Chapter 959 Blood Feast

Villain Ch 959. Blood Feast

Shea laughed, her voice echoing across the battlefield with an evil, mocking tone. “Yes, that’s what you guys should do,” she sneered, her eyes fixed on the chaotic mess below her. The sight of once-coordinated players now swinging wildly at each other, stumbling and fighting among themselves, filled her with twisted delight.

It was a scene of utter pandemonium, exactly what she had intended with her melody.

Sophia looked around in horror. The battlefield had become a nightmare. Her comrades were caught in a web of confusion, their weapons now turned against each other rather than their enemies. She could see the anguish and frustration in their eyes, but there was nothing she could do but watch, helpless, as they struggled against an invisible enemy within their minds.

Liam, who had been holding his own against Alice, suddenly found himself reeling from the effects of Shea’s melody. His usually sharp and precise strikes became sluggish, his movements erratic. His hammer now felt like a burden in his hands. He stumbled forward, swinging aimlessly at the shadows dancing in his vision.

Alice, seeing her opportunity, smirked wickedly. The witch’s eyes glowed with dark energy as she began to chant an incantation, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. “Shadow Bind,” she whispered, her voice like silk as tendrils of darkness shot out from her fingertips. The shadows on the ground rose up, wrapping around Liam’s legs and arms, holding him in place.

He struggled, but the more he fought, the tighter the shadows constricted.

“Feeling a little stuck, aren’t we?” Alice teased, her tone dripping with condescension. She flicked her wrist, and the shadows tightened further, causing Liam to cry out in pain. His strength was being drained by the dark energy, his health bar slowly ticking down as the shadows leached his life force.

Meanwhile, INeedAHotGF wasn’t faring any better. The confusion had him disoriented, his movements jerky and uncoordinated. He tried to focus on Bella, but his vision was blurred, and his sense of direction was completely off. The usually nimble player found himself stumbling, barely able to keep his balance.

Bella watched him with an amused smile, her fox tails waving behind her in excitement. She decided to toy with him a bit before going in for the kill. “Flame Burst,” she called out, her voice melodic and sweet.

A ball of fire formed in her hands, crackling with energy. She hurled it toward INeedAHotGF, watching with satisfaction as the flames engulfed him. He tried to dodge, but his movements were sluggish, and the fireball struck him square in the chest. The impact sent him flying back, his health bar taking a massive hit.

He groaned, struggling to push himself up, but Bella wasn’t done yet. She conjured another elemental attack, this time summoning a swirling vortex of wind and ice. “Ice Grasp,” she said with a grin, sending the icy blast toward her target. The wind howled as it wrapped around INeedAHotGF, freezing him in place. Ice crystals formed on his skin, and he shivered violently as his health continued to drop. “You look cold,” Bella mocked, her voice filled with false concern. “Let me warm you up.” She flicked her fingers, and the ice melted, only to be replaced by a surge of electricity that coursed through his body. His scream echoed through the battlefield, a sound of pure agony.

Sophia, seeing her allies being systematically torn apart, felt a surge of panic. Her heart raced as she tried to think of something—anything—that could turn the tide. But with her cooldowns still active and her teammates falling one by one, her options were limited. She could only watch as Bella and Alice toyed with their prey, prolonging their suffering for their own twisted pleasure.

The battlefield was in complete disarray, with her allies either dead, dying, or lost in the confusion of Shea’s melody. It was a scene of utter despair, and Sophia knew that if she stayed, she would be next.

Panic gripped her. She had no choice but to run. With a glance at the chaos around her, Sophia made her decision. She turned and began to flee.

But Shea had been waiting for this moment. The siren’s laughter echoed through the air. Shea’s eyes locked onto the retreating figure of the priestess, and she launched herself into the air, her body propelled by a powerful beat of her wings. This time, however, her harp was silent. Instead, she prepared her blade wings, razor-sharp feathers that gleamed menacingly.

“You think you can escape me?” Shea sneered, her voice cold and mocking. She ascended quickly, her wings carrying her effortlessly through the air as she closed the distance between them.

Sophia glanced back and saw Shea gaining on her, her heart sinking with dread. She pushed herself to run faster, but it was clear she was no match for Shea’s speed and agility.

Shea was upon her in seconds, and without hesitation, she unleashed her attack. “Blade Storm,” she hissed, her wings flaring wide as she released a flurry of blade feathers. The air around them filled with the deadly projectiles, each one aimed with precision at the fleeing priestess.

Sophia’s instincts screamed at her to dodge, but the sheer number of blades made it impossible to avoid them all. The first blade grazed her shoulder, cutting through her robes and skin with ease. She cried out in pain, her movement faltering as blood began to seep from the wound. More blades followed, slicing into her arms, her back, her legs.

“Stop!” Sophia screamed, her voice cracking with fear and desperation. She tried to cast a barrier, but her hands trembled uncontrollably, and the words of the incantation slipped from her mind as quickly as she tried to grasp them.

Shea’s laughter filled the air, dark and triumphant. “Scream louder, priestess. No one can save you now,” she taunted, circling above Sophia like a vulture waiting to feast on a dying animal. Her eyes gleamed with cruel satisfaction as she watched the priestess falter.
