Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4817 Hours Before The Tribulation

Chapter 4817  Hours Before The Tribulation

Davis couldn't help but chuckle as he held the black-white stone in his palm.

He had shattered it way before entering the secret realm for the first time, knowing neither he nor Myria would be able to use it since it had no connection to the Elemental Dimension and wouldn't be allowed to use it.

His plan was to reform it once he was in the Upper Realms, and he was able to successfully do so as he thought he could.

The black-white stone had indeed partially fused with him on a strange level. Even if it breaks in a battle, he could repair it like he was repairing a life, using life and death energy to bring it back.

"I now have one Exalt Grade replica and another one that will become an Exalt Grade replica after my tribulation…" Davis uttered with a pleased yet exhausted look, his soul force bordering on ten percent.

Moreover, even with this kind of energy level for the soul, he was still able to retain clarity. Davis knew it was undoubtedly because of his overpowered Will. He was still confident in undergoing tribulation right now, even without his Soul Forging Cultivation, since his Body Tempering Cultivation was also overpowering, but he had no need to, since he still had twelve hours left.

To prepare for the encounter after his tribulation, he needed to make the most of his time, so he continued refining soul essences to restore his soul force.

They were depleting so fast since his soul prowess had surpassed the Empyrean Stage, technically around Level Twelve Empyrean Stage if he were to put a mark on it.

Davis erased the traces of life and death energy on the island by using spatial energy and played around with the stone and the ring, checking the changes on them before glancing at Kronos Alistair, who stood near the door, guarding reluctantly but still looking in his way.

"What? You want them?"

"I dare not." Kronos Alistair shook his head and then cupped his hands, "Senior, please release my wife first, and you can see if I'm scramming or not the next second. I don't need you to help me undergo my tribulation. Just you undergoing tribulation alone is enough to help me undergo my tribulation because you will be inviting all Heaven's Warriors."

"Haha, indeed." Davis was amused, "Well, don't be so worried. I don't mean any harm. I'm not holding you two hostage, but if you leave now, chances are you will repeatedly die since a formation has covered the space, disallowing us from leaving. However, your wife will definitely die. A Primarch is coming for us."

"What!?" Kronos Alistair jumped.

He then realized that Davis's killing here had invoked the wrath of an elder.

"Why did you do this if you knew it was going to happen?" Kronos Alistair asked, his hands clenched as his thoughts rumbled, working out how to flee before he gets caught in this mess.

Davis frowned, "It's not like I didn't have any choice, but this guy over here ruthlessly killed my first son's avatar. Hmm, I don't quite approve of that."

"Oh…" Kronos Alistair became taken aback before he nodded approvingly, "Understandable. If I were you, I'd have brought his entire lineage down with me, even if I have to make the whole world an enemy once again."

Davis nodded lightly. Kronos Alistair has indeed committed a massacre, killing his own Alistair Family with his bloody hands, because they had tried to kill him for being a Divergent and ended up causing his mother's death. He had gone too far, targeting even the ones who didn't even know him, but that was how revenge in the cultivation world worked in most cases.

If you're not supporting me, you're supporting them. Then, die with them- was probably what Kronos Alistair said to the bystanders of the family, and killed them off.

"Seeing that you are still calm, I take it that you have some means to deal with this Primarch."

"Probably." Davis nodded, "Hmm, it's nearly time. I can sense danger approaching."

"Oh shit!" Kronos Alistair looked around, wanting to hide, but couldn't find any place where he could hide from the senses of a Primarch.

He rapidly approached Davis, "Just take me back into the ring!"

"Hahaha!" Davis couldn't help but laugh, but suddenly went stern, "No."

"Why!?"

Kronos Alistair cried out. He had never been so willing in his life to get sealed, so when he chose to go inside, why wasn't he being taken in? What kind of play was this?

