The Martial Unity

Chapter 3545: Protocolled Mining Operation

Chapter 3545: Protocolled Mining Operation

“We’re approaching the Great Void Ocean.”

WHOOSH!

Deep within the depths of the waters of the true world, a fleet of Martial Artists swam through the ocean in a neat formation. At the very front were five Martial Sages, led by none other than the Waterweaver, the peak Sage of the Marinaera Kingdom.

His body was lean and thin, allowing him to cut through the water without too much effort. His pale skin evolved to be hydrophobic at most points across his tall body despite being suited for underwater environments for the sake of minimizing drag.

His upper half was bare for the same reason, as was customary attire in the Marinaera men, while his lower garments were designed to increase how much thrust he could generate with each flap of his leg.

The Martial Artists behind him

He coursed the depths of the waters of the oceans at a high speed, eager to reach his destination in the Great Void Ocean, leading with him five Martial Sages and nearly one hundred Martial Masters, accounting for a third of the total Martial Artist population in the Upper Realms.

The number of Martial Masters had ballooned relative to the number of Martial Sages in the past eighteen years. Where once upon a time, Masterhood was something that was highly coveted and regarded as a fundamental transformation and gateway to the Upper Realms, its significance had been diluted largely due to the explosion in their numbers caused by Rui.

His artificial mass breakthroughs caused an explosion in the number of Martial Masters, allowing Martial Seniors to break through at an unprecedented rate, skewing the Martial Master population towards younger and more inexperienced.

Still, it was a great boon for human civilization, allowing it to become much stronger than it had ever been. The number of Martial Sages emerging from them was also quite high due to the Beast Incursion putting tremendous pressure on the Martial Masters of the world, allowing them to break through to the Sage Realm at a much higher rate than ever before.

The Marinaera Kingdom had also benefited from this despite being greatly insulated from the Beast Incursion, to the point that their Martial Sage population had ballooned to a whopping twenty Martial Sages in a rather short period of time.

As they approached the Great Void Ocean, the aquatic biosphere began dimming. Even in the dark depths of the ocean floor they were at, the many strange lifeforms that evolved for the extremely harsh environments at extraordinary depths on the ocean floor began thinning out as they drew closer and closer to the goal.

The roar of the ocean began growing louder.

They could hear a faint bubbling sound in the distance.

The Waterweaver’s eyes lit up as he spotted glowing veins at the very bottom of the ocean. The lava that emerged from the depths of the mantle spread across the ocean floor, flattened by the immense pressure of the ocean, and cooled into magma.

They eventually formed a sedimentary igneous rock layer with flashes of glowing purple.

“Negatron matter.”

A resource that was already shaping a new world.

“We’ve arrived.” Waterweaver’s tone was solemn.

His eyes sharpened as they swept across his field of vision, scanning a huge area for threats and any hidden dangers with a powerful Sage-level aquatic sensory technique.

“No threats detected. As per protocol, we will remain on guard and man a perimeter while establishing an aquatic outpost. Once we have secured this region, we will signal for the submarines of the Panamic Alliance to come forth and begin mining operations.”

He turned around with a serious expression. “Divide into five groups, each led by a Martial Sage as planned, and conduct a deeper surveillance scan while installing the underwater siege outposts.”

The Martial Artists immediately set out to commence the security and surveillance protocols, ensuring that everything was ok in the region that they were about to start mining in. The Emperor of Harmony sought to go for a safety-first approach, where everything was secured, because their access to the Great Void Ocean was much less direct than that of the other six continents, which were directly connected to the Great Void Ocean.

Half of the other six continents directly faced the Great Void Ocean, making it extremely easy for the other six races to get to the ocean, while Panamic Civilization needed to pass through them to get access to the same resources.

The other six civilizations could box the Panama Continent out through a naval and submarine blockade of the Panama Continent, if not for the fact that the Emperor of Harmony had already secured the alliance with the therianthrope civilization of Kiriket and the dark elves of West Genora.

They had opted to go through the Broken Water ocean in between West Genora and Hlakaschken Trade Empire, the latter of which had kept its promise to Rui to ally with human civilization if they dealt with the Dragon Emperor appropriately, giving the Panama Continent precious access to the ocean.

However, the distance meant that the Panamic Alliance needed to exert more care and caution regarding safety because reinforcements wouldn’t arrive immediately.

Thus, the Martial Artists from the Marinaera Kingdom scouted and surveyed the area extremely rigorously, ensuring that there was nothing of concern or alarm waiting for them in the area.

“Region one, all clear.”

“All clear in region two.”

“All clear in region three.”

One by one, the many Martial Artist groups and sub-groups began sending back reports confirming the absence of any danger.

“Everything is clear,” the Waterweaver sent a message to the awaiting mining and logistics team. “Dispatch immediately for the commencement of mining operations.”

“Understood,” the captain of the mining team acknowledged. “We will arrive in an estimated time of fifteen minutes.”

It wasn’t long before the mining team arrived as specialized crafts and submarines lowered themselves to the bottom of the ocean, and began drilling, breaking apart the igneous sediments that had hardened at the bottom of the ocean.
