The Strongest War God

Chapter 1977 The Straightforward Frediano

Chapter 1977: The Straightforward Frediano Chapter 1977: The Straightforward Frediano Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation Braydon Neal’s eyes widened.  He truly hadn’t expected Luke Yates to have a child.

And his wife was Cassandra Gabler.

She was a level ten being!

The others had come in search of the inheritance, but Luke wasn’t interested.  Instead, he married the palace master and even had a baby.

That was certainly a major win.

With Cassandra by Luke’s side in the future, who would dare challenge him?

Of course, Cassandra and Luke didn’t tell anyone about it.

When Hamish Moore arrived, he immediately understood Cassandra’s plan.  She likely wouldn’t venture beyond the starry sky again.

He smiled bitterly.

“The Heavenly Court of the past is shattered.

It’s just the two of us now.

I had no idea you had a daughter.

I should’ve brought a generous gift.” “There’s no need for that,” Cassandra gently shook her head.

The Heavenly Court had been destroyed, and they were lucky to still be alive.

Hamish was puzzled.

“You were cut down by that sword back then, and your body was suppressed by the small sword.

How did you recover so quickly?” “The mysterious creature that destroyed the Heavenly Court didn’t die.

It recalled the small black sword,” Cassandra explained, glancing at her daughter in her arms.

“It was when I was pregnant with her that the small sword was called back, allowing me to recover slightly.” “Recalled on its own?” Hamish was stunned.

What kind of luck was that?

To be spared by such a terrifying being.

“This brother of mine was born lucky!” Braydon shook his head lightly.

It was true.

Luke was indeed born fortunate.  He somehow ended up with a wife and even had a child.

Now, they were a happy family of three.

Hamish and Cassandra chatted for a while before parting ways.  Hamish left the starry sky, while Cassandra stayed with Luke, following him wherever he went.

Braydon held the little girl in his arms, watching her sip from a milk bottle.  He couldn’t help but smile and shake his head.

“This girl’s nothing like you.

You were much naughtier when you were her age.” “She might’ve had her moments,” Luke mumbled.

Whenever the little girl fussed, he and Cassandra would take turns trying to calm her down, but sometimes nothing worked.

The group left the eastern hall.

From 10,000 miles away, Tobey Lapras and Colton Jansky, who had been standing guard, called out, “Hey!

Over here, you fool!” “What are you two doing here instead of searching for something?” Luke asked, knowing full well the answer.

The three great calamities of the Northern Army had been inseparable for years.  These two were obviously waiting for their big brother, hoping for some benefits.

Colton’s eyes landed on Cassandra, and he instantly recoiled in shock.

“Eastern hall master!” Smack!

“Call her sister-in-law!” Luke smacked Colton on the head.

“Sister-in-law?” Colton stammered in confusion.

“What’s wrong?” Tobey was dumbfounded, then enraged.

“You and her?

And… who’s this little girl?” “Luke’s biological daughter,” Braydon added softly.

Instantly, Tobey and Colton were left speechless.

They exchanged stunned looks.

Luke had spent 23 years in the eastern hall.

Not only had he reaped all the rewards, but he’d also married the eastern hall master and had a child.

It seemed there was nothing left for them.

Braydon gazed south with his hands behind his back and asked softly, “Who’s in the western hall?” “Frediano went in a while ago… Wait, he couldn’t have done this too, right?” Tobey was shocked.

Frediano Jadanza had entered the western hall 19 years ago and hadn’t been heard from since.  Who knew what had happened to him!

In a flash, Braydon descended into the western hall.  The others couldn’t follow, but Braydon had the small black sword surrounding him, allowing him to push open the door and enter.

The small black sword glowed.

Fear flashed in Cassandra’s eyes as she gripped Luke’s hand and whispered, “Don’t play with him anymore.

Stay away from him.” “What’s wrong?” Luke quickly explained, fearing she might misunderstand.

“Don’t worry, my brother would never hurt me.

We grew up together and have always been close.” “He’s chosen by that being.

In the future…” Cassandra glanced at the starry sky but said nothing more, only reminding him, “He’s not like you.” What kind of existence was the small black sword?

It was a supreme weapon, capable of killing a level ten transcendent being.

At his peak, Braydon was only a level ten transcendent himself.  Now, he was merely an ancient immortal.

How could he refine the small black sword?

Cassandra could already tell something was amiss and warned Luke to stay away from Braydon.

The chosen ones were extremely dangerous.

Meanwhile, Braydon entered the western hall.

Eight of its nine floors had been shaved off, leaving only the first floor.

On the white throne sat a beautiful woman in red, her hair flowing like clouds, a phoenix hairpin on her head.  She exuded a noble aura, like a queen of the nine heavens, untouchable by anyone.

Frediano stood before her, eyes closed, radiating spiritual energy.

The woman was Jaylin Xiques, the West Hall Master.

A small black hole marked her forehead.

Inside was a small black sword, with 30% of its blade drawn out.

The hilt was exposed, and the sword emitted a faint, terrifying killing intent.

Braydon instantly understood what Frediano was attempting.  He raised a hand, signaling Tobey and the others to remain still.  Quietly, he unleashed a powerful sword intent into Frediano’s body.

This was the sword concept Braydon had learned from the small black sword.

Without hesitation, he injected all of it into Frediano’s body.

Frediano’s breath momentarily halted, but he quickly refined the sword intent, and his spiritual power surged once more.  He suddenly drew the small black sword, eyes sharp.

“Suppress!” No doubt about it.

Frediano wanted to subdue the small black sword as well.

But he was still lacking.

The small black sword was no easy opponent.

With a buzzing sound, it unleashed a beam of sword energy that sliced through the starry sky, destroying over a thousand planets.

Frediano was injured, coughing up blood and stumbling backward.

Braydon moved, unleashing a terrifying sword intent.

The banished immortals appeared, joining Braydon in suppressing the sword.

In just one day, Braydon had refined the small black sword.

The Hundred Tribulations Heavenly Art was truly terrifying.

It had taken Braydon three years to refine the first small black sword.

Now, with the help of the banished immortals, it only took a day to refine the second.

As expected, the western hall master had been resurrected.

She wasn’t entirely dead, much like Hamish.  She was now suppressed by the small sword.

She opened her eyes and looked at Frediano.

“Thank you.” “I saved you for the inheritance,” Frediano declared.

Frediano’s attitude was firm—he demanded the inheritance.
