Chapter 1898: Cap 1894: Our target is the Chimera
Chapter 1898: Cap 1894: Our target is the Chimera
Pov Igor:
I simply stood inside the Chaos Bringer’s Ship, my eyes glowing with the use of my Abilities, my glasses greatly enhancing my visual capabilities.
I saw the techniques activate simultaneously. Activating just one of these rituals is difficult, but he performed several simultaneously. There were four in total, five if I count the activation of the binding ritual among all the other rituals.
I saw the Infernal Chimera, one of the first models of the Infernal experiments, also one of the 14 surviving. I don’t know which one it could be.
This Infernal environment seems to be evolving, based on the concepts. It seems this was done in a calculated way, and it also seems they calculated which monsters to summon. I was certain of my hypothesis when the second creature appeared, the Titan of Taint. I also noticed that the Beasts are still invading through the portal. These Beasts have grown stronger, much more so than usual.
“(Merchant, does this space represent the same thing as a creature?)” (me)
“(Yes, this territory functions as a shadow of Hell. As such, you are within the Shadow of an Entity. Even if it isn’t controlling anything, it still can’t be broken by any of you.)” (Merchant)
“…” (me)
I continued observing. I felt Callidora’s daughter stop beside me. I also noticed her two servants behind her, but their presence didn’t bother me; I had something to accomplish.
Continuing to observe how this place changed for the third time with the next creature, I noticed two patterns.
The first pattern was that this environment was forming a symbiotic relationship with these Infernal Creatures. These three creatures, each representing gates, are pillars of essence in this place, as if this were a mini-universe and these three Infernal Creatures were the very fundamental essence of this universe, shaping this reality. The ever-increasing number of infernal monsters were like creatures being nurtured within their perfect environments, like Fairies within their magical domains and Spirits in their spiritual worlds.
The second pattern I noticed was that the flow of energy here wasn’t created naturally; it was something artificial, something created by the sum and stacking of the power of these three creatures. They weren’t energies in harmony flowing together in a single natural flow.
What I perceived was literally a Chimera. These energies are forcibly unique to one another, like body parts stitched together into a single creature, which is why this power seems so abrupt and artificial.
The monsters change so quickly because this power literally invades their bodies, forcing the change. This doesn’t come without consequences, but they are disposable, like everything else Hell possesses.
One thing was clear: the basis of all this was the Chimera that emerged first. It was the foundation that connected these monsters to the flow of this place, as well as the other two creatures in this environment. Its connection point, as well as the weakest link, would destroy the balance of this entire place.
“Miss Niryna, I apologize for the inconvenience of delaying my introduction. I am Igor, Avatar of the Merchant.” (Me)
“It doesn’t matter. I’m relieved to see you analyze the situation so thoroughly. I can’t tell my Father anything because I don’t fully understand, so your collaboration with him helps a lot.” (Niryna)
“So you can’t share anything?” (Me)
“No, the System doesn’t allow it. It would be a violation of the agreement between Callidora and the System.” (Niryna)
“I understand, thank you for your honesty.” (me)
“Don’t try to outsmart me, Igor. I appreciate the collaboration I have with the Merchant, but I don’t like others meddling in my affairs.” (Callidora)
Suddenly, Lady Callidora emerges from Niryna’s back. Her translucent body and beautiful appearance cannot fool me. I know all too well the terror of this Entity, with whom I have done business many times, so I bow before her with the barest minimum of courtesy.
“I wouldn’t do something like that, Callidora.” (me)
“I just asked bluntly what could and couldn’t be revealed. I wouldn’t push my limits or do anything that went against the rules your Envoy set.” (me)
“Then I won’t interrupt, go… show me a beautiful spectacle… hahahahaha…” (Callidora)
“(I couldn’t find the Stigmatized Target the Envoy mentioned, but the most likely targets are the 3 pillars or the Envoy of Hell himself.)” (me)

Pov Zenos:
“This is going to be difficult…” (Ronan)
“Will we have to fight these things while still keeping an eye on our enemies?” (me)
“Yes, that’s why I said it would be difficult…” (Ronan)
“Don’t try to hold back your power, or you’ll die.” (Davoth)
“…” (Me)
After saying that, we all turned to face the Beasts’ portal. A second wave of Beasts began to fly out, transforming like the others before, but this time they didn’t run toward those floating forests, they ran toward those who were here for the event, which included us.
