The Strongest War God

Chapter 2022 The Person Who Demanded the Debts

Chapter 2022: The Person Who Demanded the Debts Chapter 2022: The Person Who Demanded the Debts Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation The weight of an overwhelming power fell from the Omnidirectional Stone Array.

“Who has summoned me back to life?” This ancient voice eclipsed even the heavenly force itself.

In a heartbeat.

The young man who’d been ready to strike, along with all living creatures across the worlds, knelt.

“Welcome, my Lord, to your awakening!” “My Lord is eternal and unmatched!” … Every world echoed with reverent voices.

Even the tenth level realm was no exception.

Kreig Jordahl had created them; he was their benefactor.

More importantly… Long ago, Kreig had poured his life’s work into the Omnidirectional Stone Array.

Where there was creation, there must also be destruction.

After all, no one ever claimed that level ten transcendents could not die.

Elder Juntenen had once been a level ten transcendent.

What became of him?

The first generation Braydon Neal had also been a level ten transcendent?

He’d seen some things, knowing that transcendent was not the final limit.

Thus, Kreig’s name still held an awe-inspiring power.

Braydon watched silently.  The fire didn’t harm him, so he was in no hurry.

More importantly, he couldn’t participate in this battle.

A Level Ten ominous beast was lurking in the shadows.

A lone figure was stirring back to life.

It was likely not fully dead.

Now that it had revived, trouble would certainly follow.

The tenth level beings across all realms bowed.

None dared challenge Kreig’s authority.

Only then did the members of the Lotus Feather Pavilion breathe a sigh of relief.

This was their last trump card, their only means of defense.  If they failed to intimidate the tenth level, they would face certain extinction today.

Luckily, Elder Juntenen had made the right wager.

“Master Kreig!” Elder Juntenen called out in the ancient tongue to awaken Kreig’s body.

“Juntenen Drescher, the last disciple of the saint region, greets Master Kreig!” Kreig.

He claimed to be the last disciple of the saint region.

Upon hearing this, the tenth level beasts across realms reacted visibly.

Kreig rose slowly.  His gaze seemed to pierce through infinite illusions, staring straight into Elder Juntenen’s heart.  He spoke slowly, “The saint region once faced great disaster.

Were there any disciples who survived?” “I come from Casper Pavilion; my master is Jodeci Weber.” Elder Juntenen’s words were evasive, but he was evidently closely connected to the saint region.

Braydon’s eyes gleamed.

The Lotus Feather Pavilion had concealed itself well.

Perhaps the first to find the ruins of the third universe’s creator wasn’t the Dlael Spiritual Sect, but the Lotus Feather Pavilion.

The reason was simple.

With Braydon’s sharpness, he could guess that the mysterious force which destroyed Gadin Jennings long ago might still be lurking.  This force could destroy anything it wished.

Even Kreig hadn’t survived.

So how had Elder Juntenen slipped through?

Was he truly a disciple of Casper Pavilion, or Jodeci Weber?

The only plausible answer was that Elder Juntenen had once entered the saint region and received Casper Pavilion’s teachings, which was why he claimed to be Jodeci Weber’s disciple.

Kreig had long since perished.  Was it his lingering obsession that had revived him, or a wisp of his undestroyed soul?

Many things from the past could no longer be confirmed.

Elder Juntenen indeed practiced Casper Pavilion’s methods.

Kreig’s body looked off into the distance and said slowly, “How can there be eternal ruin from ancient times?

The saint region was once so powerful.

It ended up like this.” “We are unwilling, too.

Yet, what can we do in the end?” Kreig’s tone was heavy with regret.

From this, Braydon could deduce Kreig had already fallen.

What controlled his body now wasn’t a soul fragment.

It was mere obsession.

If the soul had survived, he’d be fighting to revive, like Gadin.

As Braydon’s thoughts flashed by, Someone intruded into this mysterious place once more.

A devilish young man with horns and dressed in white laughed wildly.

“Haha, after days of searching, I finally found it.” “And who is it that seeks me?” Kreig’s body turned gradually, standing atop the altar, gazing down at the intruder.  He peered intently and said slowly, “I sense a familiar aura from you.” “Kreig, I’m here to collect a debt.” The devilish youth’s eyes gleamed with a silent message.

Kreig’s body quivered.

“Lord Gadin?” he echoed in astonishment.

It was Braydon’s old acquaintance, Gadin.

After escaping, this old fox had returned to the outside world, possessing a body and resuming cultivation.  His progress was swift, reaching this place once more.

More surprising, he cared nothing for the third universe’s inheritance.  He’d found Kreig’s burial site instead.

Gadin folded his arms and said indifferently, “Long ago, the Heavenly Court faced catastrophe.

My soul escaped destruction, but I only managed to flee recently.

Now, I must cultivate anew.

I’m here to borrow a technique.” “Thanks to your teachings, Lord Gadin, I reached the tenth level.

I didn’t expect that my small path would now hold value for you.” In his prime, Kreig had been a double level ten.

However, Gadin and the saint region’s master had surpassed the tenth level for countless years.

To Kreig, they were powerful figures.

Even valued, he hadn’t held status on their level.

Gadin had resumed cultivation and now valued the Kreig’s path.

“I’ll gladly offer whatever you seek, my lord,” Kreig replied slowly.

“Don’t play coy.

You’re not fully dead.” Gadin’s words shocked many.

Kreig wasn’t completely dead?

What could this mean?

Only Braydon, watching from afar, remained calm.

He wasn’t surprised Kreig wasn’t entirely gone.

The reason was straightforward.

Many Heavenly Court survivors hadn’t fully perished.

He’d even let Luke Yates find a wife among them.

Braydon couldn’t help but smile, thinking of that silly boy.

Leaving these rogues for so long—who knew what they’d do?

Kreig’s body gazed at Gadin and said, “My lord, you overestimate me.

In ages past, I was terrifying.

First, I razed the Heavenly Court, then the saint region.

From the highest lords down, no one survived.

They all perished here.” “Is that so?” Gadin smirked.

“If you want to hide, hide well.

I owe you for lending me a path.

In return, I’ll go first.

Should we face any more horrors, I’ll clear the way.” “My lord, your righteousness is unmatched!” Kreig raised his hand.

A golden light formed at his fingertip and flew to Gadin.

“This contains all I’ve cultivated over my lifetime.” “Thank you deeply!” Gadin caught it and pressed it to his forehead, closing his eyes to savor its depths and nodding in approval.

It was genuine.

Kreig had concealed nothing.

Meanwhile, Gadin’s gaze swept through the various macro worlds, settling on one filled with birds and flowers.

It was an oasis of tranquility—no battles, no killing.

It seemed harmony reigned there.
