Chapter 3130 Entourage
Chapter 3130 Entourage
Pearl continued his journey through the land while Alex followed at a distance. He fought beasts that showed up, defeating most of them, but whenever there were ones he could not win against, he was willing to give up.
He did face many life-and-death battles, but the beasts he fought were perfectly happy to run away instead of fighting to the death when the opportunity showed itself. If not that, he would run away himself.
He didn’t have to kill many after the White Tiger, but there were a few, and he never hesitated.
Pearl found another artifact and went up to it. That made the fifth artifact he had found. It had been over a year and a half since he had arrived here, and five artifacts in that time was not a small record.
He had talked to a few beasts about it, and even getting to a single one in a year was considered a lot. In the hundred or so years that most beasts spent in the Fighting Island, most of them would visit no more than fifteen artifacts in their entirety.
Pearl had taken that answer and decided to take things slow. But then, he also couldn’t stay around in one location for too long because of the fear of other beasts finding him.
The Azure Dragons definitely knew the general location he was in. Three more dragons had shown up in the past many months, and one of them had managed to escape before Alex could get to it.
The other two were firmly in Alex’s grasp, now somewhere in the vicinity with the other three dragons that were in Alex’s entourage.
Alex had yet to explain what he was doing with those Azure Dragons, but Pearl knew it had to do with something regarding his bloodline, so he was happy about it. At the same time, learning that the Patriarch of the Azure Dragons himself had sent his descendants to attack him
and force him to reveal a bloodline that never existed in him had made him angrier than anything else he could remember in recent memories.
Remembering his grandmother’s cold words that she had left him with had hurt quite badly, and now the entire family was behind him too. If not for his love for his father, he would’ve long since cast away that family and their name.
Alas, he was Qing Shouchaung, and he would remain that for the rest of time.
Still, he made a silent vow in his heart. If his brother managed to find some way to help him regain his lost bloodline, then he would accept it. However, if any part of that required them to beg the Azure Dragons for their help, he would immediately toss away all thoughts of becoming an Azure Dragon.
He had lived his life as a White Tiger, so he wouldn’t mind keeping it that way.

Alex took a deep breath and looked at the group sitting in the tree’s shade-four men and three women, all dragons.
Just how was this happening? He had already finished inspecting five out of the seven dragons, but they were refusing to leave. He could have forced them to leave, but he needed the blood they were providing.
He had expected Qing Guihan and Qing Yangxi to have left already, but even they remained behind. He knew what the cause was-his pills. If he stopped giving them, then they would likely leave. But they were selling their blood for the pills, and unless he wanted them to stop selling their blood, he had to keep giving them pills.
Their presence was also helping Alex in an entirely different way that he hadn’t expected.
The crowd of seven dragons in one place had a terrifying deterrent
effect, causing every beast in the vicinity to run away at once, never coming close to fighting Alex. At the same time, it had an opposite effect on the Azure Dragons.
Seeing their kin, the Azure Dragons loosened their guards and approached the group, allowing Alex to catch them off guard and force them to make an oath. Two of these dragons were ones he had added to his group that way, one of which even happened to be a dragon born of the bloodline from the Progenitor’s daughter’s side. He had finally managed to gather the bloodline of all three children of the Progenitor, which technically meant that he also had enough information through those samples to create a rudimentary combination to form the Progenitor’s true bloodline.
Whether that would mean anyone with this bloodline would gain the same strength as the Azure Dragon Patriarch or not was something Alex wasn’t sure about, but what he was sure about was that anyone with this bloodline would have access to all of the bloodline techniques that were passed throughout the Azure Dragons. Not all dragons could make use of all techniques. Each one possessed a combination of them. Only a pure bloodline allowed one to have all the techniques, just like Pearl had all White Tiger techniques because of his pure White Tiger bloodline.
Alex was still very much in need of much more blood, both to learn from and to distill just the bloodline elements of the Azure Dragons. He also needed more variety. With his entourage, he was sure it wouldn’t be long before he had many of them gathered.
Alex was still training with the other bloods to learn how to compress them and was getting closer to understanding more. He was sure that given time, he would absolutely learn everything he needed to.
Only, that was just one part of the task he needed to learn about. The
other part was how he was going to change the soul to match that of an Azure Dragon. If only he could understand how the Ancestral Bloodline Pool worked.
“What’s going on here?” a voice called out from behind Alex.
Alex turned to see a young blue-haired woman with a strange expression on her face and smiled.
His menagerie of seven dragons was going to have a new member
again.
