Chapter 1165: Death Smiles At Us All [Part 2]

Korrin forcefully turned around to look at Zapar, whose head was slowly regenerating at an incredibly fast rate.

Even the bloody hole in his chest had closed up completely, shocking her silly.

“You… I killed you!” Korrin shouted as she struggled to break free from the man’s grasp. To her misfortune, she couldn’t muster any strength in her body.

“No, you didn’t,” Zapar answered. “You just stabbed my chest and destroyed my head. Well, I can understand that doing that is enough to kill other Majin Princes like me. However, I am different from them.”

The Majin Prince then crouched down to whisper something in Korrin’s ear.

“You see, my brain and heart are not located in my head and chest,” Zapar whispered. “In short, you have been tricked.”

Korrin gritted her teeth as she tried to move her weapon. But, no matter how much force she tried to muster, it would disperse as if everything she had done just now was all a lie.

“It’s no use, My Lady,” Zapar said. “You are indeed strong, but you still lost to me. Do you know why?”

“Why?” Korrin growled. “What did you do to me?”

“Oh, nothing much,” Zapar smiled. “You just inhaled the special pheromone that my body is releasing.”

Zapar didn’t mention that he had followed Zion’s advice and spread his pheromones across the land where they were currently fighting a few days before their battle started.

With Athena monitoring the movements of the Artemian Army, it was very easy for the teenage boy to infer the exact place where their battle would commence.

As such, with the help of Zion’s rune magic, Zapar had spread his pheromone across the land.

Now that he had activated it in full, any woman whom he targeted would lose their strength for a brief moment.

And that moment was enough for Zapar to finish his goal.

With a resounding click, the Majin Prince had placed a slave collar on Korrin’s neck, making the latter cry out in pain as the inscription on the collar activated, putting her under Zapar’s direct control.

“At last, the item I took from the Treasury of the Apocalypse has been put to good use,” Zapar smirked before tossing the unconscious lady to the purple portal that he had summoned just now.

The Majin Prince then glanced in the direction where Zion stood before waving his hand.

Zion nodded in understanding and watched the Majin Prince retreat from the battlefield in haste.

Although he made it look like he was in complete control of the fight against Korrin, the truth was that he was also at his limit.

What he said earlier was the truth.

His heart and brain weren’t located in his chest.

But only because he had forcibly relocated them at the last moment.

This was one of his bloodline abilities, which was also his life-saving secret.

Although it might seem that he could once again join the battle, the truth was that Zapar’s strength had temporarily fallen to that of a Rank 7 Sovereign.

He had to sacrifice his strength a bit to make Korrin fall under his control, giving him enough time to attach the slave collar at her neck.

Zapar’s rank would recover after a few days, but until then, he needed to leave the battlefield, so he could return to the Domain of the Apocalypse safely.

The portal he opened a while ago could only allow one person to cross over it, which was a special privilege he asked Metatron to approve.

Usually, it was impossible to create a portal that led to the Domain of the Apocalypse when in a state of battle.

But Metatron made an exception because Zapar explained his plan properly.

The Majin Prince even said that the God of the Apocalypse shouldn’t play favoritism, like it was doing to Zion, which made Metatron chuckle and agree to his request.

Zapar didn’t dare to drag Korrin’s body as he retreated, knowing that if the other Archons tried to save her, it might also lead to his death.

So tossing her to the Domain of the Apocalypse was the best move he could do, allowing Zapar to escape on his own.

The other Archons noticed what happened, but instead of attacking Zapar, they stayed where they were while feeling anxious at the possibility of him hiding to later launch a sneak attack in their direction.

Of course, they didn’t know that the person who defeated the lady, whom they considered as a genius, was now in a very vulnerable state.

In fact, even Zion could easily kill Zapar now if he wanted to!

But they were now allies, and he had even given the Majin Prince enough benefits for the latter to jump to his ship.

“Take him to safety,” Thirteen ordered Zed, who was fighting near Zion in order to protect his Master if he were to face danger.

“Understood.” Zed replied and flew in Zapar’s direction, picking up the Majin Prince and flying as fast as he could away from the battlefield.

While Thirteen observed his surroundings, he noticed Erica, Sherry, and Princess Aracelle fighting side by side.

He had asked his three lovers to support and keep each other safe as they fought together.

Giga, Blacky, Hercules, the Ogres, and the Trolls were also fighting near the girls, knowing their importance to Thirteen.

“This might be too exciting for me, Master,” Poca said from Thirteen’s shoulder.

“Indeed,” Pico commented. “Just being here gives me the chills.”

The two Pocopocos wanted to see how the war would develop, but instead of watching from a safe distance, they decided to stay with Zion.

For them, anywhere close to Zion was the safest place on the battlefield.

The Umbrafang, Harahon, was fighting nearby, alongside its subordinate Feral Monkeys.

The Grievefoot, Khan, alongside the Goblin Emperor, Lord Zorca, were acting as Zion’s bodyguards.

Both were Rank 8 Sovereigns, with Khan being able to boost its strength to temporarily become a Rank 9 Sovereign during emergencies.

As long as no Archons came to fight against Zion, he was in good hands.

Tiona was in snake form right now, but the moment she transformed, she would have the strength of a Throne.

Most importantly, she was also nearly-immortal. Even if she died in battle, Thirteen would be able to summon her once more using the Banner of the Parade of a Hundred Demons.

The teenage boy was currently paying close attention to the battlefield, looking for an opportunity to tilt the battle in their favor.

But just as he was thinking on who to support, a pained roar reached his ears.

In the distance, Prince Aurelion had transformed into a giant golden dragon. However, his golden blood was oozing from his shoulder area, nearly severed by his enemy.

If not for the fact that he had transformed to disorient and send his opponent flying, he might have already lost his left shoulder from the deadly clash half a minute ago.

“Dive, Rocky,” Thirteen ordered. “We will support Prince Aurelion.”

Rocky didn’t hesitate to follow its master’s order and dug without a second thought.

Khan and Lord Zorca both moved in the direction of the Dragonkin Prince, following Zion’s orders to assist the other party in battle.

They couldn’t afford to lose any of their Pillars. If the Prince died, the deadly, delicate balance of the battlefield would immediately shift in the Artemian’s favor.
