Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2925: ■■■■■■

The Alchemy God could not hear Alex.

The Alchemy God wasn’t alive. At that moment, he was nothing more than a disembodied voice, tied to a memory, kept for the moment when his inheritor would find one of his books.

It was a message from the dead Alchemy God to Alex.

“My successor, if you have found this book, then you must have gone to the Cailan tribe of the Nineskull continent in the Wiseflower Spirit realm. I do not know how you acquired it, but I am happy that you did. No doubt, this was the most difficult to find of all the three.”

Alex frowned. ’This is supposed to be the most difficult?’ he thought. He still had the other two books to get. At least, he knew where one of them was.

“In the unlikely chance that you have not found the other two yet, I will tell you where they are.”

“I have hidden away the Book of Endless Recipes in the Death God’s tomb in Celestial’s Cradle just a few years ago. If luck is on your side, it is still there.”

“As for the Book of Countless Ingredients, I have met with the Divination God who has promised me to introduce me to the Sage who killed the gods. If I’m so lucky, I will give this book to him to hide since he is the only one I can imagine will be able to hide it safely.”

“The choice to find these books is yours, and they will help you tremendously as well. However, I must warn you, as they come with something terrible as well.”

“The book you have, the book I created myself, holds a secret that cannot fall into the wrong hands. ■■■■■■ is coming after me because he wants this secret, but he is a man you cannot let have it. If ■■■■■■

has managed to get his hands on the secret, then you must find her broken scythe and find someone to reforge it. That is the only thing that can undo what he will do.”

“The secret, in the right hands, will win us this war. But in the wrong hands, it will truly turn it into an eternal war.”

“So you must make a choice. Either you will stop searching for the other books and let the secret forever be a secret. Or you will find it and hope that it does not fall into the wrong hands.”

“You have made it this far, so I will let you make the decision for yourself.”

“Good luck, my successor. May the world you live in have more peace than the one I do.”

The Alchemy God’s message was done.

Alex remained stunned for a few long minutes, still hearing the youthful voice of the man who was the Alchemy God. His words sounded sincere and with a tone of fear at the same time.

“A secret?” he thought. “Who is trying to get the secret? Why didn’t I hear the name?”

He tried recalling the memory again, but it appeared it was gone. What he had heard just now was the only time he was ever going to have heard it. Once listened to, the memory vanished.

Now, Alex could only recall it from his own memory.

’Does that mean I didn’t read the book while I was in the other place?’ he thought. If he had read it and had this message surface during that time, it would’ve been terrible. He would’ve forgotten it by now.

’So I must’ve at least known that I was going to lose my memory,’ he thought. It was a logical conclusion to come to.

’The Book of Boundless Healing, the Book of Endless Recipes, and the Book of Countless Ingredients,’ Alex thought, now finally having learned all 3 names of the Alchemy God’s treasures.

’I have one of them, and the Alchemy God has another,’ he thought. ’As for the third one…’

The Alchemy God in his memory had mentioned the Divination God, who had promised to help him find the Sage who killed Gods.

“Gods… plural,” Alex thought. That could’ve been only one person then.

“The final book is with Godkiller?”

Godkiller was otherwise known as the Sage of Ten Thousand Treasures. If Alex’s understanding of the situation was correct, he was an Artifact Sage, who perhaps could have become an Artifact God if given the chance.

He had created so many artifacts over the years that it was unsurprising he would be a sage. It also made sense that the Divination God would help the Alchemy God meet Godkiller, since they were clearly acquainted.

That was how the Divination God had been allowed to leave this world with Godkiller.

A frown developed on Alex’s face as he tried to make sense of it. “How am I supposed to get the book if Godkiller is already gone? Did he take the book with him?”

Unless he left the book behind somewhere else before he left.

But where would that be?

Alex’s eyes narrowed as the most obvious answer surfaced in his mind.

“The Godkiller’s Tomb,” he thought. “He’s known to have stashed all of his treasures there. The Alchemy God’s book must be there as well.”

Alex’s face brightened as he saw the answer to where the final book was. It had to be in the Godkiller’s Tomb.

“So one book was hidden away in a random spirit realm, the other with the Godkiller, and the final one was in…”

He recalled what the Alchemy God’s words were for the Book of Endless Recipes.

“They were hidden in a Death God’s tomb?” he thought with a frown. How was he to know there was a Death God’s tomb in the Celestial’s Cradle?

Just then, he remembered something from a long time ago, a memory that came from the Alchemy God himself.

He remembered a dark corridor of sorts, with torches surrounding the space. Inside, he saw a broken scythe and the freshly preserved corpse of a woman.

Those were no doubt the memories of the Alchemy God. Then, was that woman… the Death God?
