Chapter 954: Chapter 952-Giants Fight.
’Calm down... calm down... first focus on what’s in front of me.’
I repeated to myself, even though right now I just wanted to run away. I could feel something wrong all around me, but right now, there is something more important. Thus, I focused on that, my mind for the moment keeping away the issue as I focused on Qwill. I could tell that the situation happened right now and here with me showing off.
’Looks like I need to let off some steam.’
Thinking of this, my eyes settled on Qwill. The world just fucked me over now, and right now, a good punching bag will do some good. As I looked at him, I could see Qwill’s body tremble for a moment. Right now, the eyes of everyone are on me, and my senses easily picked up the hidden ones, too.
’I did this first to easily earn the affection of the untouched capture targets.’
There are several new ones spread about, and I needed affection from them all without contacting all of them first, and this was one of the ways. There are deeper reasons why I chose Qwill as my first target.
’This isn’t the time to think; right now, it’s the time to just forget.’
My gaze fixed sharply on Qwill, and the moment I did, I flexed my muscles. Just using the pure push from relaxing muscles created a more powerful sonic boom than what Qwill did. The sheer pressure release made my muscles tremble and shake, and I could see the eyes of Qwill trembling more as he felt the release.
"Sorry about this..."
I said with a smile. I just slightly hinged my legs and, before Qwill could react, I was already in front of him. Once again, the massive sound of a sonic boom was heard as my closed fist fought at Qwill’s stomach, and with just that action, a massive push was created, to which the dude went flying, tumbling, after which he hit one of the walls. The reaction of the hit spread as dust and smoke spread out.
But I didn’t get much time to relax as Qwill was already on me. My eyes were calm as I watched the huge fist coming towards me, its size covering my face as I calmly took a step to the side. The miss of the punch created a huge force that fueled the winds.
"You have hidden yourself well."
Qwill spoke with shining eyes as I took a step back, appearing a distance away, but Qwill didn’t give up. He closed in the distance and punched me in my face, which I dodged, moved faster than him and hit him in the side. The force was like hitting a tough wall that absorbs your hits as Qwill, absorbing the hit, came down with another punch towards my face, which I redirected, making another hit, which he took like a champ.
Soon, we were just moving through the field, punches being exchanged and given. There was no defence, no pullback, no strategy; it was just pure freedom. As the two of us fought, dodging a hit to my chest, I did a slight lean to the right and gave a powerful punch, which Qwill, taking it, responded with a powerful kick that I took with a crossed arm defence.
Gaining my footing, I did a somersault kick with such power that Qwill grunted as he took it in. He tried to get a hold of my leg to do a Hulk attack, which I dodged. Gaining the ground, I punched him in the face, which he once again took and gave it back to me. A wide smile on Qwill’s face as he took in the punch, a smile I was also starting to have.
Qwill moved first—a blur of motion that defied his size. His fist swung forward, the air itself splitting from the force. The entire coliseum trembled. Shockwaves erupted, distorting the light, sending dust flying.
Soon after, it was just pure punches. I would give him a punch filled with power, and Qwill would return the same. Our bodies moved across the field, different attacks hitting each other. One of my attacks landed on his chest with great power as Qwill gave back at the same time, hitting my sides. Thus, it was a no-retreat battle, fist against fist.
To the audience, at least to the ones that can’t keep up with the speed, we looked like two blurs moving through the field. The sounds of hits and sonic booms resounded deeply everywhere, and to the ones that could see, it was blood-boiling, especially to the tribe of Qwill’s. This is the type of fight they all lived for!
Our fists met, my fist against his huge one...
Boom!
A wide range of destruction came from it. The two of us, smiling, looked at each other, our fists still trying to push against each other, wide smiles on our faces. No words need be said. Qwill’s eyes glowed with fury. His tattoos began to flare brighter, his muscles expanding slightly as his aura intensified. The ground beneath him shattered completely, unable to contain the overflowing strength.
The same happened to me. The faint shimmer around me exploded outward—golden, radiant, divine. My tattoo burned across my chest, glowing with searing brilliance, and just as it did, the push came. Our fists, now connected, seemed to be breaking up as we, with a last push, pulled back, taking a distance. Now our sheer presence is burning and baking the surroundings, heat like no other filling the place.
