With the help of the Ice Elf and the Rabbit-kin, Ruby managed to wake everyone. Pekora’s magic proved invaluable, as she could infuse life energy into people’s bodies and even their brains, prompting them to awaken from the deepest states of sleep.

However, it also caused a mild headache, so once everyone had woken, they rubbed their heads, glaring at Pekora with slightly annoyed expressions... except Hector, who was too kind to do so.

"Wait, where’s Emerald?!" Amehia asked, looking around with concern. "Dad? Oh, thank the ancient dragons you’re here..."

"I think he’ll be alright. Master Surtr is incredibly strong!" Jamar said.

"I agree with the little guy. We shouldn’t worry about him," Nadia nodded. "He has grown remarkably strong. Calm down, sis."

"Hmm..." Mina sighed, looking around. The fire giantess was visibly worried. "Agni, Leona, are you feeling alright?"

"Yes, I’m fine..." Leona sighed. "But my magic is unstable and weakened... This entire dimension feels strange. It’s making me sick—cough, cough...! Ugh? What’s this?" She glared at what she coughed up, a black goo mixed with blood.

"I believe we’re currently in a highly contaminated zone. This entire place, space, or rather, dimension, is permeated with a cursed miasma..." Pekora explained. "It would be unwise to remain here too long. We are not dragons, after all. Even with all the power we’ve developed, we lack their robust immunities and resistances to stay here for long."

"Well, some of us seem fine..." Larzak said, glancing at Rakasha and Ruby. "I suppose this cursed miasma doesn’t affect vampires?"

"It doesn’t seem to," Ruby said. "If anything, it’s making me stronger... but I’m sorry about this. I think I can help."

Ruby touched Leona, absorbing the miasma from her body, particularly her lungs, which she had inhaled the entire time.

"Oh wow, I feel better..." Leona said. "Thank you..."

"No problem," Ruby smiled. "I should do the same for everyone..."

Ruby extended her hands, absorbing the miasma that everyone had unwillingly inhaled and absorbed into their bodies, helping them feel better.

However, because the atmosphere was so contaminated, the relief was temporary. They would likely get sick again.

"Okay, let me get this straight..." Charlotte said, stepping forward from the dock. "All our dragons are gone—Drake, his family, everyone. Moreover, Alma and Chris’s teams are gone too. So, all our heavy hitters... except Ruby. She’s pretty strong, right?"

However, as the Divine Realm’s Spirit, I can still open a small portal there. We could all go there, take refuge, and wait until Drake and company reunite. Then, once he resolves the problem, we could emerge and help however we can."

Suddenly, three divine beings manifested—Aegir, Logi, and Jord—which, to everyone’s surprise, were present. Their jewels had merged with Fuyu to grant her extra divine power.

Well, technically, Logi wasn’t fully inside Fuyu, but he had formed a bond with her, and Agni was inside the ship, so it was similar.

"Divine Gods?! I had no idea you were with us!" Leona exclaimed.

"Well, now you do, Leona," Logi said. "Also, my jewel is with Agni, so of course I’ll be wherever he goes, girl."

"Ah, right..." Leona said, still processing everything, her mind a bit slow.

"Divine Gods, are you suggesting we stay and fight despite the dangers?" Agni asked. "I suppose we could, or at the very least, offer some support."

"I don’t want to take refuge in someone else’s divine realm. Sorry, but we’re finding Surtr," Nadia said.

"We aren’t weak either! I believe we’re very tough," Mina smiled. "Maybe not at the level of the dragons or Ruby, but I think we’re just a tier below, at least, right?"

"Ahh, I knew you wouldn’t agree with my plan. I’m simply trying to prioritize your safety. If your friends learned some of you died, wouldn’t that devastate them more than not being of help?" Fuyu asked. "I was only trying to be pragmatic and ensure everyone’s safety."

"We appreciate that, Fuyu, we really do," Larzak said. "However... We cannot simply escape this mess and leave our friends to deal with it just because they’re stronger."

"Remember our last big battle against Chaos and Pandemonium. It was thanks to everyone’s cooperation that we won," Kraxka said.

"Even the smallest help added up to the final blow that ended everything," Hector said. "We barely made it. If it was just Drake, his wives, and kids, I believe he wouldn’t have succeeded."

"He told us that, yeah..." Amehia nodded. "Emerald always needs our help too! He needs me... and I need him."
