There, the skies once shrouded in darkness returned to their former gray. The tribulation clouds had receded.
Su Yi stood in midair, like a radiant sun illuminating the darkness. He was just that searing and that radiant.
He’d successfully overcome his tribulation!
His Undying Realm Grand Tribulation had been even more terrifying than the Tribulation of the Five Witherings, and it had scared off even the Well of Turbulent Daos, but in the end, it dissipated without so much as scratching Su Yi.
The incomparably perilous struggle they’d witnessed just moments prior somehow seemed like a lifetime ago.
Things had been far too precarious earlier.
Demon Emperor Lie Yun had feigned weakness, playing the pig to eat the tiger. In doing so, he’d plunged Su Yi into grave peril. Demon Emperor Chi Nie had suddenly commanded the execution of every last captive in a bid to destroy Su Yi’s Dao Heart.
Combined, it was enough to fill someone with helplessness and despair.
But when Su Yi revealed his hidden cards in the face of peril, the situation changed.
The power of the Epoch Spark had invited the Tribulation of the Five Witherings had been the first major variable.
Then, the Well of Turbulent Daos arrived to counter it.
But when Su Yi broke through, his Undying Realm Grand Tribulation completely turned the situation around!
His enemies, unwilling to accept their defeat, could only resort to controlling the hostages and sending them after Su Yi to force him to make a painful choice.
Who could have imagined that yet another variable would arise in that moment of extreme peril? A handsome young man appeared out of nowhere to loot a burning house!
Luo Yao and the others’ will to fight wavered, and their hopes turned to ash. How could Su Yi possibly fight someone like that?
But it was then that they finally saw Su Yi’s true hidden card.
A rusted sword sheath appeared, forcing the handsome young man back and capturing all of the hostages. In doing so, it completely ruined their enemies’ plans, and the situation turned on its head.
The Outsider Celestial Demon army collapsed, and its soldiers fled. Even the Well of Turbulent Daos went into hiding!
Su Yi, meanwhile, escaped his close brush with death unscathed, rebuilding himself amidst destruction.
Who wouldn’t have been rueful after seeing this? Su Yi had faced numerous hardships, each shocking in its own right. The battle had been full of hidden dangers, variables, twists, and turns.
Meanwhile, beneath the dome of heaven.
Endless tribulation light flooded into Su Yi’s body. It nourished his blood, flesh, tendons, bones, organs, soul, and cultivation base.
His transformation was still ongoing, but Su Yi already felt as if he’d been reborn.
This was Undying Power!
After overcoming countless hardships, he’d rebuilt himself amidst destruction and entered the Undying Realm!
What did it mean to Undying?
It meant that countless years could pass you by, but you’d remain, untouched by time. Suns and moons could fall, yet you’d persist. Your Dao could exist in perpetuity, never to be destroyed!
No matter how heaven and earth changed, and no matter the ups and downs of worldly affairs, you alone were Undying, removed from it all!
The Undying Realm was the fourth and final realm of the Divine Dao.
Only those who grasped Undying Truths, condensed Undying Laws, and developed Undying wondrous abilities could reach this realm.
They were leaders among gods. Thus, they were known as Master Gods!
Upon reaching this realm, the Sea of Chaos bubbled forth with Undying Truths, establishing Undying foundations in the Grand Dao.
Within the soul, Master Gods condensed Undying Avatars.
Their powers of the Grand Dao transformed, evolving into Undying Laws!
The only thing Undying Realm cultivators had to watch out for were Dao-Refining Tribulations. If they failed to overcome a tribulation, their souls would scatter.
There were nine Dao-Refining Tribulations in total, each more terrifying than the one before it.
It was for this reason that, throughout the God Domain’s long history, few Master Gods ever made it to their ninth tribulation.
But Su Yi’s Undying Realm was obviously different. It was entirely distinctive!
After reaching this realm, he discovered that his Epoch Spark had fused fully into his Sea of Chaos, becoming part of his foundations in the Grand Dao.
His cultivation, physique, soul, powers of the Grand Dao, all showed signs of forming their own world!
He even got the sense that he was becoming the incarnation of an epoch. He’d taken a step toward replacing the Will of Heaven!
Su Yi couldn’t help but feel astonished.
Neither Yi Daoxuan nor Li Fuyou had had such extraordinary foundations upon reaching the Undying Realm, nor had any of the other Master Gods Su Yi was familiar with!
The Epoch Spark has fused fully into my foundations in the Grand Dao, and my entire being shows signs of forming a new epoch. Does this mean that, as my cultivation base advances, I’ll one day be able to take the place of Heaven’s Will and manifest the mysteries of a new epoch?
If so, does that mean I’m already truly qualified to ‘bring order to creation?’