Davis's lips curled, "I have chosen not take you inside during this period, no matter what. Therefore, the fact that you still haven't become aware of the future means that I have succeeded in dealing with the Primarch."

"…"

Kronos Alistair went silent.

His heart sank deeply into the dark abyssal ocean. This person was frightening to him as his physique was countered for the first time back then. Now, this person seemed to know how his physique worked and appeared to be adept at even using it to his advantage.

'Indeed… if I didn't die… that means he succeeded in dealing with the Primarch. To me, I live through multiple iterations of the original timeline, but he has only one original timeline to deal with, one that he knows that I will see through the future…'

"Senior, you can't just sacrifice me without asking first!" Kronos Alistair protested.

"Quick, go hide somewhere."

Davis waved his hand and closed his eyes, entering meditation.

"…!'

Kronos Alistair felt so scared. A Primarch was coming to personally deal with them, different from Primarch-level existences that were in the secret realm that just went around and munched on sand boringly.

He quickly dashed out and took a pickaxe, pretending to be a loyal miner.

*Clang!~* *Clang!~* *Clang!~*

The sound of a single-pointed metal end hitting the ores could be heard for a while before the world went silent.

There was incredible pressure in the air, yet no undulations, creating a frightening atmosphere. A figure slowly descended from the skies, clad in black robes with half his upper body left to feel the breeze. His crimson hair swayed, and his robes fluttered as he descended and landed behind Davis, his gaze cold.

He could see the blood puddle below the purple cushion that nobody sat on. It was such an act of silent provocation to him and the Laughing Hexamaniacs that the whites of his eyes nearly went bloodshot.

"How dare you decide to stay? Given up on life, I see, but you could forget about dying."

The crimson-haired man's gaze went cold, and his expression nearly crazed as he reached out his hand towards Davis, trying to grab his nape.

The moment Davis felt a cold chill over his nape, he activated the Spatial Dome.

*Whoosh!~*

The Primarch's expression changed as he quickly moved back, his figure incredibly fast that Davis would have no way to even follow his figure with his senses. When an Exalt moves and speeds up, they could go extremely fast, traveling billions of kilometers per second. However, the Spatial Dome unleashed by the Exalt Grade Temporal Voidplane Ring was even faster, and in the initial second, it could encompass a terrifying area of space.

*Boom!~*

"You-!"

The Primarch barely shouted when he hit the barrier of the Spatial Dome before it quickly engulfed him.

Kronos Alistair barely saw the silver-black dome eat up a part of the mountain. Like a whale swallowing a vast amount of water, a spherical space of vacuum was created around Davis with the Primarch nowhere to be seen.

"It has gotten heavier but not bad…"

Davis uttered in fascination as he checked the Temporal Voidplane Ring's storage space.

Inside- there was the crimson-haired Archipelago Master in the form of retreat, his face etched with abrupt terror. With time frozen, he couldn't even retaliate to get out of it as Kronos Alistair could.

"You see this?" Kronos Alistair appeared in the hall that wasn't a hall anymore but just a spherical space devoid of anything except Davis, "This is why you don't get close to Anarchic Divergents. You never know how you are killed if you don't keep your guard up."

Davis was floating in the air, not sparing even a single piece of furniture. Everything around him within a few-kilometer radius was taken into the Temporal Voidplane Ring.

He moved the ring away from his face after confirming that the Primarch was powerless to escape. He had no doubt he would meet the same fate if he were sealed in a time-frozen space, unlike the Time Divergent.

"Now then, you can have your wife back safely."

Davis waved his hand, releasing Nadija.

"Stay or leave if you want. Either way, feel free to use my tribulation as an umbrella."

While Nadija flew towards Kronos Alistair and hugged him, Davis closed his eyes and continued to restore his soul essence, preparing to undergo his tribulation. Besides, that one usage of the Temporal Voidplane Ring's ability to seal an Exalt also took away nearly twenty seven percent of his martial energy, so he needed to restore that as well.
