Chapter 204: The Fall of the Nocturne Galaxy

Chapter 204: The Fall of the Nocturne Galaxy

In the endless verse of cultivation… on the shadowed road of power…

Revenge it was considered a sacred rite.

Forged in the crucible of betrayal’s flame, where each ember whispers the name of the betrayer in tongues of smoke and ash.

It is not the swift slash of fury’s blade, but the slow, savoring twist, letting the wounds bleed…

Like wine from a broken chalice, dark and rich, staining everything it touches forever.

Memorable as the scar that lingers long after the storm, etched in the flesh of time, a testament to the hunter who became the altar, and the prey who fed the gods of retribution.

To wield it is to dance with eternity’s echo… where justice is not blind—no, it sees all.

And forgets nothing…

—-

It didn’t take long for Ash and Raven to reach the next world… Raven had initially thought they would simply destroy the Galaxy but after Ash mentioned Revenge 101… something entirely different came to light… or would it be better to say drenched in darkness?

Anyway, as the two sat outside their next target world they chatted and the words were heard by each viewer.

“As I was saying, my love… there’s no point in wiping them out so easily—unless, of course, it’s done in epic fashion,” Ash remarked, still drenched in blood.

He could have cleaned himself up in an instant, but it was perfect for sending the message he intended—thick crimson streaks drying against his alabaster skin, the metallic scent hanging in the air like a warning.

“If not… then each and every soul under the banner of the Nocturne… they must die, they must reap the consequences of their leaders.” Ash said and Raven smiled in hearing this.

“Revenge 101, huh?” As she said this, they entered into the world.

This world was not chosen at random… but by Raven’s very own hands.

And, it was the second world the Nocturnes had ever claimed.

One filled with nothing but Branch Clans of Nocturne Vampires…The moment Raven descended from Ash the orb followed her similar to Ash.

And all of those watching could see a sort of switch flip. Before they could see a beauty stemming with emotions as she watched her lover slaughter werewolves and how they laughed while they walked the void…

Now, though?

One could see no emotions, nothing even remotely resembling emotion. It was as if she had become hollow to any and everything.

And, they were right… To Raven, Ash was the only tether to feeling, emotions, love and anything else. Through him, she was able to feel and be like a normal existence.

But she was not normal… No, she was Hollowness itself… the Primavus Hollow Eclipse.

She floated just barely above a city that was filled with Vampires. She couldn’t be seen nor perceived currently, as she entered a complete state of hollowness. However, as she unmasked her presence, she activated a skill.

Unlike Ash who stood at the Peak of this Dimension, she was still in the Calamity rank meaning she couldn’t outright slaughter these people… not without a little extra assistance.

|Eclipse Nothing-Weave (???)|

The moment the skill activated invisible threads spread all over the city… Her mana sense which had grown along with her evolution allowed her to cover 80 million KM, not nearly enough to cover even half of the city.

However, she wouldn’t be stationary one bit…

As the threads found the targets of anyone who held power beyond Raven… they found it becoming Hollow… a state where the ranks held no substance…

It was like they had become sealed, but it was far beyond that.

And all of that power temporarily funneled into Raven as her rank exploded through from Calamity all the way to Early Cosmic Overlord.

[A/N: She just wields the pure power of one along with the durability.]

The moment this happened she moved; she was not one to use weapons as she had always been a hand-to-hand fighter. So, as she walked down the streets ever so casually…

She began to whistle and the first person she saw… It was the start of her own lesson.

CRACK!

She cracked a man’s skull with one firm grip. The moment she felt it crumble she continued to squeeze more and more… a cracked skull was nowhere near enough to kill a cultivator, hollowed or not.

So as she exerted more power… the man’s head exploded like a watermelon with blood and brains spraying onto Raven. As the blood splattered onto her face, the Nosferatu essence stirred a bit as she licked her lips…

“Cough! Ew, how disgusting…” She said before slinging the man’s corpse at speeds that looked blinding to the naked eye.

BOOOOM!!!!