I didn’t care much at the time, as my ambitions lie elsewhere.
But now that I’ve entered the Undying Realm, I can sense a new epoch manifesting within me. It seems that, one way or another, there’ll be no avoiding ‘bringing order’ in my future cultivation!
With every step I take down this path, I get closer to replacing Heaven’s Will!
Su Yi quickly set those matters aside. He quietly evaluated his newly advanced cultivation base, comparing it to his past selves. Before long, he’d made numerous new discoveries.
By the time he’d finished, he was certain of something. His Undying Realm cultivation base was different from other people’s, just like his Path of Transcendence. It was entirely unprecedented!
What Dao-Refining Tribulations? What ‘established methods for cultivating in the Undying Realm?’ His path was nothing like that.

He wouldn’t have to face Dao-Refining Tribulations. Instead, he’d have to face tribulations born of the present epoch, much like the Tribulation of the Five Witherings.
This was for the simple reason that his path would lead to him replacing Heaven’s Will in the present epoch!
This was a path that truly defied, seized, and replaced the heavens!
In a sense, Su Yi himself was an Epoch Spark. He had the foundations needed to condense a new epoch civilization!
He’d only just stepped onto this path, and he still had a long road ahead of him, but his foundations were truly heaven-defying. No one else could hope to emulate him!
I cannot divide my Undying Realm cultivation into Dao-Refining Tribulations like other people do, thought Su Yi. The moment I stepped onto this path, I placed myself in operation with the natural order and Heaven’s Will of the present epoch. Thus, perhaps I ought to name this first step myself.
Su Yi had a sudden flash of inspiration.

The name came from a saying, and it was typically derogatory.
At least, it was amongst mortals. Amongst cultivators, it referred to those with the courage needed to disregard the laws of heaven and earth!
Su Yi nodded to himself. Very well. I’ll call the first level of my Undying Realm cultivation ‘No Laws, No Heavens!’
The pre-existing Laws of heaven and earth and principles of cultivation no longer suited him. He naturally had to seek out his own path through the Undying Realm.
Why fear the so-called Will of the Heavens? One day, he and Heaven’s Will would compete, and he’d naturally take its place!
This was what they meant when they said, “You shouldn’t blindly follow established conventions” and “the heavens are not worthy of fear!”
At this thought, Su Yi’s mind cleared, as if he’d achieved sudden enlightenment. It was then that his newly transformed cultivation base fully stabilized.
The radiance around him receded, his air of divinity faded, and his aura of the Grand Dao went dormant. From the outside, he seemed like an ordinary mortal, as if he’d achieved a return to simplicity. He had a natural, plain, and tranquil air about him.
He was like just one of the myriad facets of creation, one of countless blades of grass or floating specks of dust. It was as if you could have found others like him anywhere.
But… He could also be the radiant moon of the nine heavens, an endlessly vast ocean, or a ruler standing proudly atop the clouds!
His heart and mind had fused fully with heaven and earth. He was one with nature, and nature in all its facets was his to command!
He stretched languidly, then looked around, his heart brimming with pride.
He’d finally stepped into the Undying Realm and become a Master God! In doing so, he’d returned to the pinnacle of the God Domain!
The people of the God Domain had always said that “the Undying are the pinnacle of the divine.”
To Su Yi, stepping into the Undying Realm meant that he’d reached the same level as Yi Daoxuan and Li Fuyou.
The only difference was that they’d reached the peak of the realm, while he’d merely taken the first step into it.
But his first step was starkly different from theirs!
Su Yi took out a jug of wine, threw back his head, and drank with relish. Then, he looked around, his eyes shining with wild pride.
Meanwhile, Luo Yao, Wen QIngfeng, and the others flew toward him.
“Brother Fuyou, you really saved us from disaster this time!”
“I finally dare say it with certainty. Returning through the cycle of reincarnation really has changed you!”
“Congratulations, Brother Fuyou! You’ve defeated your enemies, proven your Dao, and become Undying once more!”
All of them spoke up, one after another. None could conceal the delight or excitement on their faces.
This was Su Yi’s first time seeing his old friends so happy and relaxed since his return to Dao-Seeking City.
Prior to this, even after reuniting with him, their brows had been furrowed with lingering anxiety, but now, the dark cloud hanging over their heads had been swept away completely!
“This is no time to celebrate,” said Su Yi. He couldn’t bear to ruin their good mood, so he said softly, “This battle has ended, but the true battle has only just begun. At the very least, this was an excellent start.”
He sounded relaxed, but everyone understood the brutal, dangerous reality he was hinting at. How could they not?
But then, it was just as Su Yi had said. In today’s battle, he’d broken the Outsider Celestial Demons’s encirclement of Dao-Seeking City. This was an excellent start!
This victory raised their spirits and boosted their confidence more than words ever could have.
“Come on, let’s go back for now,” said Su Yi, walking toward Dao-Seeking City.
The others hurried after him.
The massive battlefield behind them was littered with scars. It was utterly desolate, and there was absolutely no sign of the Outsider Celestial Demons left.
