The Primordial Record

Chapter 1892: Cleansing Reality (12)

Chapter 1892: Cleansing Reality (12)

Eos had isolated Reality from Limbo, doing so to prevent any outside influence over It, as he sought to cleanse it of the taint of the Primordials.

Nothing would be able to enter or exit this Reality. As he could not be sure about the overall state of existence since he had no method to investigate the Cradle of Enoch thoroughly, it may be possible that the life left inside Reality may be the last time creation left outside his control.

Eos did not want to create everything, and he saw the need for diversity and new mysteries outside his overall control. Existence would be meaningless if everything sprang from him.

However, progress can sometimes emerge from unexpected places and situations, and Eos had isolated Eosah’s Reality for various purposes. Still, he could not anticipate that one of the final pieces of the puzzle keeping him from the ninth-dimensional level would reveal itself from this process.

Primordial Memory had used his overwhelming power over the Dimension of Memory to summon what was basically a Reflection of Rowan from the past. This was a copy so perfect that it could imitate 99.9999 percent of Rowan’s abilities, and only he would be able to easily pick out the difference between his original self and this imitation; however, for Eos, this imitation was flawed. At their level, perfection was truly needed, and only overwhelming power could break a ninth-dimensional technique.

On the surface, it might appear that Rowan was efficiently suppressing the Primordials, but that was only looking at their battles at a shallow layer. Every blow he threw against the Primordial had countless trillions of pieces of his Will and power fighting to breach the perfect walls of the Primordial’s defenses.

Rowan had struggled to battle Primordial Soul at the beginning, but he rapidly learnt and adapted to the defenses of the Primordials. However, what happened with Primordial Light and Primordial Memory did not follow the same process he had used for his battles.

Chronomancer Prime had been able to easily see the flaw in Primordial Light’s Will and take advantage of it; his serpents had been able to slip through the barrier of Aegis easily, and he had also taken over the Memory Technique of a Primordial relatively easily because the foundations of Reality had changed.

Unlike the main body of the Primordials, the Primordials that occupied Eosah’s Reality had built their bodies primarily from the Origin Forces taken from this Reality; in essence, the foundation of their power was based on this Reality, firmly tying them to it.

Eos had also been born inside this Reality, and like the Primordials, he was restricted by the rules of this Reality, but he never knew it; no man would believe he was a prisoner if the bars of his cell were everything he knew from birth.

With the main bodies of the Primordials standing outside Reality and thoroughly suppressing her fate, Rowan restricted himself to remain in the form of a child. Even when he had fully become a nascent reality, he forced himself to stay small constantly, that is, until his attempt to use the Final Form resulted in unexpected changes.

However, not all of these changes were bad, as he had just discovered. The Primordials may have acquired their freedom, but it also meant that he could now grow and no longer remain an infant.

It was unknown if the Primordials understood the full potential of Rowan before they left, and if they did not, he did not blame them. Even as an infant, his body was twice as big as Eosah’s, and there should have been no reason to suggest that he had not finished growing.

All of that did not matter now; they had left, and if they won their battles with the Beast of Final Rest, they would be back. Still, Rowan had unleashed his suppressed growth and became nearly a hundred times bigger than his previous size, and the entirety of Eosah’s Reality became as small as the thumb. He was still basically a teenage reality.

For the first time since his birth, Eos could exist outside of Eosah’s Reality. When he isolated his previous home from Limbo, cutting it off from any outside influence, Rowan had inadvertently done something extremely fundamental. He had placed a Reality, even if it was dead, inside a space of his own creation, essentially becoming the foundation for that Reality to rest upon.

Of course, this had cost him, and was still costing him a tremendous amount of energy, almost five times the amount he needed to maintain a sitting Primordial inside his body, but it was worth it.

It was easy to forget that, despite her condition, Eosah was a ninth-dimensional being, and although she was dead and her Origin Forces shattered, the mysteries of her being were nearly infinite. Holding Reality inside the space and time realm that he created, Eos could stand on higher ground and observe Reality, and so the mysteries of the ninth-dimensional oevel that he was slowly deciphering began to accelerate.

Eos knew he was not supposed to be able to observe the ninth dimension in this manner, but he had lucked upon it. So even as his serpents pursued the fleeing Primordial Memory, Prime coldly observing and documenting the process of Primordial Light falling apart, with Serathis, slowly strolling through the gardens of Primordial Light while every bit of green died behind her, he began to pursue this revelation from another angle, furiously.

He was not interested in this new weakness of the Primordials; if anything, this showed that Rowan could easily kill the average Primordials who possess few Origin Forces in their bodies, which was already outside the norm, as a Primordial was only supposed to have a single Origin Force inside their body. But, his main enemies did not have a few hundred Origin Forces in their bodies; they potentially had millions!

Eos did not know how much of that power was stripped from them when he used the Final Technique, but that may not matter when the Primordials had a lot to work with, and their endless hunger no longer hampered them.

He could now contain a Reality that had reached the ninth-dimensional level. So Eos believed that perhaps his quest to find a place suitable for him to root his Reality so he could reach the ninth-dimensional level may have a new solution.

Why should he have to depend on Limbo or the Cradle of Enoch in order to reach the ninth-dimensional level? Could he not build a place like that? OR maybe he could go a step further. Why could he not use his own body as the foundation for reaching the ninth-dimensional level?

His body was eternal and endless, and although the weight of his ninth-dimensional existence might be great, he had the bloodline of the Ouroboros Serpents, plus other major bloodlines whose concepts represented true infinity —the sort of Infinity that Limbo had. Perhaps he might be able to do something unexpected here.

Eos sighed as this new stream of thoughts flowed into his head and solidified, on one hand, he would be making many new Primordials and gathering the Origin essence they gave to him, this should fuel his growth, making it possible that he might be able to achieve true infininity using his power as the base, and on the other hand he would be pursuing the other avenue for power and freedom that he needed to take up.

Eos would have to get rid of the Primordial Record.
