Chapter 1853: Harem Vacation [Part 5]

Villain Ch 1853. Harem Vacation [Part 5]

Zoe’s tank top barely hung on one shoulder.

Vivian’s shirt kept sliding further up her thighs.

Jane’s shorts were—God, were they even shorts at this point?

Bella’s dress might as well have been made of fog.

He tapped his fork against the plate. “If I survive this weekend, I’m getting a medal.”

“Nope,” Vivian said cheerfully. “You’ll get eight girlfriends and a permanent limp.”

“Reward unlocked,” Zoe deadpanned.

“Overstimulated Emperor,” Jane whispered with a straight face.

Allen stared at them. “You’ve all lost it.”

“You love it,” they all said—nearly in sync.

He leaned back in the chair, shaking his head slowly, lips twitching despite himself.

Of course they were right.

Of course they were playing this game.

The ‘act cute, wear less, pretend this is just a wholesome vacation’ game.

And they were winning.

The warm scent of roasted chicken and truffle mashed potatoes still hung thick in the air, mingled with the sharper notes of citrus and herbs, undercut by Zoe’s vanilla shampoo and Vivian’s goddamn expensive perfume that smelled like confidence and danger.

The soft scrape of forks, the clink of juice glasses, and the muffled sound of the wind pressing against the villa windows gave everything an odd kind of peace.

It didn’t match the chaos that kept walking in.

Shea came next.

She wore a silky, midnight-blue wrap blouse cinched at the waist with a gold-trimmed ribbon, the neckline draping just enough to hint without revealing. Her high-waisted cream trousers hugged her hips with effortless grace, tailored to perfection.

A delicate chain necklace caught the light at her collarbone, and her heels clicked softly against the polished floor. Her long hair was swept over one shoulder, sleek and styled like she belonged in a luxury magazine shoot.

She paused at the entrance, scanned the room with a slow smile, and said, “God, it smells amazing in here. I’m starving.”

Allen blinked.

Now that was dangerous.

Refined. Regal.

Like someone planning to seduce you with manners and then ruin you behind closed doors.

Then came Alice.

Hair perfectly tousled like she’d just woken up on silk sheets she didn’t pay for.

She wore a high-slit black maxi dress with lace trim and a neckline that defied gravity—elegant, dramatic, and way too dangerous for a casual lunch. No accessories. No shoes. No warning.

She strolled in like the hallway belonged to her, like the villa had been built just to frame her entrance.

“Lunch smells divine,” she purred, sliding into the seat beside Bella with the grace of someone who’d never tripped in her life.

Vivian glanced her way. “You look like temptation bottled.”

Alice smiled, unbothered. “It’s called vacation couture.”

“You mean bedroom cosplay,” Zoe said, not looking up.

“Same thing,” Alice replied sweetly.

She crossed her legs, leaned her elbows on the counter, and sighed contentedly.

“So, what are we going to do tonight?” she mused. “Please, not another Netplik horror movie about possessed dolls.”

Jane looked up. “You say that like it wasn’t art.”

“It gave me trust issues about music boxes,” Alice deadpanned.

Larissa followed next. A loose silk robe hung open over a matching bralette and shorts set, dark purple with lace trim that looked made for sin. She carried her wine glass like a trophy.

“Well, aren’t we a gorgeous little cult,” she said, taking the seat next to Bella.

“Do cults wear this little?” he asked.

“Only the best ones,” Larissa replied.

And finally—Azura.

Last to arrive.

Hair damp from a recent shower, face freshly moisturized, still wearing a towel draped around her shoulders. She had on what could be classified as loungewear, but only barely. A soft baby-blue camisole that left nothing to the imagination. Bare legs. Cheeks pink.

She walked like she regretted everything.

Allen’s brain flatlined for a second.

Azura.

Cool, sharp-tongued Azura.

Wearing that.

On purpose.

He took a slow, silent bite of potato and said absolutely nothing.

The conversation at the table flowed around him like a warm river of ridiculousness.

“So I was thinking,” Shea said between bites, “we should do a group hike tomorrow. You know. Touch grass. Exist in nature.”

Vivian scoffed. “You mean touch Allen against a tree.”

Shea grinned. “Tomato, tomato.”

Zoe raised her glass. “As long as there’s no bugs, I’m in.”

“There will be bugs,” Jane said flatly. “And you’ll scream.”

“I will,” Zoe agreed with no shame. “And I’ll make it your problem.”

Larissa sipped her wine. “I vote we hike a little. Enough to pretend we’re health-conscious. Then come back and do spa masks.”

“Agreed,” Bella said. “Plus, I brought a jade roller. And nipple balm.”

Azura nearly choked on her juice. “Why do you need that?”

“Why don’t you need that?” Bella replied innocently.

“I—what?”

“She’s shy,” Vivian purred. “It’s adorable.”

“I’m not shy,” Azura mumbled, stabbing her salad with more force than necessary. “I’m just… logical.”

“Logic doesn’t survive here,” Jane said, popping a cherry tomato into her mouth. “Ask Allen.”

Allen didn’t even look up. “Nope. It doesn’t. Expect the worst.”

Azura paused mid-stab. “…That’s bad.”

He finally glanced at her, expression deadpan. “That’s the point.”

Vivian giggled behind her glass. “Oh, sweetie. You’ll adjust. Or snap. Either way, we win.”

Azura looked around, her eyes darting from Shea to Bella to Zoe—who all gave her the kind of smiles that said welcome to the jungle.

She sighed softly and muttered, “I knew I should’ve packed holy water.”

Allen took another bite.

Because this was how they worked.

Chaotic. Teasing.

Pretending like they weren’t planning to jump him before sunrise.

And him?

He was just eating chicken.

Like it would protect him from the absolute storm brewing around him in heels, satin, and too much lip gloss.

And that’s when Alice—who had been waiting like a predator—struck.

“Oh!” she said brightly. “After dinner, we should play board games!”

Dead silence.

Then Bella blinked. “Wait. You brought board games?”

Alice grinned. “Yup. A whole suitcase. I curated them.”

“Waaah~ I love board games!” Shea clapped her hands. “It’s been forever since I played one!”
