Chapter 1940: Cap 1936: Keep going!
Chapter 1940: Cap 1936: Keep going!
Pov Igor:
Hours before Zenos leaves for the attack.
“They’ll be leaving in a few hours… I need to leave soon…” (me)
I was looking at the Void Dimensional Vessel. I didn’t expect to have to use this treasure here, nor did I expect to take such a big risk with this plan.
“(Stop being so afraid, benefits and risks always go hand in hand, every merchant knows that.)” (Merchant)
“Easy to say, it’s not your neck that can be ripped off!” (me)
“Unlike other Entities, you will never incarnate in my body. You never have, and you probably never will, right?” (me)
“(I have my own body, I don’t need to borrow one to move around.)” (Merchant)
“You just want a right-hand man to help with the business, I always knew that, but why do this!?” (me)
“This plan could very well be my last!” (me)
“(The plan is yours.)” (Merchant)
“I thought you would suggest changes to the plan or contribute a safer plan!” (me)
“(If I help every step of the way, how could you possibly learn?)” (Merchant)
“…” (me)
These damn tests, he’s always trying to teach me. He’s been doing it for centuries since I became Avatar, and I’m not sure he hasn’t been doing it my entire life.
I know all Entities are inherently manipulative, but the Merchant is a real bastard who enjoys steering people toward an outcome that favors him. For him, everything is a deal, everything is a gamble, and that’s why it’s worth the investment of your time.
“Sir, we’re ready to go.” (Neymar)
“The Mirror of the Damned, where is it?” (me)
“It’s locked and guarded as always, it’s inside the Ship…” (Neymar)
“Let everyone know we’re leaving.” (me)
“Also tell them to perform the mirror release ritual.” (me)
“Sir, we’re not really going to release that thing, are we!?” (Neymar)
“Let’s release it and then lock it back up.” (me)
“Sir, that thing is very dangerous; it can destroy all barriers, devour the power of reality, and tear apart even Concepts!” (Neymar)
“The Harbinger of Chaos cannot be released!” (Neymar)
“I know all this, I appreciate your goodwill, but I know what I’m doing.” (me)
“Now do as I command!” (me)
“Sir, please…” (Neymar)
“Don’t make me repeat myself!!!” (me)
“…” (me)
I could see his reluctance; it wasn’t hard to understand. Anyone who knew about that thing would be terrified at the mere thought of it breaking free, even I’m doing my best not to tremble at the mere thought of what I’m about to do.
My employee looked terrified as he turned to run ahead, but within a few steps, he fell to the ground and rolled, clutching his leg.
Even though he’s so competent at his job, he has a nasty habit of falling and injuring his leg, a curse that has become a habit even after he’s healed.
“I just hope everything works out…” (me)

Pov Urd:
As soon as we passed through the portal, I was shocked by what I was seeing and feeling. The Ascendant Laws were being corroded, destroyed at their very foundations as if they were burning. A horrible energy emanated from the most central point of this galaxy, sending shivers down even my spine.
“(What is this…!?)” (me)
It was sickening to see this. I could feel the Ascending Laws disintegrating, I could hear them shattering. It was a horrible sensation, millions of years of study and innocent sacrifices destroyed into nothingness, all the loss that had gone into forming these Laws in vain before their destruction.
This was the center of this universe. I could feel the Universal Core being devastated, something parasitic within it. I could feel the power of Hatred trying to spread. My heart felt like it would burst.
I didn’t even realize Zenos had already made his move until I saw his enormous Dragon silhouette advancing with his Divine Beasts following.
“Advance!!” (me)
With that, I leaped out of this Universal Golem, and as my wings unfolded, all the Laws that had previously been destroyed gathered in my hand. I used my Aura to condense a staff while simultaneously repairing the damaged Laws.
“Attack!!” (me)
“< Divine Law: Holy Judgment >” (me)
I could see that wave of horrific energy revealing the bubbles of reality as well as forming the enemies that had previously hidden themselves: Creatures emanating the Anomalous power.
From space, the Laws gathered in one point under my command before forming a large hammer held by an energy arm similar to mine, which dropped the hammer on them.
