Chapter 292: The Eye That Never Slept
Chapter 292: The Eye That Never Slept
For two hundred and fifty cycles, the Nine had slumbered—cradled in the hush of their own vast dreaming, their breaths the slow turning of stars, their silence the weight of forgotten wars.
But the Ninth…
Oh, the Ninth. Its eye, though closed, never slept.
Two hundred and three cycles it lingered at the rear— the least cultivated, a quiet fracture in the great wheel, watching while the others forgot to watch.
Its lowest guardians prepared, sharpening their blades in the dark.
Invaders whispered destruction across the revitalized Gate.
Ancients of old cycles rose, teeth bared, seeking blood that still remembered their names.
They dance… they scheme… they bleed.
Yet every step, every vow, every drawn breath turns beneath the shadow of the unblinking gaze.
The wheel creaks… and still the eye watches.
Softly. Patiently. Inevitably.
What will it decide today?
The dance has only begun—and already, it is ending.

Across the Lower Dimension all major players were drowned in their own plans.
No matter if it was Lucy along with the thousands of others sealed, the Guardians and the Seraphim… The Eternal Deceiver… or Vexar and Enya.
They all were ultimately doing something that revolved around power.
For Lucy and any other invader sealed, they weren’t here for conquest.
No, dimensional Invaders didn’t care one bit for conquering universes or worlds from another Dimension. They knew such a thing would be futile….
They were only here for destruction.
When invasions happened it was primarily to make a Dimension take a step backwards. Back then, Lucy and the others… well they only wanted to make sure the Ninth Dimension stayed in last… permanently.
The Guardians… well it was simple; they did the exact opposite.
Which left Vexar and the others who had been stuck for cycles at the Cosmic Overlord rank… and only wanted to see a step further.
All had different goals…. but it all ended in the same thing…. which brings them all to Earth.

Outside in the void between galaxies, Vexar and Enya were aboard their starship, looking at the small blue and green sphere.
It had been quite a while since they had set off. Vexar initially planned to go on his own conquest to remind the Lower Dimension of the Eternal Reaper.
Yet, who would have thought that the Originat would go on multiversal conquest?
It wasn’t hard for them to learn of this… I mean the Originat were literally going after every Universe at full force. There was not a branch that had not used all their troops.
And what could the rest of the multiverse do against billions upon billions of Cosmic Overlords…
With their leaders being even above that?
Well, it was obvious and Enya made sure they stayed clear of their chaos.
Yet even now as she stared at this small world she couldn’t help but feel a chill go down her spine.
“Vex… this place has the highest concentration of the Records’ essence.”
Vexar stood beside her—tall and broad-shouldered, pale skin threaded with faint glowing green veins that pulsed slowly beneath the surface. His dark eyes remained fixed on the small blue-green sphere as he crossed his arms.
“Stronger than the last three we followed?”
Since they set out even though they planned to spread their name… their main goal never changed.
The Absolute Void Zone, and for the last few thousand years they’d been going from trail to trail… all to find this small world at the center of it all.
Enya’s fingers paused on the console—her eyes narrowing further as she focused on the essence.
“Not just stronger… It’s like this world is holding the Records itself.”
Vexar exhaled through his nose—almost a laugh, but colder.
“After all these cycles… and now we finally are a step closer to more power, on some insignificant-looking world.”
Enya’s lips curved—just a fraction.
“And those darn Originat… We’ve stayed clear of their path so far. But if the Records are truly here… we can’t wait much longer.”
Vexar’s dark eyes narrowed—green veins along his neck pulsing faintly brighter.
“We’ve waited long enough. Prepare the descent…. We wait a while then take what we came for.”
Enya nodded—fingers already dancing across the controls.
The engines flared—soft light blooming along its hull.
The ship began its descent—silent, unseen—toward the small blue-green sphere.

A full week passed on Earth before the final domino began to fall.
“Aster… shouldn’t we be heading towards the Ice wall first?” Mia asked in a sweet voice as she flew beside Aster through the skies.
Internally though?
’This fool… can’t you hurry up and walk to your death?’
Like mentioned before she was a clone of Lucy, yet they were like separate entities. Her initial goal had been to retrieve Orb of Origin, something that was a vital piece to the entire structure of the Ninth dimension.
However, Ash obviously took it for himself… and who would’ve thought they would be teleported to Earth?
The very place Lucy was sealed….
Not even Ash at the time knew nor Elysia.
The transportation had been random only aligning with their destinies, back then Ash’s mana sense didn’t stretch universe wide… and he honestly didn’t have the thought that Earth was so special.
When coming here, Mia’s goal slightly changed… but it was simple. Use Aster, Lucy empowered him with countless aspects, titles and cheats. All to push him to the very peak of the Cosmic Overlord rank.
Why?
Well, anyone who held titles to her would offer two things.
Their existences, meaning their race, bloodline and any empowerment they’d gained from her ten fold.
The records were nothing but an artifact. One tied directly to Lucy’s soul, yet it couldn’t be used on herself directly….
The second thing was that those who held her gifts would become her slaves.
This… also went for Ash. Well, not entirely as he had long gotten rid of any taint belonging to the records, so it was impossible for him to be enslaved.
But, that didn’t mean she didn’t have a version of the Primavus Progenitor bloodline….
Which honestly meant jack shit for Ash and the Primavus… but for the others? It was an entirely different story.
Over the last two years, Mia had done her job to the letter. Aster was now the strongest being on Earth, even surpassing Kaguya… Someone who’d been waiting for a certain man.
However… Mia, she had her own desires as well.
’Maybe, I can finally live my own life?’

“We’re here.”
“You’re here?”
Aster’s voice seemingly echoed twice as they finally came to a stop.
Such a thing caused both Aster and Mia to frown as their mana sense surged. Yet, they saw nothing but the icy lands of Antarctica.
“Who?” Aster’s voice sounded as his form began to change with a simple blink.
In a heartbeat his hair turned grey matching his eyes.
His demeanor shifted into one of a warrior as he summoned two swords.
“You?” The same voice echoed as the winds stirred strongly and in the next moment… Aster, no…
The Eternal Deceiver stood directly in front of them with the same grey hair and eyes.
