Chapter 4545: Thunder Resounds

Davis remembered that the World Master was struck by divine lightning. However, he didn’t know if it was called divine lightning or divine punishment lightning. A single word could change the meaning, or divine lightning might even be its own category since it carried the word ‘Divine’, which is filled with karmic burden.

“Hehe, I have no idea.” Isabella giggled, “If you want to know, ask her yourself.”

Davis’s brows raised before he nodded.

It seemed like Isabella may have come to an agreement with Zenova Artoria so that the latter’s secrets wouldn’t be leaked. The question was- what did Isabella get in return?

He couldn’t tell, but he wasn’t going to ask either, since it seemed fun.

“If the opportunity presents itself, then I will be sure to ask.”

He nodded, appearing to move on to the next topic at hand.

However, Isabella waved her hands, “Wait, you haven’t guessed what she’s going to extract…!”

Davis pursed his lips. Since Isabella was back, she had so many things to say, and she looked excited about this matter, so he wanted to entertain her. He looked at the skies and simply said.

“What else is it going to be other than something that connects to herself? I suppose it’s Thunder Laws… the fusion of Lightning Laws and Sound Laws.”

Isabella nearly gawked, “Who told you!?”

Davis’s heart nearly leapt.

He was correct? He maintained an all-seeing facade as his lips curled, “It’s obvious since it’s in her title, Lightning Demoness Thunderblaze, or even her previous aspiration, Fairy Thunderblaze. She wouldn’t have named herself that if she didn’t aim for thunder. Moreover, if people are going to publicly acknowledge her as Thunderblaze, then it means that she has paved a path to comprehend this Law.”

“You’re correct! But still wrong…”

“…?”

Isabella looked shocked but abruptly giggled, causing Davis to blink, thinking he was exposed.

“Accurately, you’re not far off. She has comprehended Thunderfire Laws, the fusion of Fire, Lightning, Thunder, and Sound Laws, and is trying to increase its intent through gathering the Thunderfire Quintessence Seed we found in the center of the Wrathful Aeons Shard Region.”

“…!?”

Davis and the others were dumbfounded.

Thunderfire Laws? Even Myria blinked as it was her first time hearing of it.

They wondered what this Law entailed. However, judging by the fact it contained the fusion of four or five Laws, they guessed it would be a terrifying Supreme Law.

“Wait, why is the same Law being used again?” Eterna blinked.

“Yes, why is Sound Laws being used again when Sound Laws is already a part of Thunder Laws because of the fusion between Lightning Laws and Sound Laws?” Lucian also looked curious.

Isabella immediately turned to answer him with a smile of a teacher, “That’s because some Laws don’t necessarily need to be only used once in order to form something. This is called superimposition of Laws, and the same Laws can be stacked multiple times as long as the fusion doesn’t disrupt the base. For example, Yin Fusion and Yang Fusion are just- in general, the usage of Yin or Yang into certain Laws in order to pull them towards either extreme nature.”

“Fire can become ice, and ice can become fire. That could be Yin Fusion of Fire and Yang Fusion of Ice. But one can still use Yang Laws on top of the Yang Fusion of Ice to create ice again. Even though the same Yang Law is being used twice, it doesn’t disrupt the nature of the Laws, allowing it to blossom into a powerful version of its base.”

“Eeck…”

Eterna made a sound of incomprehension, and Lucian and the others looked as clueless as ever.

Isabella blinked. She found that the realm of fusion to create new Supreme Laws was still far from the children. She giggled, “No need to worry. You will all understand in the future since none of you are ordinary, even little Arc. I hope he will also grow into a fine man, one befitting the son of our Emperor.”

Isabella smiled sweetly before she panned her gaze at Davis and the others.

“In any case, I suggest we grab the Thunderfire Quintessence Seed before Zenova can take it and then have her on our table to leak the secrets of divine lightning. What do you say?”

Isabella’s expression turned shady. Her eyes darted, appearing to be embarrassed.

Davis was shocked.

His righteous and majestic Isabella had been thoroughly corrupted by him. It seemed like she had learned the taste of banditry in the past decade quite well. He almost burst into a fit of laughter.

He chuckled in a heartened manner, “I am interested. It would be fun playing with her and watching her cry, but that’s not as important as trying to find Shirley and the others. I can’t be distracted by other stuff until we all reunite. Fortunately, the True Peak Emporium’s Map of the Shard Continent has details of the three entrances from the High-Level Shard Regions.”

“All we need to do is connect the dots of the environment, weather, and direction, or rely on Tia’s divination, in order to reach the space connecting to the High-Level Shard Regions. Nadia, Myria, and I could traverse using our concealment abilities and could have one of us conceal Tia and Isabella each, while at least one of us remains free to act as a scout or react to dangers, which will be me.”

*Rumble!~*

“How heartless. You’re entering the ever-dangerous Shard Continent, but won’t consider inviting me?”

Abruptly, a frightening thunder resounded through the heaven and earth after an arc of lightning flashed the skies into stormy mayhem. When the flash appeared, one could see the silhouette of a woman, and her voice resounded across the region.

When the flash disappeared, plunging the world into the night, they could finally see a purple-crimson-robed woman in the skies.

Her floating posture was majestic, and her black hair swayed flawlessly. Behind her were a few women and an army of spirits.

“Stop!”

“Evil human woman! Give back our treasure!”

“How dare you take what belongs to us!?”

The army of spirits furiously yelled at Fairy Thunderblaze and the women behind her. However, she was thoroughly unperturbed, still looking at them. It was unknown if her question was directed to Isabella or Davis. However, what they were sure of was that she pretty much invited tribes of furious spirits to their location.

NOTE:

My mom is in critical condition in the hospital. It is quite serious enough to end badly, so I won’t be able to write for the next day and after properly.

I’m not even in the mood to focus.

Don’t buy privilege this month since I can’t assure you that the novel will have a stable release of chapters. I will be busy for the next week taking care of mom, so chap counter will be paused.
