this summon was all about.

"But judging that platform... don’t you think it will be an execution or something?"

It was rare for them to be seen together. In fact, a lot of other captains were seen in the vicinity.

The gate was opened, the creaking sound grabbing people’s attention.

Four people were coming out. The first one was definitely Oscar. As the commander of the Demon Banner Army, he would definitely show up for this kind of important matter.

People would usually cheer for him, but this time, no one could open their mouths.

After all, they were horrified by the appearance of the second person. That person was none other than Josephine.

The Space Arbiter Josephine was well known in the kingdom due to her unique ability. And they never thought they would see her getting dragged.

Her hands were cuffed and her eyes seemed to be losing their light. The one dragging the chain attached to her cuff was the Demon Adjudicator Squad Captain Milfa.

Once they climbed the platform, Milfa forced Josephine to kneel. Squart kept an eye on people so that no one would rescue her, while Shale readied his blade.

Oscar straightened his back and announced out loud. "This is the Space Arbiter Josephine. She-"

Before he could start, a voice suddenly interrupted him.

"Wait a moment."

The people turned around to see who actually dared to stop Oscar. And it turned out to be the marshal of the kingdom, Conrad.

"What is the kingdom’s marshal doing here? Are you trying to take this traitor back?" Oscar squinted his eyes.

Conrad calmly took out the scroll and opened it for everyone to see. "This is the decree from Her Majesty Wendy Ve Lenveth."

When they heard Conrad mention ’Decree,’ the people hurriedly kneeled, except for the people on the platform. They couldn’t afford to make any mistakes and let Josephine go, even if it meant disobeying the royal decree.

Conrad understood this as well and immediately continued, "Josephine Brown, the Space Arbiter, had aided the current host of the demon king while fully aware of his identity. She had also become a part of the notorious criminal organization, the Supreme Devil Organization.

"She had slaughtered innocent people and threatened national security. As such, she will be stripped of all her titles and power and be executed.

"I shall entrust the execution to the Demon Banner Army, the guardian of the kingdom."

"!!!" The people were stupefied after hearing the royal decree.

The royal family should have known this from the beginning, but why did they never do anything to her?

Did they want to avoid the fact of smearing their reputation?

"!!!" Oscar’s body shook. He paused for a moment before nodding his head. "You may, Marshal Conrad. Please show our VIP the seat he deserved."
