Dark Magus Returns

Chapter 1219 - 1219: Save The Dark Magus (Part 2)

The bloody woman had only interfered once in Raze’s fights, and that was when he was going up against Murkel. He had used so much of his power, used everything he had, that his life was on the line.

Her power was unmatched going against Murkel, and it was what had pretty much saved his life. He wasn’t so sure if she would be strong enough to go against Enaxx, but maybe it would help them out in the situation they were in.

“No.” The bloody woman’s voice resounded in Raze’s head.

Unlike before, it was no longer like fog, covered in a thick voice. Raze could hear it clearly for once, and he didn’t like the answer it had given him.

“Why are you saying no?” Raze asked. “At a time like this right now, it’s a serious situation. I’ve said this before—if I die, then you die as well, right?”

“Right.” The woman replied back. “But do you really think that you’re in a situation where you are close to death? Your body is in this situation because you placed it in it. You are not on your last legs yet, nowhere near, and until you are, I won’t do a thing to step in.

“Besides, the weaker you are, the better chance I have of taking over your body completely.”

Raze didn’t even know why he had asked the bloody woman—it was her expected response. Asking was a sign of weakness, but that was what it truly was at a time like this.

“We do the only thing we can do!” Lince shouted, as he had his weapons wrapped up around the wrapping on his body. He started to fling them about, shooting powerful strikes of Qi across the field.

It was disrupting in multiple ways. For one, Enaxx had to move out of the way of the attacks, and it was slicing through the magical attacks as well.

“We will just have to move you back, and keep on protecting you!” Lince claimed.

As those words were spoken though, the footing underneath from Lince was shaky. He quickly jumped up, flipping in the air, and saw a large earth-like pillar.

In the middle of him falling, the pillar swung down and crashed onto his body. The pillar had broken and Lince appeared just fine, but the attack had hit him relatively clean.

“Earth magic… that means…” Raze turned around to have a look, and it was as he expected.

Now walking toward all of them, they could see there was a fifth Enaxx, and based on what he had just done, he was using Earth-type magic.

“I’ve recovered somewhat. Get behind me, and let’s go back to back!” Raze ordered.

The other two were quick to move, and now with their backs against each other, they were looking at the Enaxxes in all different directions.

“Haha, look at this, look at this!” Enaxx laughed. “Is this really the Dark Magus that struck fear into people’s hearts? I know you now look like a child, but I didn’t expect you to become weak like one as well.

“Your time here—did you lose all of your powers? You have nothing to show what you are right now?” Enaxx said with laughter.

“It seems that there is still something that you can do, correct?” Lince asked.

“If you can, I think it might be the best time for you to use it.”

Raze thought about it. Even though he said he had recovered, the truth was he had far from recovered. He would struggle to defeat any of the tough opponents he had before, and this was the toughest—but there was a good chance that Enaxx could split himself for the fifth time.

“Just protect yourself, use whatever Qi you can!”

All of the Enaxxes were preparing. They were ready with the biggest spells in their arsenal. A lightning bolt was growing bigger and bigger in Enaxx’s hands, with strands floating all over the air.

A large tornado of condensed wind strikes that were incredibly sharp were building up in both of Enaxx’s hands.

Flames were twirling and gathering, as they wreathed up and down Enaxx’s arms.

And then the earth being used—the ground was shaking. At the same time, all four of the Enaxxes threw their hands together and the attacks went toward the center.

Everyone else was ready to defend from the attacks, using all of their Qi in their body. They waited till the right time to just strike the magic that was in front of them, hoping to disrupt as much of the magic as possible.

The magic was breaking and breaking, but it was too much, as it made a massive implosion out on the field. There was next to nothing that could be seen, until the area had cleared up.

Raze, Lince, and Amir—they were all standing, but their bodies filled with cuts, deep bruises, blood dripping out of their mouths, and more. They had been heavily hurt from the attack and appeared incredibly weak.

“I’m not sure… I don’t think I can go on anymore. I guess this might be the end of the leader of the Lost Clan… I did a lot… I just wish I could have seen the outcome of this fight.”

“The Bonum Society are proud that we got close to getting our grand treasure back. Just because we will perish does not mean that the others won’t be able to complete the task, and in the future, that the task will be completed.”

Raze didn’t say anything. He wasn’t done yet. He couldn’t be done. This wouldn’t be the end of the fight. He had a lot more to show, a lot more to do. There was so much in for his plans.

As he looked up at the sky, Raze started to see several sparks connecting, until eventually the sparks stayed consistent and started to form a ring in the sky, and an array of colors had joined the center.

“A portal….”
