Chapter 210: Abyssal Lords - Map of Existence

Chapter 210: Abyssal Lords – Map of Existence

While the Conquest of the Erebus Galaxy had commenced, Ash, Kaelthyr and Celeste… they all had been wandering in the Abyss.

Yes, wandering is the appropriate word to use because up until now they had found nothing, seen nothing aside from frozen souls… and heard nothing at all.

The frozen lake stretched endlessly in every direction, its surface a flawless mirror of pale ice that reflected the cracked obsidian sky above, the air so still and cold it seemed to press against the skin like an unyielding weight

After six hours of flying, they still hadn’t come across anything, no matter how far they went. This left Kaelthyr feeling a bit grumpy—for more than a few reasons.

One must not forget that he himself was a transmigrator from Earth, from a much earlier time than Ash. Still, he was familiar with novels and similar things. By now, he was almost certain Ash was also a transmigrator—just a completely broken one.

And secondly… he had a hunch Ash could make all of this far more efficient.

Why?

Well, everything he’d witnessed from his disciple pointed that way—from conjuring all sorts of absurd things out of thin air to having thousands of divine artifacts hovering behind him in some hidden realm.

It was all just too ridiculous.

Yet…

’He flirts all the damn time!’ Kaelthyr grumbled inwardly, glancing back at Ash and Celeste.

Ash drifted close, his arm resting loosely around her waist as he leaned in, his layered voice soft and playful.

“You know, Celeste, I think a necklace spun from pure constellations would look perfect on you.”

He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear, fingers lingering just a moment too long, drawing a soft blush across her cheeks as she glanced away, trying—and failing—to hide a smile.

[Host, why don’t you just ask your disciple for help?] His system buzzed, drawing his attention.

He sighed before speaking.

“Brat… are you going to spend the whole day with your woman?” he asked, turning around and flying backward.

Celeste flushed and hastily put some distance between herself and Ash.

“I-I’m not his woman!” she snapped, shooting a glare at the vampire, who merely rolled his eyes.

“Oh, so you finally decided to ask me?” Ash drawled, his attention never leaving Celeste.

This whole trip had been Kaelthyr’s idea from the start, and he was just along for the ride, ready to claim any benefits that might come his way.

Kaelthyr’s lip twitched.

“This is what I’m talking about!” he said, shaking his head.

“I’m your master—the least you can do is show some respect, brat.”

Ash just shook his head. Instead of replying, he activated the Stellar Adaptor, tuning it to detect any beings in this realm… and the first soul.

[Stellar Adaptor Results:

First Soul – Location: Deepest Core of the Frozen Lake (Sealed in Eternal Stasis)

Abyssal Lords – The Hollow Monarch & The Womb of Refusal – Location: Central Fracture Zone)

Egg of Kyron (Second Disciple Candidate) – Location: Central Fracture Zone]

After glancing over the information, Ash raised an eyebrow, but before he could respond, Elysia appeared again.

[Hehe, Master! We did it!] Her voice was so full of excitement it was easy to imagine her bouncing with joy. Ash just shook his head, smiling.

[Before we get to the good stuff… That First Soul is still pretty impressive. While it’s useless to you, it will push your master closer to becoming the epitome of Darkness. Meanwhile, those two Abyssal lords have been locked in combat for the last millennium.

The reason? That egg… He’s the first of his kind—not a progenitor, but a subrace. The Abyssal Wraithborn, born from the collective resentment, rage, hatred, despair, and unfulfilled vengeance of every soul trapped in the Abyss.]

Hearing all this, Ash nearly got a headache.

“Jeez, not so much yapping at once,” he teased before speaking to Kaelthyr… and somehow, in the midst of it all, Celeste had ended up back in his arms.

“Well, that first soul is at the deepest core of this frozen lake while your precious disciple is being fought over by two Abyssal Lords… that way” Ash said pointing towards the opposite direction of them.

“Two abyssal lords?” Kaelthyr waved off with a scoff.

“We’ll make this light work.” He said as he began to move towards them first.

Ash laughed hearing that.

“Haha, no, we’re not doing anything,” Ash said, enjoying teasing Kaelthyr. Seeing the man so irritated was just too amusing. It was the least he could do, considering Kaelthyr was treating him like some kind of golden finger.

“You can try handling them yourself. If things get ugly, I’ll lend a hand,” he added, before he and Celeste flew past Kaelthyr, who stood there looking utterly baffled.

“Besides, while you’re at it, I’ll make sure to retrieve that soul for you.”

As they took off to catch the fight between the Abyssal Lords, Kaelthyr frowned and hurried after them.

“Damned brat!”

On their way toward the Abyssal Lords, Elysia chatted with Ash.

[Alright, Master, we now possess complete knowledge of the entire Lower Dimension,] she said, her tone betraying her emotions.

’The complete knowledge?’ Ash asked, clearly surprised. He knew they were in a place connected to the whole lower dimension but never imagined he would gain so much information.

[Correct… aside from a few details I’ll cover shortly. Still, we now have the full historical record of everything in the lower dimension—every event, war, civilization… literally everything.]

She went on to describe what they had gained, and it was a lot for Ash to process.

His worldview shifted once again as he came to understand just how immense the Lower Dimension truly was. Elysia had obtained something called the ’Map of Existence,’ which revealed the exact locations of every universe, galaxy, hidden plane, and even forbidden zone.

Through this, he learned that the Lower Dimension was essentially the home where all universes resided.

As she absorbed this knowledge, she once again used Conceptual Sight—a means of instantly grasping laws, concepts, and more.

But this time, it came directly from the Abyss itself, containing concepts that didn’t exist in Galaxies or even Universes.

She also gained a few other things, like the complete record of every soul that had ever belonged to the lower dimension. This was something she hadn’t expected at all… maybe it was because of the Abyss?

Despite everything she had acquired, there was still the limitation that she couldn’t instantly access all this knowledge.

Instead, she had to search for specific things—similar to the Stellar Adaptor.

For example, if she wanted to know about the first war, she would need to specifically look for the First War of a particular place, whether it be a galaxy, universe, or even just a single world.

[I can’t see anything about your previous incarnations… it’s like they never existed.] she said, though she didn’t find it strange at all, given that the person in question was the beginning of everything.

’Makes sense… but to think we’ve gained so much,’ Ash said, since everything Elysia gained, he gained too, and vice versa.

[Right, and it’s time we make a change soon.]

’What kind of change?’

[Make me your brain—literally. Your current brain is far too inefficient. With me as your mind, you’d have direct access to everything I know.]

Ash paused to consider it. It was something he’d come across before.

’Alright, let’s do it… but let’s wait until seclusion.’
