The Martial Unity

Chapter 3107: Unfathomable Power

One month has passed since the Unfolding.

The strategic outlook of human civilization had completely crumbled.

The major powers of the true world had established a presence on the continent.

The dwarves had begun to mine aggressively in not just the periphery of Namgung Dynasty’s primordial seed reserves but also in other parts of the continent. They established an aggressive industrial mining grade operation that had begun to extract a minute fraction of esoteric reserves of the Panama Continent very slowly.

Over time, they would become one of the richest in esoteric matter reserves.

The therianthropes had begun wooing some of the beasts and monsters at the edge of West Panama and had begun annexing them into their own power, taming the beasts with remarkably stunning results. The Panamic Alliance had deployed the Beast Tamer immortal sage to counter their progress and try to slow them down as much as possible.

Regardless, they were bound to become the greatest power when it came to esoteric fauna that would undoubtedly enhance the quality of their civilization and their way of life.

The giants were among the scariest of them all for the sheer bottomless potential they had.

They were able to consume esoteric matter in the biosphere of the Panama Continent with ease and even partially integrate it into their bodies without suffering death from the toxicity of these exotic forms of matter.

This was a species with a highly assimilative digestive system with a profound ability to integrate and store. Many feared that esoteric matter might enhance them in ways that would allow them to tap into higher Realms, such as the Master Realm and the Martial Mind.

If they ever gained access to that power, then the world would belong to them, undoubtedly.

The tekvores didn’t focus on the exotic life or exotic matter, of course, focusing entirely on exotic technology to gather as much of a competitive edge. Not only had the Esocline Federation been suffering tremendously from the continuous attacks, but it had been suffering from increasingly dangerous attempts at cyber infiltration.

One area that the true world generally appeared to be vastly greater than that of the Panama Continent was information technology; perhaps the only reason that all their satellites were being physically targeted instead of being hacked was because they were based on different underlying technologies, making them incompatible.

Regardless, the Imperial Tekvorian Federation began bleeding the Esocline Federation with sustained and continuous pressure, getting closer and closer to achieving their goal with each passing day.

The evolutionaries had become nothing short of a nightmare for the Panamic Alliance in the past month, getting the lion’s share of Martial Sages and resources towards containing their expansion, and even then, they failed to contain the growing territory of the evolutionaries.

The dark elves had cooperated with the Panamic Alliance, offering as much intelligence and information as they possibly could. And yet, as pacifists, they refused to fight for the Panamic Alliance with their power. They were unwilling to enter into any agreement that mandated them to take up arms in certain events.

With each passing day, the number of colonial settlers upon the continent had risen almost exponentially as the one-month trial phase had come to an end and to an unambiguous conclusion.

The indigenous natives of the Panama Continent were simply unable to enforce their claim over their territory with force.

And if they weren’t able to enforce their claims over their territory, then the true world had no reason to acknowledge or respect their claims over said territories. By the end of one month after the Unfolding, countless colonial-settler ventures were underway in the Panama Continent as a myriad of powers sought to claim a piece of the pie.

The race to conquer the Lost Continent had begun in the true world as an endless pursuit of politics, organizations, and even individuals, had begun to set up shop in the exotic continent with exotic treasures.

Some had come for esoteric resources while others sought to enslave the indigenous population that was not protected by an international charter that described only the Six Descendant Races and their hybrids, and not the humans of the Lost Continents. Others came for territory and land, while many more came in scientific pursuit, whether exotic, biological, anthropological, or historical.

Many came to explore the exotic mysteries of the Lost Continent in an adventurous spirit as the Adventure Guild mobilized all its adventurers to scour everything that the Panama Continent had to offer.

Of course, the Martial Artists and the siege weapons of the Panama Continent still made it that there was a risk associated with going to the continent with non-friendly intentions, but there were those who deployed deception with false friendly interests before betraying the natives after setting up a base.

The warring resources of the Panamic Continent were spread thin and were increasingly on the defensive rather than the offensive.

Ordinarily, the Panama Continent wouldn’t have even fared as well as it actually did, holding with a shocking tenacity that earned the respect of many entities in the true world. It was because human civilization had been tempered and toughened extremely by the Beast Incursion that they had managed to hold out as long as they did, with larger and more powerful civilizations crushing on them from the outside.

The Beast Domain had thoroughly conditioned all of them to be able to withstand extraordinary pressure, which slowed down even the mighty true world in its attempt to take over the Lost Continent.

And yet, it only delayed the inevitable.

Not even the combined power of all the Martial Artists, all esoteric technology, all the immortal sages and their ingenuity, and all the treasures at their disposal was enough to prevent the inevitable.

One month after the Unfolding had passed, and the true world converged upon the continent, violating her with its greed and malice as they slowly eroded the very fabric of human civilization.

One month after the Unfolding had passed, all hope was lost in human civilization.

And yet, deep within the depths of the Kandrian Manifold lay a man.

A man with extraordinary power.

He had slumbered for more than a year.

He had slumbered long enough.

He stirred.

And then, he awakened.

His eyes slowly opened.

Within their pitch-black depths lay unfathomable power.

Unfathomable power unlike anything that the world had ever seen.
