Chapter 1964: Fighting the Unforgiven Ones (Part 2)
Chapter 1964: Fighting the Unforgiven Ones (Part 2)
……
Swoosh!
Right after the cold fog was swept away, the two Void Manifestation Stage Unforgiven Ones saw that the trio were currently standing in the middle of an array.
The array was not that huge, but not that small either. This circular array was covering a diameter of at least ten meters, which was covered by the fog earlier.
It was also filled complicated runes that were forming a quite complex diagram. There were points on this array, where the three were currently standing.
These three points were connected, which were also making the auras of the three to link with one another. It was as if they were sharing the strength of each other and connecting their respective auras.
“A Link Strengthening Array!” said by one of the leading Unforgiven One with a somewhat solemn tone.
He might not be a Mentalist, but he was quite knowledgeable about their special methods.
A Link Strengthening Array was just like it name suggested. It was a special type of array that would link the strength of all the people linked within it. They would share the strengths of each other but would also have to share the burden that each of them would suffer.
If was quite a famous method that the ancient cultivators used during their era, especially for those who came from the same sect.
This method was then rearranged and adjusted to the current era, which were commonly used by Mentalists now.
Given that the trio before them did not share the same type of discipline or similar martial arts, it was clear that this Link Strengthening Array was quite a special one.
It was clear that the three possessed special physiques, which were most likely been forged though their special methods to fit their respective methods. Adding this together, the physical strength and defense of the three combined should be extremely tough.
The two leading Unforgiven Ones could even sense that the physique that Arthur and Leonard were not ordinary combat body or natural physique as well.
“What are you standing there for? Attack!” shouted by the one with the most authority among the group, waking up the rest of the team.
The Unforgiven Ones, who were at the Ethereal Opening Stage, were awakened by his words and quickly recovered themselves.
They then immediately started charging at the trio. Now that the fog was cleared, it was the time to counterattack.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
In the meantime, Shin, who was standing at the rearmost part of the array, finally finished the seal with his hands and swiftly waved them outwards.
Whoosh!
In response, the array underneath their feet suddenly expanded and grew larger, covering almost dozens of meters in radius.
“Go!” Shin then signaled the two to start moving as well.
Bang!
Leonard was the first to move this time. He kicked the ground and charged forward with his unstoppable force and insane burst of speed.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
His body seemed to have disappeared while a series of deep footprints appeared on the ground as he repeatedly kicked the ground to further propel forward and changed his direction from time to time.
He was no longer using his fist this time as well. Over his shoulders, he was carrying a three-meter long metallic rod that seemed to be made of special materials.
This rod did not have any complex design side from its two ends, which had a cone-like cap cover on them. The lower portion did not have anything else aside from it while the upper part had a pair of backets extending on both sides.
This metallic rod was some sort of conductor that could hold the especial energy that the warrior tribes controlled, the Blood Power.
Leonard was constantly channeling his Blood Power into this metallic rod, which it used to further enhanced its overall features while also forming a pair of huge axe heads solely made of this energy.
Bang!
With a powerful stomp, Leonard forcefully halted his advance and stopped right before the first batch of Unforgiven Ones.
He did not need any greeting and just swung his massive battleaxe forward.
Roar!
There seemed to have a deafening roar of a primordial beast accompanying his actions, reverberating throughout the entire area.
This roar was not that simple either since it somewhat affected the minds of those before him, slightly distracting them while he took advantage of this opportunity to attacking them.
Boom!
However, the other Unforgiven Ones from the opposing side were able to quickly respond and saved their companions from such a deadly and destructive attack.
Unfortunately, they were still sent flying in the air due to the powerful force accompanying that swing from Leonard.
Swoosh!
This time, while they were still trying to regain their balance in the air, a golden flash suddenly rushed at them before revealing Arthur’s figure.
The golden aura that was covering his body raged with a strong intensity. The Imperial Flame also fused with his Draconic Qi and formed his Natural Force.
’Natural Force (Imperial Dragon Flame): Divine Dragon Force’
Making these flames danced around him and converged toward his spear, Arthur suddenly released a very strong and fearsome deterrent aura that made him looked like a dragon in humanoid form.
Roar!
This aura made the Unforgiven Ones before him to freeze in the air while he twirled his spear and gathering momentum.
A moment later, the wisp of flame that was creating a blazing trail behind his spear suddenly transformed into a dragon, which suddenly charged forward as he thrust his spear.
’True Nine Dragon Arts: Dragon Nest’
Roar!
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
A swarm of golden dragons swiftly started raining down at the group of Unforgiven Ones in the air and started assaulting them.
“Argh!”
“Urgh!”
Painful groans started reverberating in the air as the group were bitten by the swarm of golden dragons.
However, these Unforgiven Ones still possessed a durable body on top of having a strong regenerative abilities, so taking them down would not be quite tough as well.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
After Arthur sent those Unforgiven Ones back of the ground, Leonard quickly took over and started swinging his battleaxe with all his might, leaving a series of flashes in the air.
’Thousand Beast Method: Beast Tide – Massacre’
Roar! Roar! Roar!
There seemed to a series of bestial roars dominating the entire place when swung his battleaxe. An apparition of multiple beasts also appeared for a very brief moment with each swing, which started biting on the Unforgiven Ones, who were yet to recover from Arthur’s attack earlier.
While the two were busy dealing with the opponents in front, Shin was dealing with the ones who were attacking before behind.
Shin held them back by himself, utilizing his unique Mentalism Swordsmanship.
He kept on using Mentalism Spells with a variety of elements while also changing the ’forms’ of his swords through Mentalism Aura Manipulation, which had a similar principle of Void Manifestation Skills and Mentalism Armament Techniques.
However, this method required a medium in compared to those techniques instead of materializing such tools in the air with just their Qi or Mental Energy.
After repelling them, Shin then quickly went to where Arthur and Leonard were fighting, assisting them with his special methods.
The three worked together seamlessly, launching a series of coordinated attacks without a pause, pushing their opponents back despite being outnumbered.
Aside from their teamwork, the array that Shin had sent up had created enhanced their overall combat abilities, particularly when it came to their physical strength. The combination of Arthur’s Divine Dragon Physique and Leonard’s Asura War Body was beyond what they had expected.
The attacks of their opponents were almost ineffective against despite facing them head-on.
This made Leonard and Arthur become more confident with their attacks and started increasing the pace, making it much harder for the opposing side to respond.
Shin was even complementing their attacks with his variety of tricks, further highlighting the strengths of the two.
He was not the main actor in this battle, letting the two frontliners to handle the everything while he gave them his assistance.
They started overwhelming these Unforgiven Ones with their relentless attacks and perfect coordination.
The three worked perfectly well, shifting between different fronts when attacking.
Unfortunately, despite having all the upper hand in this battle, the three were still unable to finish these guys.
The evil powers that they possessed, which were also further augmented by the artificial talents that the Hextech Laboratory had given them, made them a very tough opponent.
Shin could not even lock on their respective cores, which could rob them from their insane regeneration abilities.
However, he did find a different way to approach the problem.
Since he could not directly destroy those cores, then why not used another way to prevent them from using those abilities?
Why not used some sort of poison to achieve such a result?
“Huh? What is happening?”
When the opposing side noticed the problem, it was already too late to reverse the situation since Shin had already filled the entire place with this poison.
Moreover, this odorless and invisible poison had already invaded them system without their notice, making the situation much worse for them.
I was only at this moment that the two leading Void Manifestation Stage Unforgiven Ones realized the gravity of the situation.
