Will of chaos

Chapter 2038 2038: Cap 2027 (Remade): Fighting for reality

Just as I had guessed, that bubble burst, but it was far worse than I expected. It wasn’t just a flood of enemies; it was a storm of reality power that swept everything around. The two powers of reality collided, forming a storm that distorted even nearby planets, as well as the very foundations of existence in the surrounding area. I’ve never seen anything so apocalyptic before.

Beyond the alien reality power, the enemies launched a full sweep against us as if separated by it, a murderous intention growing stronger each time.

Among those in leadership, one looked at me with his single eye as if I were the only one on the battlefield. It was the one we faced during the rescue of the Dream Avatars, the enemy with many arms.

He was tensing his muscles as if to advance on me immediately, but before he could, another made a move first.

“No! You won’t take the initiative from me!!!!” (Ohara)

Ohara advances almost simultaneously, but she attacks first; in fact, she moved mid-attack, thus hitting her opponent first.

Being too proud in the middle of a battle of this magnitude is irrational to the point of stupidity, at least that’s what I think.

I look again at the multi-armed idiot; I can see five of his hands bleeding as he stares at me, but suddenly he disappears and a strong impact strikes beside my head as my wing instinctively emerges to defend.

“You ruined everything!” (Inolakai)

“Bastard!” (me)

“(How did he move so fast!?)” (me)

I thought they didn’t have physical bodies, but his blow was quite physical for me. I don’t understand what’s happening or how he was so fast, but I need to find a solution for this soon.

I don’t stand still thinking, I advance against them, the space folds between us allowing my blow to reach him immediately, but the moment my blow would hit him, I feel something and propel myself downwards with my wings, dodging three of his fists.

“(How did he move like that!!???)” (me)

I extend my hands, the dagger and the sword form, transforming the very reality around me into my weapon, my Aura explodes in the surroundings and I face him without making any movement, this time I wanted to be prepared.

As soon as he advanced towards me, I focused all my attention on him, every movement of his arms, every flow of his Aura, and I became ready not to miss the moment of change.

I move to meet him mid-air, dozens of arms trying to punch me mercilessly, but I throw the dagger between my arms, aiming for his eye, I waited until the last moment to truly execute this movement.

Just as I expected, it happened again. He disappeared from my sight, dodging the dagger, and reappeared below me.

This time I couldn’t dodge; he was too close and already in the middle of the attack. Several of his punches hit me, sending my body flying backward, where I was grabbed by Hades, who was looking at the enemy who advanced to continue the attack.

“Get out of here!” (me)

“< Breath of Chaos >” (me)

“< Order of Annihilation: 17th Form >” (Inolakai)

I open my jaws, from which a torrent of distortion emerges.

Beyond all speed, it cuts through reality itself, which distorts. My Concept of Chaos has perfected this attack more than any other.

Against my attack, he doesn’t try to move as before.

He concentrates his power in his fists, especially the four physical fists that gain symbols on the backs of his hands. The very power of reality seems to shatter as it gets close to his hands.

As his fists struck my Chaos Breathing attack, shattering it like glass, my mind drifted back to moments before. This time I was focused enough to perceive it.

Before he could move, a surge of energy surged from within him, causing the power of reality around him to vibrate. He was using the power of his reality to transform his body into a stream of energy, propelled by the power of the reality of creation.

It was clear now how he did it, and thankfully there were some patterns that would help me predict what he would do to some extent.

I see him approaching me. I expected him to use that technique again; this time I would be ready. But before I knew it, he had disappeared again and reappeared right before my eyes. The blade of his six-fingered hand surged forth in a resounding slap that slammed me against a moon, shattering more than a third of its size from the collision.

“Bastard…!” (Me)

Before I could understand what was happening, he appeared in front of me once again, but now I wasn’t so defenseless anymore. I tried to look for the patterns I’d seen before and found nothing.

I corrected as quickly as I could, only to be hit by more of his punches. My internal energy cycle trembled with each blow; it was like being run over by several trucks with each punch.

He was strong, very strong. Each of his punches wasn’t hitting my body as the primary target; that was just collateral damage. They were trying to damage my very existence.

What suddenly became inconceivable was realizing that in the last two blows he didn’t perform the pattern I had seen, and a possibility came to mind: the possibility of having been tricked with a false pattern.

“< 4th Art of the Blade of Chaos: Universal Lineage >” (me)

“< Order of Annihilation: 21st Form >” (Inolakai)

With dagger and sword in hand, this time I advanced against him. I didn’t want to waste any more time predicting him or anything like that; I left everything to my instincts. Thinking wasn’t helping; he fights and possesses powers in a paradigm different from mine.

Since I couldn’t face him by thinking, then I will crush him with a power that surpasses everything, a power that evolved thanks to the power of Concept.

A blade that can make everything bleed, a blade that carries the transformations of Life and Death, a blade that cuts through reality itself, transforming all of creation and dragging with it the blood of all creatures.

This was my blade; the sword in my hands slashed forward, separating the universe as well as the power of reality. From within this cut emerged a drop of blood, which soon gave way to a waterfall of blood that seemed to possess the weight of billions of bloodlines.

Advancing against him once more, my sword descended upon him as several of his ethereal fists behind his back overlapped into fists that seemed to shine brighter than the sun.

When I thought my blade and his fist were about to collide, suddenly he disappeared once more, but this time I didn’t think, I didn’t even try to think; what I did was act.

My wing folded at the same time as my tail pushed his wrist. I automatically moved out of the way of his blows, and with the swing of my blades, I severed several of his arms.

I might not have been able to follow him with my eyes, but the moment he was attacking, I couldn’t hide the murderous intent from him.

Our fight had only just begun, my power increasing ever stronger, as did the violence of his blows, fury dripping from his single eye.

My sword struck him; his Reality power stood in the way like a natural shield, but it did nothing against my blades, and thanks to that, I used the sword to cut through his defenses before once again hurling the dagger, burning with starlight flames, directly at him.

He tries to use several punches to hit the dagger, but its trajectory changes constantly like a Serpent lurking around every corner it finds.

“< Breath of Chaos >” (me)

While he was distracted by my dagger finally penetrating his shoulder, I use my Breath of Chaos point-blank against him. Several of his arms are engulfed by the stellar flames of Chaos; intelligently, his arms were protected by the power of reality that burned in place of his body.

“(Xerxes! How do I face this wretch!?)” (me)

“(Don’t be fooled by what you see, they have no soul, body, or energy cycle; they are entirely energy from the beginning. Somewhere in their bodies, there will be a core of order that generates the energy they use to materialize their bodies.)” (Xerxes)

“(Remember those crystal cores and crystal hearts we collected during the crystal ritual; they are of the same type.)” (Xerxes)

While facing the enemy, I realized he hadn’t sustained any serious damage; not even the blow my dagger landed on his shoulder seemed to have any effect, so I had to turn to Xerxes for guidance on how to face this wretch.

“We had everything prepared; we planned this for countless ages!” (Inolakai)

“You took away the only home we had left!!” (Inolakai)
