Chapter 1762: I’ll Bug The Respawn System!

Villain Ch 1762. I’ll Bug The Respawn System!

Allen’s eyes narrowed. “Then I’ll bug the respawn system.”

“Now that’s illegal,” Alice smiled, clearly impressed.

“Still worth it.”

The wind howled again. Louder this time. Somewhere in the distance, a distorted wolf cry echoed across the mountains, long and glitchy.

Then Zoe’s voice came in, dry and oddly casual for someone with half-frozen tentacles.

“You could just seduce her.”

Allen blinked. “What.”

Jane actually snapped her fingers. “Oh. That’s a good idea.”

“Wait, what,” Allen repeated, a little louder this time, turning just enough to see their faces.

Vivian was biting her lower lip, visibly enjoying the mental image.

Alice leaned on her broom. “I mean… it would work. She’s glitchy. You’re glitchy. That’s basically compatibility.”

Even Larissa gave a thoughtful hum. “You do have a habit of making women malfunction.”

The group looked at him, expectant. Like they were already planning the fanart.

Allen stared at the icy horizon, expression unreadable.

Then, after a long pause—

“…Maybe I should,” Allen muttered.

Dry. Cool. Just sarcastic enough that no one could tell if he was joking.

And that, of course, made it worse.

The air cracked around them, tension thicker than the ice beneath their boots. Even the wind seemed to stutter.

Jane leaned subtly toward Bella, eyes not leaving Allen. “Is he serious or not?”

Bella cringed and whispered back, “How do I know? He once blew up a dungeon boss because it looked smug.”

“That was justified,” Jane said without blinking.

Allen still didn’t say a word.

But the faint smirk at the corner of his mouth?

That was the real problem.

It wasn’t big.

Barely there.

The kind of smirk that made even corrupted snow wolves take a step back like ‘yeah, maybe we spawncamped the wrong party.’

Zoe squinted at him. “Okay, not to be dramatic, but can you not smirk like that while the terrain is literally cracking under us?”

Vivian grinned. “No no no—let him cook.”

“Let him what?” Shea hissed, wings flaring. “We’re standing on a glacier death trap!”

“I mean, look at him,” Vivian purred. “That’s the face of a man who’s about to uninstall someone’s soul.”

The ice groaned again.

“Oh gods,” Bella muttered, clutching her fireballs like comfort plushies. “We’re gonna die sexy, aren’t we?”

Jane deadpanned, “Speak for yourself. I still haven’t filed my death insurance.”

As they climbed a steep ridge of cracked frost, the wind hit harder. In the distance, something howled. Low. Feral. Hungry. A second howl answered it from across the valley—louder. Deeper.

Vivian tensed. “Those aren’t wolves.”

“Nope,” Larissa said.

Zoe narrowed her eyes. “Definitely not standard mobs either.”

The snow around them shifted. Not fell. Shifted. Like something was crawling just beneath.

Allen raised a hand.

Everyone stopped.

For a moment, the world was still. Just the wind. Just the mountain’s groan. Just the hum of frost and death.

Then—

A rumble.

Low.

Building.

Then the sound of splintering ice—

Right beneath them.

“Oh come on,” Vivian shrieked.

“Formation!” Allen snapped.

The girls snapped to position.

The snow burst upward like a geyser.

And from beneath—

Ice Wolves.

Massive. Misshapen. White fur twisted with crystal veins. Fangs like spears. Eyes glowing with error-code red.

[HOSTILES DETECTED: LVL 240 – GLACIAL BEAST PACK]

[WARNING: CORRUPTED SPAWN – BUGGED CREATURE CLASS]

Allen’s sword flipped into his hand.

“Finally,” he muttered, a grin cutting across his face. “Something to warm us up.”

Vivian purred beside him, whip glowing with demonic hunger. “Let’s break the game.”

And then—

Hell froze over.

And they attacked.

The snow exploded around them like a landmine going off, white plumes swallowing visibility as glitch-static crawled along the edges of the world.

Allen moved first.

The first wolf lunged.

It was massive—easily twice his size—crystalline fangs bared, claws extended, but there was a frame skip as it moved. One moment it was five meters away, the next it was already at his throat, lag-distorted like reality couldn’t track it.

Allen twisted, cloak flaring, and slashed in a horizontal arc.

The wolf blinked.

Literally. It blinked.

Not dodging—glitching.

His blade passed through nothing.

Allen’s eyes narrowed. “They’re phasing.”

Before the creature could reappear, he spun, reversed grip, and stabbed behind him.

Metal met flesh. A spray of black data and frost.

[CRITICAL!]

[BUGGED HITBOX CONFIRMED]

“Got you,” he muttered. The beast twitched, let out a low garbled screech, and collapsed—chunks of its body flickering between textures. Some of it still looked like snow. Other parts were code strings.

Behind him, chaos had already ignited.

Vivian danced through the battlefield like a storm in heels. Her whip cracked in hypnotic spirals, glowing with the scent of Lust, lashing across three wolves at once.

‘Demonic Frenzy.’

[Combo x4 – Damage Multiplier +80%]

“Down, boys,” she purred. “Down hard.”

A nearby wolf tried to flank her.

Too late.

Her tail coiled around its hind leg and yanked. The creature yelped, tripped, and she jammed her heel directly into its skull—driving it down like a spike.

Across the ridge, Zoe roared.

Her tentacles burst from her back in a savage wave of water and muscle, slamming into a frozen beast that had leapt at her.

The snow under her warped with steam.

‘Depths’ Grasp.’

“Glitch this,” she growled, crushing it with full Kraken weight.

Ice shattered. Bone cracked. The wolf dissolved into pixel dust.

Shea flew overhead in tight, sharp arcs. Wind spells carved paths behind her like jagged slashes across the air.

‘Sonic Screech.’

The siren twisted midair and dived, slicing into two wolves like a living missile. Feathers flicked out—blades in disguise. Blood and broken ice sprayed the field.

Alice cackled somewhere near the edge of the ridge.

“Come to me, puppies~”

She lifted her hand—and the world around her folded.

A black sphere formed. Humming. Warped.

Screams echoed from within.

‘Void Sphere.’

[Target Radius Pulled In – 6 Units]

The bugged wolves were yanked mid-air, physics breaking entirely. One froze mid-jump. One spun into itself like a Mobius strip of legs and jaws. Then—BOOM. The sphere exploded in a radius of unstable arcane discharge.
