Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2924: The Alchemy God

Chapter 2924: The Alchemy God

Alex asked the man to explain further in detail how everything had come to be. He wanted to learn all about how they had ended up in the Void.

The old man showed no hesitance in answering him and gave away all information as he saw fit.

Alex took in all information about how a random strong cultivator had come there demanding of them the treasure they hid, how the old man lied, and how the Voidgate malfunctioned, pulling them into the Void.

The old man described the stranger: his handsome look, his white hair, and his verdant green robes.

And most important, the man talked of the lantern the cultivator brought out, burning with a bright fire within it.

Alex’s eyes slowly went wide on the outside as he came to realize who the old man was talking about.

’The Alchemy God?’ he thought.

Never could he have expected that the person who was responsible for these people’s circumstances was the Alchemy God himself.

From how the tribe leader described him, the Alchemy God sounded like an absolutely evil person. But that seemed difficult to believe given their interaction.

Just to confirm, Alex quickly drew a painting of the Alchemy God from his memory and presented it to the tribe leader.

“Yes, this is him,” the old man said. “You… painted a similar picture last time as well. Do you know this man?”

Alex sighed. “I do,” he said. “But you don’t have to worry about that. If you have anything more to say, say it now.”

“I have nothing further to speak of, senior,” the man said.

“Alright, then we’re done here. You may return. When it is time, I will find you and your people a new place to create your tribe upon. It may take a long time though.”

“We are aware,” the old man said. “You said the same last time as well.”

“I… I see. Then I shall leave you.”

He returned his senses back outside with the book in his grip. He opened it again, and without anything else to do, he began reading it.

The first half of the page he had read a long time ago in the void, but he still began from the start. As he read, time passed unknowingly, the words revealing secrets he hadn’t known before.

Each part he read, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of déjà vu. It was as if he had already read it before, a sense that he had done this before.

Alex first wondered if he had read this during the period in which his memories were gone, but then that didn’t make sense. If he had no memories of that time, then he wouldn’t remember it at all.

No, this sensation was more akin to remembering something you had always known but had simply stopped thinking about a long time ago, the memories hidden under decades of dried mud and grime that were slowly being stripped away in pieces as he read, revealing that he had always had this information in his mind.

This was part of the inheritance he received from the Alchemy God. The knowledge of the Book of Boundless Healing had always been in his mind. He simply needed to read the book to recover it.

Fascinated by this new discovery, Alex continued reading more and more. He read about each part of a human or a beast’s body, how it worked, how the organs did what they did.

He learned about plagues, diseases, injuries, parasites. Anything and everything that could go wrong with a person, be they human or beast, was written in that book in such detail that Alex felt bad for this book being in hiding for such a long time.

Had people known about this information—had the Alchemy God decided to publicize this information, he would likely have prevented so many deaths and tragedies throughout the years.

The book included no cure of any specific type for any issue. That was the task of the healer to find. What the book noted was how each treatment could be done and how each disease or poison could be treated.

Alex couldn’t help but be amazed by the amount of knowledge crammed into this one book. Not just the amount of knowledge but also the efficiency with which it was delivered.

A single page of the book could likely be expanded to make an entire book that would take days to read. And here, the book easily described every situation using as few words as possible.

There was far too much for Alex to possibly read in a single day, so he continued reading even as days passed. He silently flipped the pages, moving through the book at a slow pace as he read them all.

The more he read the book, the more ’memories’ that were driven into his mind such a long time ago were unearthed. He would still need to go through all the knowledge at least a few times to get to know it enough that he would have the answer to any situation upon just hearing about it.

But for now, he was happy just unlocking all of that information in the first place.

It took Alex a little more than 4 days to finish reading the entire book. When he flipped the final page of the book and saw the blank back cover, he was surprised.

He really had gone through it all. And now, all that was left was to read this one last page of text.

As Alex read the final page and received all of that information, something strange happened. When the final piece of his memories was unlocked and there was nothing more hiding in his mind, he heard the sound of something… popping in his mind.

He paused for a moment, surprised by the sound. And then, he heard a very familiar voice.

“If you are hearing this, then you have found the Book of Boundless Healing,” the voice said.

Alex’s eyes slowly widened as he realized whose voice it was that he was hearing.

“Alchemy God?”