"Let’s go all out!" x2
We said at the same time. Thus, the highest level of the tattoo was activated. The tattoo around Qwill is shining even brighter, his muscles trembling, shaking, growing, and compressing. His body reached a state of absolute indestructibility, his bones growing stronger inside, and even his internal organs reached a never-before-seen state.
Before my eyes, Qwill grew, and mind you, this happened in less than a second. Before the eye could blink, Qwill had grown into an even larger size, not a giant monster but not small either. His body showed off sheer pressure, and within that blink itself, just as that eye-blink transformation took place, a shadow fell over me.
The shadow from the huge fist is now already above my head, ready to take me out. A smile on my face, for it wasn’t just Qwill that had grown. The full form of my tattoo was already unleashed, and unlike his, mine was even more special. My body now glowed with a golden hue, shining unlike before.
My size also increased a bit, but not too much, yet if one were to underestimate me, then their death will be far swifter than they could hope. As that fist landed towards me, I threw a punch up...
The fist came crashing down like a meteor, the air screaming in protest as it tore through the atmosphere. I could feel the heat from Qwill’s enhanced aura scorching the ground below, turning the dirt into glass-like shards that crunched under my feet. But I wasn’t about to let that intimidate me—not when I knew deep down this was all a show. Yeah, I could end this in a heartbeat, crush him like a bug under my boot, but where’s the fun in that? Nah, I had to drag it out, make it look like a real struggle, hide the monster inside me that could wipe the floor with him without breaking a sweat. The audience needed to see a hero’s fight, not a slaughter.
So, I met his punch head-on. My own fist shot upward, golden energy coiling around my arm like living flames. The collision was cataclysmic—BOOM! The shockwave rippled out in a perfect circle, blasting spectators back in their seats, shattering nearby barriers, and sending cracks spiderwebbing through the coliseum floor. Our knuckles locked for a split second, the force vibrating through my bones, but I held firm, my muscles screaming with controlled power. Qwill’s eyes widened, that feral grin of his faltering just a touch as he realised I wasn’t budging.
"Not bad," I muttered through gritted teeth, though inside I was laughing. This guy was giving it everything, his tattoo pulsing like a heartbeat, veins bulging like ropes under his skin. But me? I was holding back, metering out just enough to match him, letting him think he had a shot.
He roared, pulling back and swinging a wild haymaker from the side. I ducked low, feeling the whoosh of air over my head that could’ve decapitated a lesser man. In that crouch, I exploded upward with an uppercut, aiming for his jaw. It connected with a sickening CRACK, his head snapping back, blood spraying from his lip. But Qwill was tough—tougher than most. He shook it off like it was nothing, his massive frame lunging forward to grab me in a bear hug.
I twisted away at the last second, my body moving on instinct, fluid like water. His arms closed on empty air, and I countered with a knee to his midsection. The impact folded him slightly, air whooshing out of his lungs, but he swung an elbow that grazed my shoulder, sending a jolt of pain through me. I let it show—winced a bit, staggered back—to sell the even match. The crowd was eating it up, their cheers thundering like a storm, hearts pounding in unison with ours.
We circled each other now, breath coming heavy, sweat mixing with the dust in the air. Qwill’s tattoos were glowing brighter, runes etching deeper into his skin, his body adapting, growing even denser. I could sense it—the way his aura thickened, like he was pulling strength from the earth itself. "You’re stronger than you look, Austin," he growled, his voice a rumble that shook the ground. "But I’ve got more in me!"
I smirked, wiping a trickle of blood from my mouth—self-inflicted, really, from biting my tongue to add drama. "Bring it, big guy. I’m just getting warmed up."
He charged like a bull, feet pounding craters into the arena floor. Each step sent tremors up my legs, but I stood my ground, waiting for the perfect moment. As he closed in, fist cocked for a devastating overhead smash, I sidestepped and drove my palm into his chest. The force was calculated—not full throttle, but enough to send him skidding back ten feet, heels digging furrows in the dirt. He coughed, clutching his ribs, but his eyes burned with that warrior fire. Good. Let him think he’s pushing me.
