Chapter 3283: No Real Forms
Chapter 3283: No Real Forms
Having acquired the experience of the last change, Rean was able to work much faster on Waritala, who was unconscious. Less than ten hours later, Rean had already closed the opening, connecting everything with his Light Element. "This should do the trick."
*Zush, zush!*
Rean then came outside on Roan's side, joining Roan and Ruivo on Kentucky's back. Waritala appeared a second later, also lying there in the open. "I'm done with her."
Roan nodded. "Wake her up then."
Sending his Light Element inside, Rean made Waritala wake up like Roan asked.
Waritala slowly opened her eyes, just to see herself in the middle of the skies. Soon, the memories of what happened surfaced, and she quickly sat up again. "Ruivo!"
"Here!" Ruivo was right be Waritala's side. "Mother, how do you feel?"
Waritala sighed in relief, seeing her son doing fine there. "Let me check it."
Waritala quickly circulated her Divine Energy, and also tried to absorb the Divine Energy from the outside. Everything worked as expected, but it felt so normal that she wondered if her Divine Werdlem Stone had truly been swapped. "Seems to be fine..."
"This is yours," Rean then threw something to Waritala, which she caught in a hurry, almost letting it fall from Kentucky's back.
"So this is my Divine Werdlem Stone... or it was, at least." Even though all the stones looked similar, she still could recognize them. Just the feeling alone was enough for her to be certain of what she was holding. "To think you could truly swap the stones and leave no side-effects behind. You better not speak of it to outsiders, or it will bring you many problems. There is no lack of bad characters who wish to disappear."
"I am aware," Rean agreed with her. "Had we not been without a choice, I wouldn't have shown it to you either. Remember, you are not Waritala anymore. When you register in the Werdlem Network, make a new name, new origin, new everything. The best would be for you to never go back to where you lived in the Divine Realm before."
"That goes without saying," Waritala already thought about that. "The Arch Corporation isn't to be trifled with. Still, even they would not come this far in the Divine Realm just for my sake. Naturally, I will not leave any traces that 'Waritala' has ever been here. We will start a new life here in the south."
"That's good and all," Roan spoke from there, "but that is also your problem." Then, he pointed forward.
Far in the distance, something that looked like the walls of a city began to appear. Kentucky had already warned him through Divine Sense since he was the first one to notice. "Waritala, this is where we will part ways. We upheld the end of our deal, and so did you. If you let yourself get exposed again, you only ave yourself to blame. We won't see each other ever again."
That was nothing but music to Waritala's ears. Even though they were in the same boat for a while, she felt that she shouldn't get involved with the twins too much. "I understand." Following that, she got up on Kentucky's back, and so did her son. The two bowed to the twins, bidding their farewell. From here onwards, it was all up to them. "Thank you for the cooperation, and I hope you can achieve your objectives. For the sake of concealment, I also don't intend to leave you with my CD number. Well, I don't even have a CD at the moment, but you understand."
"That's fine," Rean didn't mind at all. "We are also grateful for the help you gave us. Good bye."
Waritala was about to leave, but she remembered something. "Right, one last piece of information for you. There has always been very little information about the south side of the Divine Realm. Even coming to this place requires a very special permission. Why that is the case, I don't really know. I've never been interested in the south to start with. In any case, just keep that in mind out there."
The twins nodded, taking the information in. And so, Waritala took flight, carrying her son with her. Her son definitely could fly on his own, but since her cultivation was much higher, she found it better to bring him with her until both sides were out of each other's sight. Seeing Waritala disappearing in the distance, Rean couldn't help but comment. "In the end, we didn't even know what she and her son did to that Arch Corporation she mentioned."
"As if I care," Roan snorted. "Now, Kentucky, go to the city. As for the idiot here, he has to replace his Spiritual Energy with Divine Energy."
Rean shrugged and disappeared again. It was better to do it inside the Dimensional Realm since it always had a higher concentration of cultivation energies. He also had to talk to Foliana and the others.
As Rean disappeared, Kentucky rushed to the city. Soon, several other cultivators, demon beasts, and spirits began to appear, all heading to or coming from the city in the distance. There were a few ships as well, reminding Roan of the ship they have in the Dimensional Realm. Rifindio commented they could use it in the Divine Realm as well.
Roan noticed that as they got closer to the city, several eyes began to look at them. At first, he was confused about the reason, but soon understood. "Kentucky, they seem to be interested in you."
Kentucky also perceived the same thing. "Right? What can I say? I'm that handsome."
"Not that, idiot," Roan already felt like beating the bird. "Look around. There are quite a few Demon Beasts, but they are all in their humanoid forms. Just change already."
"Oh..." Kentucky quickly followed Roan's words, changing back to his youth appearance. Sure enough, after a while, the few who looked in their direction lost interest. It was as if they were waiting for a good show that was suddenly canceled.
At the city's gate, Roan and Kentucky were made aware of the reason. The city didn't accept any Demon Beast in their real form, regardless of race. Not only that, there was a formation there that would automatically punish any Demon Beast that broke that rule. That's what the others were waiting to see, but it ended up not happening.
"Just why are Demon Beasts' real forms prohibited?" Kentucky couldn't help but wonder.