Mid travel she encased the corpse with the Concept of Blood and Void, turning him into a weapon… His body crashed into a crowd of women and children instantly reducing them into a bloody mist. Raven didn’t stop at all; no she went from person to person… building to building… slaughtering vampires.

Ripping heads from shoulders, punching through hearts, hot crimson spraying across stone walls, tearing out eyes that left sockets weeping blood… She felt no remorse for anyone—man, woman, beast, child, or elder.

Anyone caught in her sights fell instantly—bodies collapsing in piles, streets awash with rivers of blood mirroring the deep red sky overhead.

Ash watched in delight from the skies as he heard Elysia’s voice.

[Master, I have finished gaining the knowledge and Laws of this Galaxy… and there’s an issue.]

Elysia said as she still hadn’t told him about the current state of his Lovers… it was for a few reasons, but the main one was that they were safe already.

’What could that be?’ He asked

[On the main world of the Nocturne Clan… Katherine and Summer, they had been imprisoned for the last two years. Not only that they experienced cruelty like no other…] She muttered in a low tone and just as she began to detail everything they went through, Ash’s eyes were becoming dark… almost hollow.

“FUCK!”

He roared so loud that the very skies of this world exploded like crimson glass—shards raining down in glittering, deadly rain as the sound wave alone pulverized distant spires into dust.

He wouldn’t lie… he had forgotten about those two women. He never had plans to make them his lovers, but he did plan to treat them as such.

No woman he’d touched would be treated unfairly… However, with the death of Raven back then… he lost sight of too much.

And those two were victims of that…

Not that it could be any excuse, but it was the truth of the matter.

On the broadcast everyone could hear his roar, but until this world came down to its destruction he didn’t move…

—-

Once Raven returned back to his side with a blank look covered in blood she frowned… She heard his roar loud and clear too and she could clearly see something was wrong…

Then through her sub nexus, Elysia sent a message.

[Don’t ask… just go along with the flow.]

Raven’s brow arched but she didn’t speak.

Ash immediately grabbed the Orb and looked right into it… It was as if he was looking at one person in specific and that person himself felt his very soul shudder.

“VESPER NOCTURNE, YOU’RE DONE!” He said before the two immediately disappeared.

Upon appearing they were in the midst of a world cluster…

It was many worlds in very close proximity of each other. As they stood here the orbs began to multiply by the millions and each disappeared leaving the original one.

Ash’s mana sense spread until the entire Galaxy was covered.

The moment that happened he manifested… a bat.

Yeah, a bat… because even though he was furious beyond anything before, he still had a lesson to teach. Vesper Nocturne… there was no running or hiding for him, no matter how hard he tried. So, the next step was displaying out how to destroy worlds in the most entertaining way.

He appeared right outside the world and the bat that didn’t seem any special at all…

He gripped it and took one swing.

BOOOM!!!!

The entire world was sent flying as if it was a baseball. However, the neat thing about this bat was that it was connected to the Concept of Endings. So, as it crashed into another world close by, it began to decay…

Then the second world was sent crashing to the next… until each and every world in this cluster were crashing back and forth into one another… with each crash spreading endings faster and faster.

It truly looked like a pinball machine…

Then Ash went a step further as all the billions of orbs that vanished were each positioned at Star systems, Clusters, Worlds and other things in the Galaxy. Each one showed minor broadcast on the screen of the largest one.

He then tapped into the power he gained recently.

The power to treat existence itself like a blank canvas… So, over his mana sense range… Which was the entire Galaxy he forced every world, star, and any celestial body to move like they were in a pin ball machine.

BOOOM!

BOOOOM!

BOOOM!

It was truly a sight to behold—worlds colliding in cataclysmic explosions of fire and dust, stars flung like marbles into black holes that swallowed them whole, galaxies fracturing into glittering debris that rained across the void in endless, chaotic symphony.

However, despite all this, Ash could no longer take pleasure in his revenge or the lesson.

His expression stayed cold as he watched the galaxy crumble, with one specific world left untouched….
