The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2167: WELCOME TO THE ROOT

Chapter 2167: WELCOME TO THE ROOT

Book 22 - The Root.

---

In the Grand Void Chamber of the Tenth Empyrean World, eleven figures gathered, beings whose very presence could bend the rules of creation. They stood in a vast circle beneath a ceiling of swirling starlight, their forms half-veiled by their immense power, revealing only their eyes. Every gaze burned with fury, every aura hummed with killing intent.

"We cannot allow them to continue existing," said a man whose golden eyes radiated ancient wisdom. His voice was sharp, each word like the toll of judgment. "Their nature threatens everything we have built. If they remain, our plan will unravel."

The others nodded solemnly.

"He is of a Taboo Race," another spoke, his tone steeped in disdain. "Time holds no meaning for such beings. We have waited too long, labored too deeply, to let a single anomaly undo it all."

Then came the voice of the one with platinum eyes, serene yet terrifying in its calm. "He has already slain one of our own. Azazel’s fall cannot be ignored. This time, we must use our full strength to crush him completely."

A ripple of agreement passed through the chamber. None spoke his name aloud, yet everybody knew whom they were referring to, the Primordial that had managed to unify an Empyrean World.

They were beings who shaped destinies across worlds, but Cain’s existence had become an infection in their design, a flaw that could not be tolerated.

Finally, the one at the center raised his head.

Adam.

His red eyes ignited, casting the entire chamber in blood-red light. Instantly, silence fell. None among them dared breathe too loudly under that gaze. When Adam spoke, his voice carried an authority that even the kings of the cosmos could not match.

"The portal left behind by the fall of the Rank Twelve Depravita Astral Supremacy Star remains active," Adam said. "Through it, I can send one of you into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. But you know what that means."

His words echoed like thunder through the endless chamber.

Silence answered him.

Each of the ten life forms understood what it meant to leave. It was a one-way ticket journey. Yet none hesitated.

These were not the bickering ArchDeities of the Freedom Path in the Third Realm; they were conquerors, architects of entire civilizations. Their resolve burned brighter than stars. If Adam commanded it, they would march into annihilation without a word, even if that meant they would never come back.

Adam’s eyes softened slightly, a flicker of pride touching his expression. But before he could continue, he paused. His gaze shifted, sharpening.

Something vast had entered his awareness.

The red in his eyes deepened, the light flaring so intensely that the chamber trembled. The air rippled under the force of his perception, and even the ten gathered entities felt their bones and souls quake beneath it. Worlds would have collapsed under such pressure.

Instinctively, they raised their auras to shield themselves, their power resonating in answer. Still, unease spread among them.

Adam was no ordinary being. He was transcendent, father of a Supreme Race, perhaps the strongest life form in existence. For something to disturb even him... none of them could imagine what it might be.

Minutes passed before Adam’s gaze finally dimmed. He leaned back slightly, the light in his eyes cooling to an ember.

"Something... dangerous has arrived," he said at last. His voice was quiet, almost thoughtful. "But with luck, it may resolve our problem without the need for us to move."

Confusion rippled through the chamber. The others exchanged wary glances, but Adam continued before questions could rise.

"We will wait," he commanded. "If this calamity unfolds as I suspect, it will accelerate the completion of our plan."

The ten nodded, some in excitement, others in dread. Their eyes glowed with curiosity, but none dared to press further. Whatever Adam had seen was beyond their comprehension.

And beyond their universe, something vast began to stir.

---

At the outer border of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, where the luminous barrier separated creation from the endless emptiness, reality itself began to shiver.

For countless ages, that barrier had stood flawless, an eternal wall of divine law. Not even an Alpha-Omega Overgod could leave a mark upon it. Armies had fallen trying. Stars had been born and died beside it, and still it remained unbroken.

Until now.

A faint crack appeared along its inner surface. It was almost imperceptible at first—a single fracture in the cosmic glass. Then, slowly, a fragment chipped away, falling into the dark beyond.

From that breach, something pushed through.

A tendril, thin as a finger, razor-edged and glistening with black luminescence, slipped across the barrier’s surface. It should have been nothing, a mere filament of energy. Yet that tendril belonged to a structure so immense that it dwarfed entire Empyrean Worlds.

And it was pushing harder.

Every heartbeat sent new shockwaves through the universal wall. Space cracked. Time buckled. The divine lattice that held the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe together groaned under a pressure it had never known.

Then came the sound.

A voice, no, countless voices, echoed from beyond the veil. They layered atop one another, resonating with perfect, terrifying harmony.

"WELCOME TO THE ROOT."

"WELCOME TO THE UNITY."

The words rippled through the void, carrying an intent that could drive mad anyone who was too weak to hear them.

Each repetition grew louder, more ecstatic, as though the speakers themselves were exultant, celebrating the fulfillment of their very reason to exist.

The journey of the great entity was not yet complete. It was still forcing its way through, inch by inch, consuming the barrier as it advanced. But nothing could stop it.

Once it broke through fully, the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe would no longer be isolated.

All life would see. All life would understand.

They would know what it meant to transcend individuality—to surrender the illusion of self. To become immortal in the truest, most absolute way.

To be absorbed.

To live forever as part of something greater.

Part of the Root.
