Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 254: The World of Nara (2)

Chapter 254: The World of Nara (2)

After hours of gliding through Nara’s blood-red skies—where crimson clouds twisted with the faint echo of distant war cries and the continents below lay scarred by ceaseless conflict—Nia and Katherine began their descent toward the grand palace of the Narakava Asuras.

The palace rose like a massive fortress of jagged obsidian and crimson steel, its spires clawing at the heavens like vengeful talons.

The walls were etched with runes of unending fury, glowing with the raw essence of battle lust, pulsing like living veins beneath the crimson haze.

Up ahead, massive gates of bone-forged adamantine loomed—towering slabs etched with the skulls of fallen enemies, still dripping faint spectral ichor—guarded by a dozen towering Asuras.

They resembled small giants, their pale skin marred by black, rage-twisted veins bulging like living ropes, and void-black eyes with tiny red pupils glinting with a wild, ravenous hunger.

They wore spiked armor slick with fresh blood from their latest victims, the metallic tang thick in the scorching wind.

As the two women landed before the gates—Nia’s multicolored flame-wings folding with a soft, ominous rustle that sent embers scattering across the ground, Katherine’s blood-silks fluttering like eager veins in the heat—the guards straightened, their auras crackling with chaotic delight, manic grins splitting wide.

The lead guard, his grin stretched unnaturally wide to reveal rows of jagged teeth, stepped forward, dragging a massive axe that scraped the ground and sent sparks hissing across the stone.

Seeing the raw mix of unrestrained lust and psychotic glee on the men’s faces, Nia and Katherine scoffed together, as if the ending was already written in blood before them.

It had been nearly a thousand years since Nia last walked the world of Elaris, while Katherine had been born into its chaotic realm of cultivation.

Encountering lust-driven fools was nothing new, and by now it felt routine—even the men of the Primavus were used to contending with women just as brazen.

“Well, well… looks like someone’s wandered into the wrong world,” the lead guard drawled, his voice laced with dark amusement as black-red eyes roamed over them with unabashed, predatory intent that seemed to thicken the air.

“Heh, you know Asuras are known for making their women scream~”

His companions erupted in wild laughter—HA HA HA!—their manic glee sharp as shattering glass, weapons clanging in eager rhythm. Eyes gleamed as they leered, one trailing a forked tongue over cracked lips with a wet hiss.

“Boss, let’s break ’em in. Been way too long since we’ve had toys this good—soft skin, strong auras. They’ll be begging before it’s over.”

Nia tilted her head, the void-black sun mark on her forehead pulsing faintly as a slow, obsessive smile curved her lips—beautiful, yet terrifying.

“Tsk, fools as always. If I weren’t in such a decent mood, you’d already be dead,” she said lazily, turning her gaze to Katherine with playful possessiveness.

“You want to handle this, or should I devour them?”

Katherine’s crimson eyes sparkled, her easy smile twisting into an edge of wild, obsessive devotion that made the air chill despite the heat.

“These idiots think they can touch what belongs to Ash… Naturally, they’re mine. It’s been far too long since I’ve had blood this fresh to play with.”

She moved forward—smooth and unhurried, blood-silks rippling like eager predators—as the guards’ jeers grew louder, axes raising in chaotic excitement.

The lead guard’s manic grin widened further, red pupils dilating in psychotic thrill as he saw her approach—mistaking calm for weakness, lust overriding sense.

“Oh? The pretty one wants first taste?” he bellowed, voice gravel and madness, axe heaving upward in brutal swing. “Come on then—I’ll make you scream my name before I—”

HUMMMM!

His words died as Katherine’s aura flared in a silent crimson wave, blood-essence rising from the ground in living spears that tore through his body in an instant.

His veins burst in violent sprays, essence draining in agonizing pulses as twisted devotion turned his own blood against him.

Dragging screams of reluctant loyalty tore from his lips as his flesh shriveled, his eyes bulged with wild ecstasy, and his body convulsed for cruel, fleeting seconds before collapsing into a withered husk, spilling slow, dark streams across the ground…

The others paused for just a heartbeat before erupting in fury, rushing forward with wild excitement.

SHK!

SPLAT!

Katherine was already in motion—graceful yet destructive, blood whips snapping with precision, draining and twisting in relentless torrents that left shriveled husks kneeling forever.

The silence that followed was pierced by distant alarms thrumming through palace runes as dozens more guards emerged from the shadows, their auras blazing with unhinged fury.

Nia chuckled, wings spreading wide as flames flickered around her. “More fools.”

Seeing Katherine give her a knowing look, she rolled her eyes before jumping into action. She wasn’t in a battle-ready mood, just eager to see her mother again. So instead of wasting time with these fools, she simply expanded her flames.

“Using my precept on these bastards would be too wasteful… too disgusting,” she said, knowing her precept was one of absolute devouring.

In their normal state, her flames could consume all other flames and certain concepts with ease.

Her precept, however, was capable of absorbing entire existences, taking on memories, talents, and even souls as her own.

But in this case, she wanted nothing from those lustful vermin—no hint of their filth touching her.

FWOOOOM!!!!!

Her wings spread wide—twelve vast arcs of multicolored fire bursting in a wild surge, their shifting hues flowing from deep obsidian to vibrant crimson, from greedy gold to shadowed violet, each flame burning with fierce hunger yet held in effortless control.

ROARRRR!

The reinforcements charged at her in a coordinated rush, weapons raised and battle cries ripping through the air—only for the inferno to erupt outward in a flawless sphere, its multicolored flames wrapping around them like living chains.

CRACKLE!

HISS!

The lead brute’s manic grin faltered—his axe slipping from his grasp as the fire pierced his armor in bursts, blistering skin in a rainbow of agony.

His roar cracked into a strangled scream as the prismatic blaze devoured him layer by layer—crimson melting muscle, gold scorching bone, purple void swallowing the sound from his throat.

Around him, his companions flailed, their blows vanishing into the flames, bodies writhing as the fire tunneled inward.

One guard’s eyes bubbled with black-red hunger, another’s veins erupted in sapphire fire, their flesh peeling away in ashen sheets that drifted like confetti on the blistering wind.

No merging—just raw, reckless consumption.

Their essence burned away to nothing, the very concept of rage wiped out in bursts of euphoria, armored figures collapsing into brittle husks that disintegrated into shimmering embers drifting soundlessly over the charred earth.

Moments later, silence claimed the scene—the ten nothing more than fading ash mounds twisting in the rising heat, the gates behind them scorched and smoldering.

With a soft, feathery rustle, Nia folded her wings, the fiery aura around her dimming to languid, dancing embers that cast faint, shifting shadows.

“Hmph. Since no one’s bothered to greet us all this time… why not just walk in?” she murmured, her voice curling with mischief.

Katherine merely offered a lazy shrug, and together they strode forward, slipping past the threshold with the unhurried confidence of guests certain they belonged.

[A/N: Don’t get too used to battles like these… I just wanted to showcase their skills a little, but much more intense battles are on the way.]