“I’ll take care of them, it won’t take long.” (Ronan)
“No need, actually, this is perfect… I really needed an army.” (me)
“< Eclipse Blood Curse: Zombie Leech > ×1000” (me)
My Divine power and Anomalous power blend with my Will. I use my blood to form a Leech before instilling some of my Concept into it. Even though it’s flawed, it will still work. This isn’t a technique I created; in fact, it’s part of a forbidden technique created by a powerful vampire. I simply studied this technique and adapted it to my needs. Even though it’s useless against people close to my power level, it becomes a perfect weapon against masses of enemies like this.
I create a thousand of these Leeches and launch them, with needles of crystallized blood, at the infernal creatures coming our way.
“This won’t work against infernal creatures, especially if they’re already being controlled.” (Ronan)
“He never said he’d use the monsters; he talked about creating an army.” (Sarazar)
“I modified this forbidden art; in the end, it became even more absurd, but I don’t intend to teach it to anyone.” (Me)
As I spoke, the creatures were already close to us, only hundreds of kilometers away. But before they could advance any further, the blood needles I sent hit them. Since they were being controlled by me, each needle hit a target. There were no serious injuries from these needles, and none of these creatures possibly felt the puncture.
Snap
I didn’t need to do anything, but I thought snapping my fingers would make a cool effect as the needles turned back into blood, running down the creatures’ bodies. Then, the Leeches, already in the wound the needle left, invaded their bodies.
It didn’t take even half a second for all the creatures to stop advancing, begin to writhe and attack their surroundings, meaning they were attacking each other. They were in full Berserk mode, which lasted another three seconds before their bodies began to be torn apart from the inside out.
Blades, claws, spikes, teeth, and tentacles emerged from their bodies, all made of blood. As the waves tore their bodies apart, the blood drained until nothing remained, leaving the remains of their bodies completely dried out. As their blood formed, they formed a blood creature with a Leech head.
The blood creature had bodies similar to the creature from which it originated, but its heads were different—their heads were always those of a Leech. As soon as they formed, they began to attack the surrounding Infernal creatures. Any beast that was bitten, scratched, or allowed even a drop of blood from my blood creatures to enter their bodies would become another part of my army.
These Blood Creatures have no vital points, because the very blood from which they are formed carries their vitality, as well as their energy, power, and Vitality, which could be replenished from their victims. They are difficult to defeat and spread like in zombie movies, a truly forbidden art that could annihilate entire worlds and universes in the hands of someone with malicious intent.
Their numbers began to increase slowly at first. After all, there were only a thousand Blood Creatures, but within minutes they were tens of thousands, and the numbers grew faster and faster.
“Should we coordinate an attack on someone?” (me)
“It would be best to act against Hatred…” (Ronan)
“[You should focus on the Chimera; he’s our primary target.]” (Igor)
“…” (me)
Everyone turned to the same spot where a crystal sphere floated with an image of Igor’s head as he spoke.
“Is he the target of the event?” (me)
“[I’m not sure, but if they finish him off, the Infernal creatures will weaken greatly.]” (Igor)
“That was a very reasonable plan.” (Davoth)
“But how do we get to him?” (me)
“[You don’t need to do anything; he’s coming to you for challenging your control over the monsters.]” (Igor)
I try to look from a distance, but I don’t see him anywhere. He’s no longer beside Callidora’s Envoy. I look around more closely.
War is still facing that gigantic thing on a cosmic scale. The Ascended are facing the Infernal creatures, but the two leaders are gone.
Curse is standing with Hatred and Greed, facing that Demon. It’s a very intense battle.
“Where are Mavor and Vecna?” (me)
“They’re coming our way, I have no doubt.” (Davoth)
“Damn it, he’s here!” (me)
“He’s strong, so strengthen yourselves to the fullest.” (Ronan)
“[Be careful, I confirmed that Callidora’s Envoy is also on his way. What everyone sees still standing there is just an illusion. I also detected the two Ascensions coming our way.]” (Igor)
“(Why does everything always have to be so complicated.)” (me)
We were overwhelmed with so many eyes on me. I was becoming highly alert, and I was preparing to give it my all, much less use this power carelessly, especially since I can’t lose consciousness here.
“(Let’s go all out…)” (me)
I look at everyone concentrating their powers and realize they’re doing the same as me, which shows we’ll have a tough battle ahead.
