Seeing that the others were starting to get seriously affected by the poison, the leading Unforgiven One could not help but think about how such a thing had happened.

“Wait!? The fog!?” the leading Unforgiven One then suddenly thought of something when he thought about the fog earlier.

“It is the fog! A poison was mixed in it!” he then realized where the problem lay, especially after recalling how they had dispersed it earlier.

While he was thinking about this, the situation in the battle started to tilt against their favor.

Shin and the other two might not have the ability to instant finish off these Unforgiven Ones, especially with their powerful regenerative abilities and strong tenacity. But seriously injuring them should not be a problem when they put their minds to it.

Adding that the opposing group was currently under the intense effects of the poison that Shin had spread earlier, regenerating from those injuries would at least take quite some time.

With their abilities, incapacitating this group should not be as challenging as killing them off.

“Retreat!” ordered the leading Unforgiven One while charging forward.

With a powerful stomp into the ground, he propelled himself forward and flew straight to Leonard, who was in the middle of swinging his huge battleaxe.

Sensing the incoming threat, Leonard swiftly turned his body around while also changing the trajectory of his swing, directing it toward the incoming ambush.

The leader of the opposing group could not help but frown deeply after seeing the result of the collision. He might still have overpowered Leonard, but the difference in their strength seemed to be far from what it was supposed to be.

Arthur was strongly pushed back upon the collision, signifying the difference in their strength. But he was not discouraged since he could feel that the gap was not that huge, given that he was not sent flying.

“Voss!” shouted this leading Unforgiven One, calling out for the other Void Manifestation Stage Unforgiven One.

“On it, Captain!” responded that Unforgiven One, suddenly appearing behind Arthur and swiftly attacking the latter with his pair of daggers.

This ambush was perfectly timed, not giving Arthur any time to respond. His daggers were already cutting through the air and heading straight to Arthur’s arms before the latter could even sense his presence.

Bang!

Unfortunately, the ground between the two suddenly flew upwards, erecting a thick wall of earth that blocked the incoming strike.

Shin had also made his move, seeing the situation.

Bang!

Earth wall was instantly destroyed by that powerful attack coming from Voss, but the expression on his face was quite solemn, especially after seeing that his target was already turning toward him and skillfully using the spinning momentum to throw a powerful thrust at him.

The Unforgiven One Captain could not help but feel a bit surprised after blocking the attack. He was forced to take a couple of steps back, trying to relieve the strain that he had gotten from the impact, which signified that the power behind Leonard’s attack was not something he could scoff off.

This power was way different from what Leonard had shown earlier when fighting the other Unforgiven Ones.

“These brats dare to play a trick on us?” The Captain immediately realized what was happening. The three were most likely trying to hide their real strength, planning to catch them off guard.

Enraged, he suddenly summoned a much stronger flow of Evil Powers from his body, channeling them toward his arms before throwing a series of punches.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Each punch carried a very powerful force, seemingly capable of annihilating everything on its path.

It was clear that he no longer cared whether to catch these kids alive, planning to teach them a lesson that they would never forget.

If Leonard tried to face this attack head-on, then he would most likely get overwhelmed by them and be buried by their might.

Fortunately, he was not alone.

The ground between the two suddenly flew up and summoned a series of earth ramparts alongside an array of ice walls that blocked most of the punches.

This gave Leonard enough time to respond and more leeway to confront the incoming barrage of punches by swinging his battleaxe multiple times.

His swings left a series of crimson flashes in the air, along with eerie cries of a devil and deafening roars of a beast reverberating in the air.

Wail!

Roar!

Each swing carried a powerful force, which also gathered more momentum for every swing he did. The swings were getting stronger in every collision he made against the barrage of attacks from his opponent.

While Leonard was too focused on the exchanges, Voss’ figure suddenly materialized behind him, taking advantage of the situation to launch a deadly ambush.

They did not hold anything back, using their strongest move in each attack they threw at their opponents, not caring about their stamina or anything else.

This batch of talismans that he had thrown at Voss was among the stack that his mother had given him before he headed out for this mission.

His mother told him that they should be effective, but he was not sure how powerful they were.

Aside from the few that she said could be used even against those who were at the Domain Realm and equivalent stage, he was planning to use everything he had for this fight.

He wanted to save the most powerful ones later. After all, they still did not know when that powerful expert, who had brought them here, would come back.
