Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 286: The Gears Turn

Chapter 286: The Gears Turn

After setting the date for the meeting, Aster left the others as everyone went to carry out their duties.

His arrival on Earth welcomed him into a very cliché mana apocalypse. The night Ash died and lightning struck the damaged gate; it also weakened certain seals… which also gave rise to the Records of Eternity.

[A/N: This is why I said Earth was a Paradox itself.]

It was odd because the records were supposed to first appear in the multiverse… in the 21st Cycle.

Yet, on Earth it was merely year late 2025.

From the weakening of seals came old… races that had been sealed. These were all Dragons, Demons, Elves, and countless others that hadn’t even left their sealed realms that stemmed from the second cycle.

They were beings that were alive before even the known progenitors… and even before the Second Incarnation of Ash.

However, they along with a certain woman had been weakened.

In Antarctica, there had always been a myth about what lay behind the wall of ice. Before the Apocalypse, common people imagined hidden aliens or some buried government secret.

But that wasn’t the case at all.

The ice wall was a seal.

Thousands of rune talismans covered its surface, each glowing in different colors.

Only about five of them were broken.

The rest were slowly crumbling… yet at the center stood a golden‑black talisman far larger than the others, and only half of its seal remained.

This was the seal of Lucy… or the Records of Eternity.

Inside this seal was a realm of flowers—endless roses stretching as far as the eye could see.

There were no people here, only a single beautiful woman floating in the sky.

Her long white hair flowed endlessly, brushing the ground without ever gathering dirt. Red tattoos traced along her throat and arms.

Seated cross‑legged, she appeared to be reading a book, while eating various Earth foods.

“Hm, I wonder what caused the seals to weaken so much faster?” she murmured, beginning to write in her book.

Across the page, countless visions of beings from the Ninth Dimension’s multiverse flickered to life.

And she was… giving titles, cheats, and other things.

Each time she wrote a line, a red glow washed over her, and the seal crumbled ever so slightly.

She closed the book and lounged back.

Snap!

With a snap of her fingers, a projection appeared.

On it was Aster—and the woman who had stayed by his side since Elaris.

Her long white hair was still braided tightly to her scalp, smoky glasses resting on her face. It was Mia, the Advisor from the Ebonreach Kingdom.

Like him, and most of his closest aides, she had been teleported here by Elysia.

“Wasteful things,” Lucy said, shaking her head.

“Tsk, both of them are pitiful… couldn’t even retrieve the damn Orb of Origin!”

That’s right… Mia was a clone of Lucy, one fully aware of her mission. Her goal was the Orb of Origin, though her reasons were far different from what Fay and Sia intended to use it for.

No, the thing was far more valuable. It wouldn’t have helped Ash nearly as much if it weren’t.

Aster, however, had only been a pawn—someone who happened to cross paths with Mia by chance.

She had supported him from the shadows back in Elaris, helping him stabilize and carry out many of his plans, all in the hope that he would eventually lead her to the Orb of Origin.

“If not for this seal… I could’ve just made a clone at the Transcendent level.”

Lucy was not from this Lower Dimension at all. She was an invader from Dimension Three and had been sealed here since the second cosmic cycle.

“Damn Adam and Eve,” she spat before grinning, she sent a message to Mia.

In his personal chambers, Aster sat at the edge of the bed wearing only underwear. Behind him, Mia was tangled in the sheets with a look of “bliss.”

It was important to note that this clone was created from a single thought.

[A/N: I don’t know if Lucy will enter the harem—it’s up to you guys. However, I had to make this clear since people love throwing the word ’cuck’ around. So no, she has no physical tether to this clone whatsoever. And if it makes you feel any better, yes, Lucy is a virgin.] -_-

“Aster, when will we set out for Antarctica?” she asked as she sat up straight.

“I told you… those seals are not simple.”

Aster didn’t flinch at her words. He wasn’t a fool—if anything, he was a man built on contingencies like no other.

Normally, he wouldn’t listen to Mia.

She had been pestering him about the seals ever since they arrived on Earth. Not only that… he was loaded with titles, cheats, and countless advantages.

It was obvious the Records favored him… though he didn’t know why.

He didn’t know why Mia was so obsessed with a place capable of killing Overlords—and that only made him more cautious.

Yet over the last few days, he had felt an overwhelming pull toward that very region… and for good reason.

“All right, we’ll set out in a month,” he said as he stood to dress himself.

And within her seal, Lucy smiled. Everything was moving smoothly.

“What… no, who are all these people?” Elara asked as she sat beside Ash. He and Aurora were lounging in Lady Truth’s personal realm.

In front of them floated a massive projection displaying countless scenes—various regions of Earth, the conquests of his wives and others, and even the Luminous Sanctum… a place he had visited years ago.

They had been here for about a week now.

Since arriving, Ash had bonded with Elara and Lady Truth, raising them to Primavus on par with his other wives. After that, they simply relaxed while he watched his plans unfold.

“Hm, let’s just say they’re some entertainment,” Ash replied, lightly pinching Lady Truth’s waist. She flushed and leaned in to whisper against his ear.

“…I wish I could enjoy you… instead of having to rewatch you and my granddaughter.”

Ash chuckled at that.

Even though he had bonded with them, he still hadn’t taken Lady Truth, leaving her stuck watching the oldest recording she had of him. One might think she could just cast a barrier or something, but…

“Daddy, uh Mother Yonna is acting like she’s a beast or something!” Aurora said as she floated over.

Aurora, of course, could break any barrier they put up. And Ash wasn’t in the mood to ruin the atmosphere.
