The Glorious Evolution

Chapter 382  Two Seeds... One Map.

The moment Levi drank the evolutionary formula, he switched to his wisp inside his Leywell... then, he gazed at the orbiting Origin Seeds around his souls, which were also orbiting around the main soul. His main soul acted as the sun, the compass, the sole focal point while everything else orbited in one way or another.

Levi's calculations were precise to the point he wasn't surprised to see their paths slowly heading in the direction of a perfect alignment... the Void Seed and its soul were about to position themselves in front of the Main Soul while the Sun Seed and its soul were heading for the opposite direction... aligning behind the main soul.

At the same time, the Ancestral Sun Tree had finished studying the formula's content and kicked off its evolution process.

Its stem broke off the seed's shell inside Levi's Sun soul and grew upward until it reached the chest area... immediately after, the Titan, Ash'Kral, and Levi watched with held breath as the alignment reached its finalization stage.

"It's happening..."

The Titan murmured, his eyes glued to the alignment's formation... Void Seed, its soul, Nine Senses Seed, its main soul, and then the Sun soul perfectly overlapped behind the main soul, allowing them to see the branches spread out in perfect harmony with the Nine Senses Seed's branches!

In their vision, it appeared as the Sun Seed was copying the pathway to the letter... but, if one looked much, much closer, they would notice that the branches' growth map was less than a millimeter away!

They traveled along the same path, destined for merger, but refusing to abide by their fated end.

"Keep going..."

Levi cheered under his breath, his spiritual vision glued on the mesmerizing scene before him... Each moment he felt no pain meant that the process was steadily going in the right direction since it meant the branches weren't touching even when they were so close to each other!

Usually, the Void Seed would have thrown a tantrum and sown chaos by having its evolution scheduled for last... but, not this time. It also watched, silently, a maybe... hopefully?

It didn't consider the Sun Seed going ahead of it, but being used as a test subject... whether it succeeded or failed, the Void Seed would have more knowledge for its evolution.

"The alignment is starting to break off." Ash'Kral uttered, frowning. "The moment of truth is getting close."

Levi and the Titan nodded silently, their gaze slowly following the movement of the seeds and souls... they were slowly drifting, little by little, away from each other, resembling an eclipse fading off.

Meanwhile, the Sun Seed was forcing everything it had into this, refusing to slow down. It copied turn after turn, curve after curve, almost like it had memorized the Nine Senses Seed's complicated structure!

The Sun Seed's branches kept growing rapidly, resembling an army of snakes bending in unnatural ways while simultaneously following the Nine Senses Seed's path almost perfectly!

Each new inch made Levi more tense, because one mistake here could ruin the entire process... yet no pain came.

When Levi looked deeper into it, the tiny differences started to stand out.

"...it's working." He whispered, his heart thumping nervously.

Where the Nine Senses Seed's branches changed course sharply, the Sun Seed's branches curved just a little wider... where the Nine Senses Seed's branches fell down, the Sun Seed's branches held themselves straighter.

Those tiny differences grew clearer with each new branch, painting a new scenery, but one that was born out of the Nine Senses Seed's vision.

Then... it happened; the alignment had finally reached the zone of imbalance... the souls were still one behind the other, but each one faced its own path, its own direction.

Levi and the tenants held their breaths and watched as the Sun Seed continued to push the final tips of its branches and twigs, following the complicated map in its memory. It might seem like it was an easy task, but Levi knew... not even himself could pull this off when there were tens of thousands of branches, if not more, intertwined in one of the most complicated and mesmerizing formations he had ever seen in a tree.

A second later... the alignment broke off entirely as all celestial bodies continued on their own orbiting journeys... no chaos, no backlash, nothing violent.

But Levi, the Titan, and Ash'Kral showed nothing but the widest of smiles... Right behind Levi's main soul, the results became clear:

Two growth maps hovered side by side... they matched almost completely, but not fully... One belonged to the Nine Senses Seed, and the other, though nearly the same, had its own shape, its own routes, and clear differences.

"You have done it..." The Titan clapped gently in celebration. "Two maps that are alike in structure... but still, without a doubt, not the same. I doubt anyone has done this before with the Equilibrium of Chaos."

"How could they?" Ash'Kral sneered cockily. "We are the only ones who have achieved the soul-split theory, and moving on... all of our steps can only be glorified, but never copied."

"I am just happy I don't need to suffer."

Levi sighed in relief, and then showed a serene, soft smile... although he knew the goal was to unite those three seeds, but as he slowly embarked on this journey, he was realizing that to unite something... they first have to be separated.

He was taking steady steps to fulfilling the separation that the three Seeds always desired... then, he could work on their union, but this time... it wouldn't be brute-forced like all other solutions used to tackle the Three-Body Problem.

A genuine union that all three Seeds wanted... a quest that he knew was going to be the most difficult to achieve in his life, but at least now... he had a chance.

"I can feel it... you have made the Sun Seed very happy." Ash'Kral grinned. "You should prepare yourself for the mutation; I doubt it's going to be pleasant."

"Huh..."

Before Levi could react, he swiftly switched to his main consciousness after feeling a sudden rise in his internal temperature. Usually, the seed would focus on both evolutions at the same time... But since this was a special occasion, it put its entire efforts into its evolution first. Now that it was greatly pleased with their success, it was time to channel its attention on the host, who always kept his word and made its dreams come true, one time after another.

Alas... the way the seeds show love wasn't pleasant in the slightest.

Argh!!!

Levi screamed at the top of his lungs. The pain coursed through every inch of him. It felt heavy, like his bones were turning to thick liquid and dragging the rest of his body down with them.

Thud!

He fell headfirst onto the floor and lay there... no longer having any control over his body.

He tried to push himself off the floor, but his arms wouldn't respond... his fingers twitched once and then stopped.

How could he move when he felt his bones inside his arms, legs, and spine bend and reshape, like metal being melted and hammered back into shape?!

They transformed under his skin, moving on their own... all Levi could do was clench his teeth so hard he thought they would break.

"I... can't... breathe... it... hurts... so... bad..." he forced out, barely.

"His bone marrow is melting... the Sun Seed is remaking him from the inside, but this is too dangerous. If the bones stay melted for too long, he will lose structure and die." The Titan uttered with a hint of worry showing on his face. Ash'Kral shook his head. "No... the Sun Seed knows what it's doing."

"Sure?"
