The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 762 - 762: Formation of The Seven Star Paragon Force (2)

“Just where did you get that tablet from, Klaus?” Lily asked, rubbing Klaus’s head as she fed him sliced fruit.

“Would you believe me if I were to tell you I stole it from the heavens?” Klaus laughed, but Lily knew he meant what he said.

She and her sisters had already established that they wouldn’t ask him everything, considering every time they asked, he always brushed it off with a joke.

They knew he had many secrets, and if he wasn’t ready to share them, it meant something was stopping him.

Klaus hated the idea of keeping things from them, but his hands were tied. Of course, he could defy the heavens and offload on his ladies, but they would pay for it.

He wasn’t ready for that yet. This meant he would, for now, keep them hidden. But he had also found a way to tell them some things subtly.

Right now, Klaus was sleeping on Lily’s lap. She had already had her round at the dome. She was the only one among her sisters who went with the third batch.

So she was the only one left to take care of their man, who was currently planning their training plans because he would be away in a week’s time to handle the Tier 11 monster they planned on killing.

Lily managed to solve the puzzle she was presented with, and per her gains, she seemed to have gotten even faster.

In fact, per her deduction, her speed had doubled, meaning even without advancing in any levels since Klaus locked their cultivation, she had broken a limit on herself and now became even faster.

It was just too unbelievable to her.

For a person to break their limit and become even faster, it means the tablet isn’t something simple.

“You know, one of these days, you are going to tell us who you really are, right?” Lily smiled.

“I will. But for now, just follow my lead and never stop training. You will understand one of these days.” Klaus brushed her hand, making the sweet Lily smile.

Naturally, he was still disturbed by what Pickle Berry said.

That sneaky snake girl said the sweet Lily was actually evil, and if Klaus were to find out her true identity, he would probably run away from her.

In fact, she even seemed to have dirt on Amelia, to Klaus’s shock. This was why he hesitated when she asked to spend time with him.

It had been three days since the warriors started entering the dome, and within those three days, he noticed Pickle Berry and Amelia had become best friends.

It was like old friends who had met again after millions of years.

But somehow, she seemed to be afraid of the rather sweet Lily—something Klaus couldn’t wrap his mind around.

But in a way, he also noticed Lily was obsessed with the little snake child, who, despite having memories of her life as a Sage Immortal-headed Elemental Snake, seemed to fear her.

Klaus most certainly wanted to remember Kaden’s memories now and get to the bottom of this.

But he would have to wait until Pickle Berry grew up more.

According to what he learned from Pickle Berry, she met Kaden when she was 18 years old. This meant she had to reach that stage before he could start remembering Kaden’s memories.

But since she was a beast and a divine one at that, it wouldn’t be long for her to become a lady. He most certainly was waiting for that so he could start to remember his 8th incarnation.

“This tablet thing is a game changer. They’ve all succeeded, and right now, they all want to have a go at it again,” Lily said, looking at Klaus’s handsome face.

“I will let them. But for now, let’s wait for everyone.”

Strangely, everyone who entered the dome came out smiling. They had started growing stronger, and that was indeed something they never saw coming.

Eight days later, everyone had their chance, with everyone succeeding in the first trial. The heavens must really be angry at this outcome.

But watching their expressions, one could tell that they were indeed happy. Klaus, in particular, was happy with this outcome, so he decided to run the second round of the trial.

“Looking at your expressions, I can tell you all are happy with your gains.” Every warrior nodded.

“Very well. This means you all want to have a second go at it.” They nodded again.

“Then why don’t you gather your weapons? We will be visiting the domain of the Stone Carapace Tortoise tomorrow.

After the battle, you will gain early access to the dome based on the number of your kills.” Klaus smiled, watching their faces.

He had already surveyed their next target, and he counted over 4,000 monsters and beasts simply because that region has all kinds of monsters.

He knew his team wasn’t either. This made him realize what had to be done to make the second phase of their training much more fun.

“I hope you all maintain this look throughout the battle tomorrow. From my research, that region has seventeen Tier 10s, and the rest are Tier 9s and 8s. There are no Tier 7s or below.

So be prepared. While you won’t have to worry about their leader, the rest are different types of monsters and beasts, so the battle is bound to be tedious.

“But the fun part of the next battle is testing how much you’ve improved. Of course, you will get a chance to enter the dome, but the faster you enter, the faster you will be able to take on a new mission.

And yes, there will be missions after tomorrow’s battle. If we succeed in clearing tomorrow’s battle, these missions will be outside the three regions.

So be ready, and don’t think breaking a single limit is all you need. After the second is broken, you will know just how important it is to keep grinding hard.” The warriors nodded and started preparing.

Meanwhile, Queen Lunara, who had left to prepare for the attack on the Tier 11 monster, arrived the next morning with five Grand Elders and five Overlords.

Klaus had other plans.

Instead of taking all the Overlords and all Grand Elders, he would be taking only the ten and his friends. Since the Triplets and Lycos’s team had proven to be dependable warriors, they would be joining his seven-star Paragon generals, too.

The battle in the Tier 9 Forbidden Zone in a week’s time would show just how much they had prepared for the battles yet to come.

The monster is at the peak of the Tier 11 stage. This means it’s several times stronger than the snake he and the three ladies killed.

Klaus didn’t want to jinx it, but he knew if the battle was going to end in their favor, he must prepare well. Thankfully, he has the skills and weapons.

But the question still remains: are they ready to face a Peak Tier 11 monster that has undergone many monstrous evolutions?

The next day, Klaus, alongside the Paragon Force and the soldiers, marched into the territory of the Stone Carapace Tortoise, and the chaotic battle was underway.
