Chapter 669: Chapter 73: King Against King

“Thud, thud, thud!”

The dull sound resonated as a mecha stepped into the combat area, and behind it, people came to carry away Atlantis.

Although Nilo dared not kill, the battles in the later stages ended with severe injuries every time.

“It’s Lynn.”

At the helm of the mecha was Lynn, a senior student.

“Lynn, he previously fought in the Mechanical God Realm contest and was defeated by the Blue Star Energy Technology Group’s representative,” Carter whispered to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth nodded; she knew, as she had witnessed that battle herself.

On the first day of the Blue Star Energy Technology Group’s weapon launch, the event was disrupted by the Mechanical King Guild, and their representatives proceeded to the arena.

At that time, she believed Lynn would win easily, but he was completely overpowered. After that, the representative from the Blue Star Energy Technology Group continued to dominate the competition, crushing Kaman and impressing the crowd, skyrocketing the company’s fame.

However, at the time, she did not realize just how strong their group’s representative was.

If the one who defeated Sterling came, he should be able to wipe out the Holy Temple Knights, right?

Unfortunately, she did not know who that was.

She was unsure if her master’s strength could match that of the Genius Mecha Master from the Blue Star Energy Technology Group, fearing that even her master might find it difficult.

After all, her master was only a student at Lucas University.

Elizabeth was curious about who exactly her master was. She thought she should know all the top students in the university unless there was someone who hadn’t revealed themselves. Could her master really hide that well?

Little did Elizabeth know, the two individuals she was comparing were actually the same person, and he was not even a student of the school.

At this moment, he was right beside her.

“The mecha is here,” Xu Mo remarked, oblivious to Elizabeth’s comparison of his two identities. Upon hearing Carter’s words, he remembered the Mechanical Master he had met – Lynn. Lynn’s mecha piloting skills were outstanding; his mecha was swift with strong explosive power, and his neural response was so quick that it displayed formidable combat power.

This level of skill could certainly qualify him as a mecha prodigy, perfect in all respects.

Yet, that Holy Temple Knight, Uno, the striking force of his blow earlier was very strong. In terms of speed, power, and explosive force, it was terrifying, and Lynn’s mecha probably had no advantage.

After Atlantis was carried away, Lynn’s mecha hovered in the air, jetting out energy from its thrusters, with the Energy Giant Sword held high in its hand. The tall mecha frame exuded an overpowering sense of strength.

Uno saw Lynn suspended in the air, the black Armor on his body flickering with a chilling black light, streams of luminescence flowing. His body was also hovering, and the cold eyes from within his helmet stared emotionlessly at his opponent, like a war machine.

The Holy Temple Knights were trained to be war monsters, born for battle.

“Boom!”

The roar of the mecha erupted as it burst forth, with Lynn’s mecha making the first move, turning into a resplendent flash of white lightning in the sky, creating a trail of afterimages. Across Lucas University and many places on Lucas Star, countless people watched the scene with clenched fists, involuntarily feeling tense.

Lynn must win.

They could all sense Uno’s might, as Atlantis had been brutally crushed.

If Lynn were to lose, there probably wouldn’t be many who could defeat Uno.

And yet, Uno might not even be the strongest within the Holy Temple Knights.

As the mecha charged forth, Uno surged out as well, turning into a black streak of light.

The figure clashed high in the sky. The mecha’s thrust was strong, its Energy Sword slashing ferociously. Like before, Uno’s black gleam swirled around his Shield, smashing it directly forward.

“Boom…”

A deafening blast resonated in the sky, with savage energy rampaging. Both of their bodies recoiled, but in the next moment, the mecha charged forward again, its roar loud as the Giant Sword slashed violently once more.

“Boom!” Another immense explosion, and Uno met the mecha head-on. This power left everyone watching in awe.

The mecha kept attacking with incredible speed, unleashing sword techniques with extreme ferocity, but Uno continuously placed his Shield in front, blocking every attack from the Giant Sword.

The continuous explosive sounds of impact echoed, energy exploding wildly, creating a terrifying storm. Uno was driven back under Lynn’s relentless assault, causing the people of Lucas University to grip their hands tightly, faces showing signs of excitement.

Could Lynn win?

But Xu Mo felt it was not looking good. Lynn’s offensive was too textbook, and though his neural response and attack speed were fast, Uno’s Shield was large enough to cover a wide defensive area. Placed in front and moved into position, it protected him well, and Lynn’s mecha couldn’t break through Uno’s defense.

This was clearly disadvantageous for Lynn, as Uno had been on the defensive the whole time, without even making use of his Long Spear yet.

“Buzz.” A flash of white lightning surged, and the Energy Giant Sword cleaved down again. Lynn’s mecha, speeding up both in velocity and attack rate, shook Uno back in the air until he was out of the combat zone.

By the sheer force of the mecha’s charging speed, the Giant Sword, carrying terrifying strength, slashed down at Uno’s raised Shield.

But in the split second that the Sword slashed down, Uno’s left arm shifted, opening up the defense from the front, and at the same time, utilizing the momentum of that twist, his right arm also moved. The black Long Spear, streaming with an extravagantly brilliant energy light, lunged in an instant, bursting forth to strike at the mecha’s head.