The creatures all acted strangely, moving out of sync as they resisted my attack while another creature advanced toward me from one of those bubbles of reality.
Before I could do anything, a tree branch pierced its body, and its body filled with cracks as its appearance shattered, revealing its true face.
It was a humanoid creature in black armor. Its body wasn’t emanating the Anomalous power, but rather emitted the power of the Concept of Hatred.
These creatures didn’t seem to be affected by the branch that pierced one of their bodies; it simply ripped off the branch, which was corroded by the power of Hatred until it withered into nothing.
Their raw power was immense and didn’t seem to be affected by the Concept of Rebirth, but it was at this moment that many of these creatures were attacked, and with it, they all lost the illusion that surrounded them, revealing their bodies to everyone.
It became obvious that there were no Beasts or Anomalous creatures; these were merely disguises to hide their appearances and presence.
It was clear that something was about to happen. That’s when we saw all these Creatures forming orderly military battalions and attacking. They were in perfect synchrony as they attacked.
“I leave that to you…” (Roanan)
Ronan disappears while Sarazar leads the Anomalous Dragons to fight. Lolth exchanges a look with me, and we both advanced in the direction where Zenos had gone. That’s when everyone was startled by the energy creature bound by chains.
That thing exuded a sense of pure devastation and seemed to ignore everyone there as it flew as if fleeing from something. But just as easily, it vanished as its chains were violently pulled back before vanishing.
Even though I was still in shock from what had happened, I didn’t stop fighting, advancing until I reached Zenos. Without saying anything, I exchanged a look with Lolth, and we continued fighting, oblivious to anything.
Zenos, who was supposed to help us, disappeared somewhere unknown. Even so, I never stopped attacking the creatures I encountered. I knew I had to clear the path to the Universal Core.

Pov Zenos:
When that dark wretch arrived, summoning so many of those creatures filled with the power of Hatred, I was thinking about what to do—not how to fight, but how to get through this as quickly as possible.
“LAYLA! NIX!” (me)
“< Divine Magic of Penumbra: Threshold Restriction >” (Layla)
“< Divine Rune of Chaos: Stellar Rift >” (Nix)
“< Law of Eclipse: Reality Banishment >” (me)
I didn’t need to speak to my Familiars; I directly conveyed to Layla and Nix what to do. They acted perfectly at the same time, while I was already preparing myself.
Layla, using Divine power, separated the space around those creatures of Hatred, creating a Threshold between the space they were in and the rest of this universe. Since the Laws in this place were already collapsing, there was no resistance; it was like cutting a square out of gelatin.
Nix acted at the same time, yet waited for Layla to make her move before acting herself. She used a Chaos Rune to open a runic portal out of this universe. The portal that formed had two pillars filled with Runes on either side. Through the portals, what lay beyond was a tangle of energy flows and formless lights.
By the time Nix formed the portal, I was already acting. Using my power of Law, I gathered what I could of the power of reality around me and created a Rune as a decree of judgment. With this Rune, the entire space where those Creatures were was banished from this universe. The power of Reality pressed that loose space outward, and with such a tight portal, it was as if someone had flushed the toilet.
It was almost comical to see that space being crushed into the portal, quickly disappearing from view.
All of this happened so quickly that they couldn’t do anything. Even so, it wasn’t perfect. That dark wretch was still there and was already attacking. Hinata was the one exchanging blows with him, creating tentacles with teeth to strike the dark swords around him.
After disposing of that large group of Creatures, I pointed at the dark creature, and all the Familiars launched themselves at him.
Sakura launched billions of leaves so sharp they could shatter entire continents, but the creature dissolved its body into mist, thus avoiding being torn apart.
Orion launched entire packs of blood wolves against the dark creature, but from its body emerged Shadow Demons that fought the blood wolves.
Even avoiding the others’ attacks, her distraction allowed Hinata to land several blows that seriously injured him.
When Nix tried to finish him off, his body suddenly emanated the power of the True Concept of Hatred amidst the black light and disappeared.
“Keep going!” (me)
