Death... and me

Chapter 3282: Let's Hope

Chapter 3282: Let's Hope

"I guess that's true..." Waritala had to agree with Roan's words. But then again, she couldn't see any other reason for them to have been brought here. Although Roan said he had nothing to do with it, she still believed he was responsible for it somehow.

*Zush, zush...*

Rean came out of the Dimensional Realm, bringing out Ruivo as well. "So much snow... It had been a while since I had seen it."

"Mother!" Ruivo quickly approached Waritala, who was also happy to see him.

"Do you know where we are?" Roan ignored those two, asking Rean instead.

However, Rean shook his head, warning everyone. "I don't know. In any case, do not use your CDs. That would be the same as saying where we are at the moment. In fact, don't use any CD acquired in the Mortal World, including the ones without an owner."

Waritala agreed with Rean. "He is right. It is possible to track others through such a method. However, I have an idea of where we are at the moment."

"Is the Divine Realm that small?" Rean found it hard to believe. Just how could she know where they are just by looking at the snow. As far as he could see, there were no meaningful landmarks around, including the skies.

"Hmph! As if!" Waritala quickly corrected him. "The Divine Realm is absolutely enormous. We could fly at our top speed for a billion years, and we wouldn't cover even a single percent of it."

'Pretty much like the underworld and heaven back in Lisan,' Rean and Roan thought at the same time.

She then took a deep breath, taking another look around. "However, there is something here that tells me our general location. It's just that I can only tell on which side of the Divine Realm we are. At the moment, we are in the South."

"The snow?" Roan inquired.

"Yes," and Waritala confirmed. "In the entirety of the Divine Realm, Snow only exists in the extreme south side. If you want to find snow anywhere else in the Divine Realm, you will need to use artificial methods, formations, and things like that."

Rean pondered a bit. "Then there is a possibility that this place is not in the south. Who can guarantee we aren't inside a place where snow is being generated artificially?"

[Well, me,] Sister Orb spoke. [If there was really a formation responsible for that, I would have noticed. It is not something that you could use those Divine Sense Runes alone. Something of this scale definitely has to have normal runes.]

Of course, Waritala didn't hear Sister Orb. "You might be right, but that would be too much of a coincidence," she explained. "Places in the Divine Realm where snow is generated artificially are obviously few and far between. After all, unless you have a very good reason, why would you spend so many resources to keep an environment like this? And then, we just so happen to be teleported to such a place? I refuse to believe we were that lucky."

Roan agreed with Waritala, and Sister Orb's words just confirmed the obvious. They must be on the south side. "In any case, Divine Energy here is plenty, so we are definitely in the Divine Realm. That also means we are nearing the end of our deal. Waritala, go with Rean and have your Divine Stone swapped. I believe you prepared one for yourself, didn't you?"

Waritala nodded. That wasn't a bad situation. If they had appeared at the Teleportation Base in the Divine Realm, they would first need to sneak out before anything else. Now, they were already far from there.

"By the way," Rean turned to Waritala. "Where were we supposed to have appeared?" "At the Mortal World Teleportation Base of the Inquisition Hall in Youges Continent. It is a continent on the east side of the Divine Realm, somewhere between the center and the outskirts of the Divine Realm." That wasn't a secret, so Waritala spoke without concern. Understanding their situation, Rean nodded. "That's good enough for starters. Roan, I'm going inside to swap Waritala's Divine Werdlem Stone. What about you?"

*Zush!*

In the next moment, Kentucky appeared on the outside. "Bruuuu... so cold in here." "I'm going to fly with the idiot for a while to see if we can find some city, settlement, or whatever. Anything that could help us understand our situation is fine," Roan explained, jumping on Kentucky's back. He then waved his hand, and his Spiritual Energy brought Ruivo to Kentucky's back as well. "The kid will stay with me too."

Rean didn't mind. "Well then, shall we, Lady Waritala?"

Waritala narrowed her eyes, but she knew there was no other choice. If she didn't swap Divine Werdlem Stones, she would be soon blocked in the system. That would spell her end. "Let's get over with it." She could only trust the twins would keep their word.

Rean and Waritala disappeared, and after putting her to sleep, Rean started the operation. Meanwhile, Kentucky took flight, arriving at high altitudes in a few seconds. Roan also covered them with Rean's Light and Divine Sense Bending Skill, just in case.

"Divine Energy..." Roan murmured, feeling much better to have access to that higher level of energy again. He didn't waste time and started to swap the Spiritual Energy in his dantian for Divine Energy instead.

Kentucky did the same as he flapped his wings, watching the field of snow below. "Do I fly in some specific direction?"

Roan glanced at Ruivo, who was the real Divine Realm resident. "Any ideas?"

Ruivo bitterly smiled. "I only lived on the east side before. Other than knowing that snow means south, I truly know nothing about this place."

"You heard that guy," Roan spoke. "Select some direction you feel comfortable with and fly there."

"Since you say so..." Kentucky then changed direction, using the wind to help with his flight. "Let's hope this is a good direction."
