Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 3131 No More Pills

Chapter 3131 No More Pills

The black-haired woman had shown up from time to time during the past few months, and Alex now knew more than well that it wasn’t just to fight him. There was something very precise that she wanted from him, something he either didn’t have or wasn’t considering just yet.

For some reason, she expected it to be brought forth through

fighting, so that was all he could do. Although, truth be told, he was quite happy to fight her. His Sword Heart was steadily improving, and at this rate, he would very soon have reached a state where he could proudly proclaim that he had learned Sword Heart.

Sword Heart wasn’t all that Alex trained with her for. Given that she was a strong opponent he didn’t have to worry about killing, he gave his all to fight her, expending his Qi at a rate that wasn’t possible in any other way.

And cultivating right after expending his entire Qi led to greater benefits to his meridians and dantian than if he didn’t. Even after the Tree of Life had improved those parts of him, this was more than appreciated.

“Well, that’s all for today,” the woman said before vanishing from the spot despite Alex’s complete attention at watching where she went. The speed at which she moved still confused him to no end.

He stood there for a moment, with almost all of his Qi gone, thinking about it. Her speed wasn’t normal; that much he understood.

It wasn’t just that she was fast normally, but even when he subjected her to Time Dao, her speed still came out on top. She should’ve been slowed by quite a lot, but it was almost as though it didn’t affect her at all.

That abnormality had gotten Alex to seriously think about a few things. He stood there for a few long minutes with many thoughts crossing his mind before one came that he immediately tossed away. However, even as he tossed it away, something about that thought made him go back to it and give it proper consideration. The chances that what he had landed on were true were incredibly low, but it explained a lot of the abnormalities, making him consider it seriously. There wasn’t much he could do, though, except wait for the next time he met her before testing out this theory. Perhaps he would learn something then.

Alex flew out of the gorge he and the woman had been fighting in and arrived at the top of the cliff. A few of the newer dragons he had gathered watched with slack jaws, their eyes following him as he flew out next to them.

While to Alex the fight had been simple, the dragons had seen a man who had easily captured them go all out against a woman and fail to land a single hit. The surprise was not because of Alex but because of the woman.

That was understandable. Alex was surprised the first time around as well.

He told the eleven dragons that he was going to cultivate and let them be. Not one of them was going to leave even if he wanted to, so there was nothing to worry about.

He took one look at where Pearl was and sequestered himself next to a giant rock. He pulled out the cultivation pills to eat and frowned when he realized just how few he had.

There were no more than a few dozen of them at best anymore, and that would take no more than a month or two to be over when the dragons were done selling their blood.

That made Alex frown. He ate one pill and pushed away the issue for after he was done. He cultivated for the next eleven days and then decided to spend an additional seven days absorbing the aura from the Blank Canvas Pill. He needed to fill up the Origin, and now was as good a time as any.

The dragons cultivated themselves, each one not worried about their time being wasted. Most of them weren’t here to be put on trial, and even those that were had ninety-odd years to fulfill the requirements of the trial. Alex would only be with them for the next eight or so

years anyway.

Once Alex was done, he stood up and gathered the dragons around.

The eleven dragons, all in human form, gathered before Alex, half of them waiting to sell him their blood for another pill.

“Alright, I’ll just get to the point. I don’t have any more cultivation pills to sell to you all,” he said.

“Healing pills are fine,” Qing Fuojia said from the side.

“I don’t have those either. In fact, I won’t be selling any pills to you anymore since you beasts are running me dry,” Alex said. “I only have a few with me, and I will need them for the new ones among you that will be joining our group soon. Hopefully.”

The group of Azure Dragons looked at each other, each seemingly wanting the others in their sight to leave and lower the burden.

“Do you not have ingredients?” Qing Yangxi asked with an inquiring look.

Alex showed no emotion on his face. “Not many,” he said, which was a lie since he had plenty. But he needed to do this. Some of the dragons needed to leave. As sad as he felt to let sources of dragon blood go, more would come soon enough.

“Might I ask if you wish for all of us to leave or just a few?” another dragon asked, one of the newer ones.

“The new three will be staying. Aside from them, I won’t mind if everyone else leaves,” Alex said. “I’m sorry, but I just don’t have the

pills for you.”

“Can you make some pills then?” another dragon asked.

“I just told you I don’t-“

“Not your ingredients,” the dragon quickly corrected himself. “We

have ingredients we’ve gathered over the years for various pills. Would you let us stay if we sold our blood in exchange for making pills from them? You are an alchemist, right?”

Alex stared at the dragons before a deep sigh left his lips. “You lot aren’t ever gonna leave me, are you?”
